In spite of the highly fluctuating oil prices seen over the past number of years, the availability of relatively inexpensive sources of liquid hydrocarbons is diminishing, and the development of economically and environmentally viable alternative technologies to supply these hydrocarbons is vital. Projecting into the short and mid-term futures, the world economy is expected to continue to depend on hydrocarbon resources for stability, and thus technologies to produce these resources are important. Synthesis gas (CO and H₂), can be produced from a number of sources and feedstocks, such as biomass, waste and natural gas, and synthesis gas can be converted into liquid fuels such as hydrocarbons and alcohols, which are currently produced in large quantities in the conventional petrochemical industry. The selective oxidation of hydrocarbons, and in particular natural gas of which CH₄ the primary constituent, is notoriously difficult to control, mainly due to propensity of the reaction to generate to products of complete combustion. N₂O is a potent greenhouse gas (CO₂(e) = 300) and its concentration in the atmosphere is continuously increasing [Lee, Ryu et al, International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control, January 2011, Pages 167–176]. Despite its greenhouse gas notoriety, N₂O is also recognised as a more selective oxidant than O₂ and has been used to selectively oxidise CH₄ to produce valuable products including synthesis gas. The production of synthesis gas, via its reaction with N₂O could be beneficial environmentally, as it could be used to provide valuable products when used to reaction with natural gas. The main aim of this research work is to investigate the scope of selective oxidation of natural gas (mainly CH₄) with N₂O over cobalt catalysts. The catalytic work was carried out in a continuous flow fixed bed micro reactor. Catalysts were prepared according to literature methods, as well as a new novel deposition method. The techniques used for catalyst characterization were powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), In situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms, temperature program desorption (TPD), chemisorption, transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The elemental composition of catalyst samples was determined by using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES). Based upon the experimental results obtained, the oxidation of CH₄ with N₂O over cobalt exchanged ZSM-5 (Co-ZSM-5) catalyst produced synthesis gas at a relatively high yield (19 %). When O₂ (instead of N₂O) was used as an oxidant over Co-ZSM-5 catalyst, synthesis gas was not formed. Similarly, when CH₄ and N₂O reacted over a cobalt on alumina catalyst, synthesis gas was not produced. Interestingly, H₂ was not detected as a reaction product when CH₄ with N₂O reacted over a Fe-ZSM-5 catalyst and only CO_x and H₂O were formed. Este estudo se ocupa de uma an?lise sobre a exist?ncia de elementos do xamanismo ind?gena, manifestados por meio de pr?ticas rituais, cren?as e mitos que se entrela?am com os elementos do cristianismo na festa do ?air?, em Alter do Ch?o, no Par?, como forma de resist?ncia aos ditames da Igreja e ? moral da sociedade moderna. Concentra-se na inten??o de identificar os elementos art?sticos e culturais presentes na manifesta??o dessa festa, por meio de ritos, dan?as, musicalidade, comidas, ladainhas, f? e devo??o que atravessam por todos os s?mbolos que comp?em essa festa popular de cariz religioso/profano, remetendo para uma poiesis da religiosidade popular. O ?air? ? uma festa secular introduzida na Amaz?nia pelos padres jesu?tas