 コンピュータ上での絵具の発色シミュレーションは,グラフィックソフトウェアへの応 用が期待できる.古典油彩画には,透明な層を重ねて微妙な色調を表現する「グレーズ」 という技法がある.グレーズ技法により,混色では表せない微妙な色調が表現されるとい われている.本論文では,光学的な面からグレーズ技法の発色シミュレーションを行い, 応用アプリケーションを考える. 油絵具は,他の絵具と違い本質的な透明性を持っている.古典油彩画のグレーズ技法は その透明性を生かし,塗り重ねにより色を表現するものである.現在普及している2 次元 グラフィックソフトウェアにおいても,各レイヤで透明度と下層との演算方法を設定する ことが可能であるが,擬似的に減法混色に基づく演算を選んだとしても,実際の絵具の塗 り重ねとは違った色になる.現在の2 次元グラフィックソフトウェアでは,レイヤの透明 度を上げると色が薄くなってしまうため,油彩のように透明感とともに色の存在感を持た せることは困難である.グレーズ技法をコンピュータ上で再現することにより,古典油彩 画で行われているような重色が可能なグラフィックソフトウェアの実現が期待できる. そこで本論文では,2 つのアプローチでグレーズ技法のシミュレーションを試みる. 1 つめは,既存のコンピュータグラフィックス研究や,コンピュータカラーマッチング でも使われている,2 フラックスモデルによるアプローチである.これは光の吸収と散乱 を上下方向に進む光に単純化したモデルであり,散乱が考慮されるため,現実の絵画の発 色により近い混色や重色計算が可能である.光の伝搬を上下方向に単純化することから, 計算量が抑えられるという点で優れている.本論文では,絵具の発色計算で標準的な2 フ… (more)
