Hlavní část dizertační práce je následně věnována výzkumu vlastního hybridního řešení; kryptosystému. Jedná se o řešení; které nenaplňuje pouze jeden bezpečnostní princip (např. pouze autentičnost); nýbrž o řešení; které nabízí všechny požadované principy informační bezpečnosti v energetice. Je provedena hloubková analýza dnešních řešení; které jsou následně evaluovány vlastními měřeními i pomocí současné aktuální literatury. Následně je proveden návrh kombinací symetrických a asymetrických kryptografických algoritmů; tak aby byla zaručena efektivita výsledného systému; ale také zachována jeho komplexnost systému. Jedná se o kombinaci symetrických blokových algoritmů elektronické kódové knihy; zajišťující autentizaci a integritu pomocí náhodných klíčů; řetězení šifrovaného textu zajišťující důvěrnost; společně s algoritmem Diffieho-Hellmana nad eliptickými křivkami zajišťující bezpečnou distribuci a výměnu symetrických tajných klíčů. V neposlední řadě je přiblížen provedený vlastní vývoj a optimalizace hybridního kryptosystému. Je představeno vlastní řešení pro reprezentaci velkých čísel a modulární algebru v zařízení s limitovanými zdroji; které je ověřeno experimentálními měřeními. Dále je rozebrán vlastní návrh; validace a optimalizace řešení náhodných hardwarových generátorů (založených na efektivním principu kvantizační chyby a protichůdných oscilátorů). Je také řešena navržená část symetrické kryptografie; kde je využito dvou dostupných knihoven; které jsou následně znatelně optimalizovány. V neposlední řadě je představen provedený rozsáhlý výzkum kryptografie eliptických křivek a možností distribuce symetrického klíče. Jsou implementovány algoritmy pro výpočty s body eliptických křivek nad polem s prvočíselným řádem i nad polem řádu 2. Realizace pak zahrnovala více než 50 eliptických křivek různých standardů; kde největším úspěchem jsou křivky nad polem prvočísel o řádu p = 256. Tyto křivky v době řešení nebyly na takto hardwarových platformách řešeny. Nakonec jsou představeny originální výsledky výzkumu; který se zabýval vhodnou volbou křivek a studií jejich doménových parametrů z pohledu vztahu velikosti k rychlosti operací nad křivkou.; The dissertation thesis focuses on research in the optimisation of telemetry systems in energy from the perspective of information security. The thesis deals with nowadays challenges in information security; its definition as well as its methods. The main focus is on the area; where devices with limited resources such as memory or computational power are used. These devices pose security risks that may affect the entire smart grid infrastructure. Nowadays research challenges terminology and legislative; which is crucial in the defined area; are brought closer. The main part of this thesis is devoted to the research of the author’s own hybrid solution – the hybrid cryptosystem. The solution fulfils all necessary principles of information security – authenticity; confidentiality; integrity and data freshness. An analysis of today’s solutions is provided together with a complex evaluation based on own experimental measurements and available literature sources. Subsequently; a combination of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography algorithms is designed that provides both high efficiency and complexity. It is a combination of the symmetric block cyphers Electronic Code Book; which provides authenticity and integrity by using random keys; Cipher Block Chaining; which provided confidentiality; and the asymmetric algorithm of Diffie-Hellman over Elliptic Curves; which provides key agreement scheme over an unsecured channel. Further; the development and optimisation of the hybrid cryptosystem are brought in light. The proprietary solution of large number representation and modular algebra in a device with limited resources is presented and validated via own experimental measurements. Moreover; the own design is analysed and the two proposed hardware generators (based on efficient methods of quantization error and opposing oscillators) are evaluated and optimised. Additionally; the symmetric part of the cryptosystem is also investigated; where two main solutions are highly optimised. Last but not least; deep research on the cryptography of elliptic curves and the key distribution scheme is presented. Two main curve types are dealt with – over a finite field and over a field of characteristic two. The implementation included more than 50 elliptic curves of different standards. The implementation of the curves of order p = 256 has the highest impact. These curves were not addressed on such devices at the time of solution. Finally; the original research results of possible speed optimisation via using special elliptic curves are introduced. The relationship between curve domain parameters and point computational efficiency is studied. This last part brings also promising results for the field of effective cryptographic algorithm – the lightweight cryptography.