que diante das dificuldades no trabalho de evangeliza??o dos ind?genas, inventaram e/ou adaptaram um instrumento com cip?s, fitas, espelhos, biscoitos como forma de seduzir os nativos mesclando elementos da cultura europeia como os preceitos do cristianismo com elementos da cultura ind?gena como a dan?a e os instrumentos musicais, al?m, claro do movimento l?dico caracter?stico dos ind?genas. Esta pesquisa assume uma perspectiva interdisciplinar de di?logo com a Antropologia, Filosofia, Arte, Hist?ria e Religi?o, colocando em evid?ncia as rela??es de g?nero com destaque para a hist?rica domina??o masculina e o protagonismo feminino. O protagonismo ? tomado nesta tese como fragmento conceptual, a partir de pr?ticas sociais de dire??o e lideran?a exercidas por mulheres no ?mbito dos festejos do ?air?. O trabalho de campo foi realizado sob o aporte das abordagens qualitativas, tendo por inspira??o metodol?gica a etnografia aliada aos princ?pios da hist?ria oral. Os resultados revelam que o prop?sito de nega??o do paganismo ind?gena por parte do projeto colonizador portugu?s, apresentando Deus, a cruz e a salva??o eterna atrav?s da simbologia da Sant?ssima Trindade, encontrou resist?ncia dos ind?genas dentro da festa do ?air?. A resist?ncia aparece por dentro da manifesta??o do ?air? de forma polite?sta, reunindo elementos do paganismo ind?gena, sobretudo de sua mitologia. This study deals with an analysis of the existence of elements of indigenous shamanism, manifested through ritual practices, beliefs and myths that intertwine with the elements of Christianity in the party of ?air?, in Alter do Ch?o, Par?, as a form of resistance to the dictates of the Church and the morality of modern society. It concentrates on the intention of identifying the artistic and cultural elements present in the manifestation of this celebration, through rites, dances, musicality, food, litanies, faith and devotion that cross through all the symbols that make up this popular festival of religious / profane , referring to a poetry of popular religiosity. Tämä opinnäytetyön aihe on I/O-liityntöjen ja kenttäväyliin liitettyjen laitteiden testausohjeet. Työ tehtiin Valmet Automationille. I/O-liitynnät, I/O-laitteet ja kenttäväyliin liitetyt laitteet muodostavat Valmetin automaatiotoimitusten laitekokonaisuudet. Testausohjeiden tarkoitus on toimia yleisesti kattavina ohjeina tyypillisimmille projektitoimituksille. Laitteiston perusteellinen testaus on olennainen osa Valmetin projektin toimitusprosessia. Testausohjeilla pyritään tehostamaan laitteiston testausprosessia, ja varmistamaan turvallisuus. Testaus tapahtuu kahdessa vaiheessa. Laitteistolle tehdään ensin tehdaskoestus Valmetin toimitiloissa. Laitteiston tehtaaseen asennuksen jälkeen suoritetaan käyttöönottotestaus. Tämä opinnäytetyö sisältää testausohjeet projektin molempiin vaiheisiin. Testausohjeiden laatimiseksi seurattiin usean projektin tehdaskoestusta ja yhden projektin käyttöönottotestausta. Tuotetut testausohjeet ovat salassapidettäviä, ja ne jäävät Valmetin käyttöön. Opinnäytetyö ei sisällä testausohjeita. Tämän opinnäytetyön julkaistavassa raporttiosiossa käsitellään testausohjeiden tekoprosessi ja testausohjeiden sisältö yleisesti. Työhön kuuluu myös sähkötyöturvallisuuden huomioiminen tehdaskoestuksessa ja käyttöönotossa. Sähkötyöturvallisuuden varmistaminen huomioitiin testausohjeissa, ja sähkötyöturvallisuutta käsitellään raporttiosiossa. EU:n konedirektiivin ja siihen liittyvien standardien vaatimukset ovat myös osa tätä työtä. Direktiivin vaatimukset ohjasivat testausohjeiden laatimista, ja opinnäytetyöhön sisältyy direktiivissä käsitelty vikatilanneanalyysi.

