1. Marčič, Bernarda. Ekonometrična analiza napovedi odkupnih cen mleka v Sloveniji.

Degree: 2018, Univerza v Mariboru

The subject area of the master's thesis is the analysis of the purchase price of milk in Slovenia from 2008 to the end of April 2016. We also present a part of the area before and after the milk quotas have been abolished and the impact of milk quotas in Slovenia has been influenced. The main objective of the task is to evaluate the impact of the change in the price of fresh milk on the purchase price of milk in Slovenia. For this purpose, we used the econometric analysis to look for the most appropriate regression model with which we obtained the complete information and the necessary data for calculating the elasticity of demand. The value of the coefficient tells us that there is an inelastic forecast for the purchase price of raw milk at the producers. This means that in the case of a 1% increase in the price of fresh drinking milk on the market, the purchase price of milk will be reduced by 0,1%.
