Zaradi pregrevanja zraka v običajnih rastlinjaku v poletnih mesecih smo prišli na misel, da bi s tankim slojem tekočine med dvema steklenima stenama prestregli del vpadne toplote in obenem hladili notranjost rastlinjaka. Tako smo najprej izračunali temperaturo za običajni rastlinjak in nato še za z 1cm debelim slojem vode hlajeni. Pri tem smo morali izračunati vse toplotne tokove, ki vstopajo in izstopajo v rastlinjak. Še posebej pa je pomembna določitev absorpcije dela toplote v vodi. Izračunali smo tudi, kako se spreminja temperatura v rastlinjaku ob spreminjanju vstopne hitrosti hladilne tekočine in ob spremembah vstopne temperature hladilne tekočine. Nekatere rezultate smo preverili s simulacijo v programu Ansys CFX. Računi so pokazali , da bi bilo mogoče s primerno nizko vstopno temperaturo in primerno hitrostjo hladilne tekočine regulirati temperaturo zraka v rastlinjaku.

Because of to high air temperatures in ordinary greenhouses during summer we get the idea of thin liquid layer that can intercept part of incident solar heat and cool the inside air at the same time. First we calculated the air temperature for ordinary greenhouse and afterwards for with 1cm thick water layer cooled greenhouse. It was necessary to determine incoming and outcoming heat fluxes. Very important was determination of heat absorption in water. Calculations of air temperatures for cooled greenhouse by varying the speed and by varying inlet temperature of cooling liquid were made. Some calculated results were checked with Ansys CFX software. Calculated results showed us, that is possible to regulate the greenhouse air temperature with proper inlet temperature and proper speed of cooling liquid.