The topic of this thesis is Testing manuals for I/O interfaces and devices connected to fieldbus. Thesis was produced for Valmet Automation. Hardware of automation systems delivered by Valmet consists of I/O interfaces, I/O devices and devices connected to fieldbus. The purpose for testing manuals is to serve as universally comprehensive instructions for typical projects delivered by Valmet. Thorough testing of the hardware is essential part of the project delivery process of Valmet. Testing manuals aim at optimizing and securing the testing process of the hardware. Testing is done in two parts. At first, factory acceptance testing is done in facility of Valmet. Site acceptance testing is done after hardware has been installed in factory. This thesis includes testing manuals for the both phases of testing. Factory acceptance testing of several projects and site acceptance testing of one project were observed to produce testing manuals. Produced testing manuals are confidential and remain in the use of Valmet. Process of producing testing manuals and general content is included in published report of this thesis. Part of thesis was also electrical work safety in factory acceptance testing and deployment. Ensuring electrical work safety was acknowledged in testing manuals and electrical work safety is covered in report. Avec les récentes réformes, dont la loi Hôpital, Patient, Santé et Territoires (HPST) de Juin 2009, l’hôpital s’est transformé non seulement dans sa forme organisationnelle par la mise en oeuvre des pôles mais aussi dans son rapport à son environnement. Cette organisation polaire vise à rechercher une performance par une approche médico-économique. Ainsi les dispositifs de gestion ont été mis en place et cherchent à rendre compte de cette performance. Dans ce contexte, comment peuvent travailler des professionnels de champs aussi différents que celui de la gestion et celui du soin ? La gestion sous-entend une optimisation des moyens, alors que le service public défend en priorité des valeurs d’utilité sociale et d’attention aux usagers. Les acteurs du soin ont une forte identification professionnelle à cette mission d’utilité sociale. Dans ce travail, nous proposons d’identifier en quoi les décalages culturels au sein des pôles hospitaliers, participent à une perte de sens et de reconnaissance des agents à leur travail. Ces écarts culturels seront appréciés plus précisément au travers de l’appropriation des outils de gestion. Cette étude se base sur des entretiens réalisés au sein de différents hôpitaux (CHU et CH) et de secteur Médecine, Chirurgie, Obstétrique (MCO) et psychiatrie. Elle révèle lanécessité de pratiques managériales innovantes tournées notamment vers la gestion interculturelle afin que chaque acteur de ces nouvelles structures hospitalières se sente compris et intégré dans cette dynamique. L’étude proposée peut constituer un retour d’expérience intéressant pour mieux comprendre et améliorer l’utilisation des nouveaux outils de gestion. Des préconisations sont proposées et peuvent constituer des pistes de réflexion afin de répondre aux défis actuels de l’hôpital public.

With the latest reforms, among which the Hospital, Patient, Healthcare and Territory (HPST) Law, the French Hospital has changed not only the form of its organisation through the implementation of a polar organisation, but also its environmental concern. This polar organisation aims to strive for performance and efficiency via an managerial and medical approach. Thus, some management tools have been set up aimed in particular at giving feedback on such performance. In this context, how can professionals from such distinct fields as management and healthcare work? Management implies the optimization of resources when the public sector above all upholds values of social usefulness and patient care. Healthcare actors feel very much involved in this mission of social usefulness. In this work we propose to identify how cultural gaps within hospital poles contribute to a loss of meaning and acknowledgment among healthcare agents. Those cultural gaps will be examined more particularly through management tool appropriation. ▼ Tidigare empiriska studier har visat att kontorstyper har en inverkan på arbetstrivseln hos medarbetarna och tidigare studier har även visat att det finns en skillnad mellan de olika könen när det kommer till hur kontorstypen påverkar de anställda. Syftet med detta arbete är därför att beskriva hur ett öppet kontorslandskap påverkar arbetstrivseln hos medarbetarna samt om trivseln skiljer sig mellan kvinnor och män. Studien är utförd med den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden, med en abduktiv forskningsansats, en tolkande och hermeneutisk epistemologisk inriktning och en konstruktionistisk ontologisk inriktning. Studien utgår från två valda teorierna som beskriver faktorer som påverkar trivsel, nämligen tvåfaktorsteorin och Angelöws teori, där de sju trivselfaktorerna själva arbetet, prestation, personlig utveckling, kommunikation, gemenskap, ledning och uppskattning valts ut att vidare tillämpa. För att samla in det empiriska materialet har semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts med 12 personer som arbetar i ett öppet kontorslandskap. Utifrån det insamlade materialet framgår både positiva och negativa åsikter gällande det öppna kontorslandskapets påverkan på de olika trivselfaktorerna. Det öppna kontorslandskapet har främst en positiv påverkan på personlig utveckling, kommunikation, gemenskap och uppskattning och en negativ påverkan på själva arbetet och prestation. De faktorer där könsskillnaderna är som mest tydliga är vid själva arbetet, prestation, personlig utveckling och ledning. Däremot finns det inga tydliga könsskillnader gällande faktorerna kommunikation, gemenskap och uppfattning. Slutsatsen visar att ett öppet kontorslandskap påverkar arbetstrivseln hos medarbetarna både på ett positivt och negativt sätt och trivseln skiljer sig mellan kvinnor och män, då kvinnor upplever att det öppna kontorslandskapet påverkar trivseln mer negativt än vad män gör.