The intention of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the HIV and AIDS management at schools in the Tshwane South District. The rationale was based on the gap in research regarding evaluation of the implementation of intervention programmes at schools, especially the management and leadership intervention strategies. The Foundation for Professional Development (FPD), a South African Medical Association self-funding education provider in the health sector, had conducted a training intervention with the members of the School Management Teams (SMT) of the Tshwane South District schools. The application of the skills, knowledge and attitudes gained through this training was the main focus for evaluation. For that reason, the Success Case Method (SCM), an innovative programme evaluation design, was used. The first phase of the SCM involved using a short questionnaire to identify appropriate participants for the second phase, which involved in-depth telephone interviews as directed by the SCM. The second phase also involved probing, understanding and documenting the successes, thus allowing an evaluation of the findings. The findings of the study indicate that some SMTs are actually implementing the skills, knowledge and attitudes gained in the FPD training with success, albeit with differing levels of effectiveness. It was also found that there are unsuccessful SMTs that are not implementing or are unable to implement their learning from the FPD training. There were various reasons for both the successes and non-successes. These included matters pertaining to conflicting directions, policy guidelines, commitment, empathy and attitude of the SMTs in understanding circumstances related to people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, teamwork, reporting systems, the duration of the training workshop and pace of learning of SMTs members, marketing collaterals, workforce availability and availability or lack of time for implementing the HIV and AIDS programme. The recommendations include the provision of follow-up and material support to schools, including the formation of HIV and AIDS management forums and networks. Recommendations are also made to the FPD for enhancing and sustaining the training and implementation. Further recommendations are proffered to the Department of Education regarding activities for directed and needs-based support for schools. The study contributes to the practice of HIV and AIDS management in that it produced an evaluation report on the implementation of HIV and AIDS management at schools. This should be useful to practitioners at school, community and departmental levels regarding the status of HIV and AIDS management at schools. The study also contributes to the theory of intervention programmes using the Success Case Method in education, which is a novel, user-friendly and easy-to-use method of evaluation.

Neste estudo, entende-se terminologia de gênero como o conjunto de itens lexicais relacionados às mulheres e às pessoas LGBT, bem como aos contextos sociais e jurídicos que motivam a produção legislativa voltada a esses sujeitos de direito. Busca-se compreender a gênese da terminologia de gênero no contexto sócio-histórico e observar como essa terminologia expressa transformações sociais. Os pressupostos teóricos das abordagens terminológicas de orientação cognitivista − a Terminologia Baseada em Frames (TBF) e a Teoria Sociocognitiva da Terminologia (TST) − e de abordagens de orientação comunicativa, representada pela Teoria Comunicativa da Terminologia (TCT), fundamentam o estudo, colocando em relevo a importância da cognição e reconhecendo o papel do contexto discursivo para a análise terminológica. Nesse direcionamento, recorre-se à seleção de textos digitalizados para compor um corpus e de ferramentas digitais de assistência à pesquisa. Dada a complexidade do termo gênero, justifica-se o estudo de seu desenvolvimento e seu comportamento sob aspectos sócio-históricos e linguísticos. Metodologicamente, o corpus é utilizado numa abordagem interdiscursiva, sendo dividido em um subcorpus de estudo, formado de 291 normas legais, e um subcorpus subsidiário, formado de 65 textos de referência e de popularização bem como de textos científicos considerados representativos da área e prováveis influenciadores de conteúdo legislativo. Os procedimentos de coleta, observação e análise dos dados são realizados com auxílio do aplicativo de análise textual AntConc. No corpus subsidiário, selecionam-se contextos com a chave de busca gênero_é, para se compreender gênero como uma categoria de análise social explicada pelos autores que se dedicam ao tema. Os contextos de gênero do corpus de estudo são analisados à luz dos dados encontrados no corpus subsidiário. Com apoio na fundamentação teórica da TST, TBF e TCT, a análise permite reconhecer gênero como um elemento complexo que se constrói e se transforma em uma perspectiva sócio-histórica e se relaciona com outras unidades lexicais em uma estrutura conceitual temática. Tais unidades referem participantes e elementos que interagem – mulheres, homens, LGBT; masculinidade/feminilidade, sexo, sociedade e (des)igualdade – e que completam o cenário comunicativo no qual são identificadas cinco acepções para gênero: a) categoria de análise social; b) mulher; c) sexo em contexto de (des)igualdade; d) autopercepção e e) sexo biológico. A identidade de gênero, como percebida ao longo desse estudo, é, de modo geral, intrínseca a todas as pessoas, identificadas ou não com as representações de feminino e masculino atribuídas socioculturalmente para mulheres e homens.