O presente estudo avaliou a inserção da técnica gímnica oriental Lien Ch`i como conteúdo programático da disciplina de Educação Física nas escolas do Ensino Básico, através da visão dos docentes da referida disciplina. As escolas e os professores pertencem a rede pública de ensino do estado de São Paulo, nos municípios de Presidente Prudente-SP e de Araçatuba-SP. A Secretaria de Estado da Educação de São Paulo (S.E.E./SP) realizou tal intervenção capacitando seus docentes nos ano de 2003 e 2004, efetivando a prática do Lien Ch`i nos anos de 2005, 2006 e 2007. Os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs) atuais sugerem a divisão dos conteúdos de Educação física em três blocos; a) Esportes, jogos, lutas e ginásticas; b) Atividades Rítmicas e expressivas; c) Conhecimentos sobre o corpo. Devido à sua riqueza de opções de trabalho, o Lien Ch`i pode ser inserido em qualquer dos três blocos supracitados. Somados estes aspectos o nosso interesse foi aguçado para investigar as características desta modalidade, bem como a sua eficácia, motivação e aceitação dos sujeitos envolvidos no processo. Esta pesquisa tem cunho predominantemente qualitativo, cujas características mais significativas são seu conteúdo descritivo e interpretativo. Os dados foram coletados através de uma entrevista transcrita posteriormente e de consultas a documentos. Os docentes estudados (n=21) demonstraram possuir conhecimento sobre a capacitação recebida (Lien Ch`i), no que tange a origem e história, a constituição, composição e os objetivos dos exercícios, bem como, o seu auxílio para maximizar o aprendizado de escolares . Os docentes foram agentes diretos na implantação e desenvolvimento da proposta ocorrida na rede estadual de ensino de São Paulo. Foi observado uma maior reciprocidade, aceitação e participação para com o Lien Ch`i, bem como, melhor aproveitamento das aulas no ciclo I do Ensino Fundamental (de 1 à 4 séries). Foi detectada uma grande insatisfação sobre as propostas de conteúdos curriculares inseridas na disciplina de Educação Física (69,3%) e uma insatisfação maior ainda, sobre a não continuidade destas propostas inseridas (85,7%). Os fatores preponderantes citados para estas insatisfações foram: a imposição das políticas públicas educacionais autoritárias e desrespeitosas aos seus pares; a não continuidade das inserções com a troca de Governo, ou no mesmo Governo, com a troca de Secretario da Educação. .

▼ Total I/O bandwidth demand is growing in high-performance systems due to the emergence of many-core microprocessors and in mobile devices to support the next generation of multi-media features. High-speed serial I/O energy efficiency must improve in order to enable continued scaling of these parallel computing platforms in applications ranging from data centers to smart mobile devices. The first work, a low-power forwarded-clock I/O transceiver architecture is presented that employs a high degree of output/input multiplexing, supply-voltage scaling with data rate, and low-voltage circuit techniques to enable low-power operation. The transmitter utilizes a 4:1 output multiplexing voltage-mode driver along with 4-phase clocking that is efficiently generated from a passive poly-phase filter. The output driver voltage swing is accurately controlled from 100-200 mV_(ppd) using a low-voltage pseudo-differential regulator that employs a partial negative-resistance load for improved low frequency gain. 1:8 input de-multiplexing is performed at the receiver equalizer output with 8 parallel input samplers clocked from an 8-phase injection-locked oscillator that provides more than 1UI de-skew range. Low-power high-speed serial I/O transmitters which include equalization to compensate for channel frequency dependent loss are required to meet the aggressive link energy efficiency targets of future systems. The second work presents a low power serial link transmitter design that utilizes an output stage which combines a voltage-mode driver, which offers low static-power dissipation, and current-mode equalization, which offers low complexity and dynamic-power dissipation. The utilization of current-mode equalization decouples the equalization settings and termination impedance, allowing for a significant reduction in pre-driver complexity relative to segmented voltage-mode drivers. Proper transmitter series termination is set with an impedance control loop which adjusts the on-resistance of the output transistors in the driver voltage-mode portion. Further reductions in dynamic power dissipation are achieved through scaling the serializer and local clock distribution supply with data rate. Finally, it presents that a scalable quarter-rate transmitter employs an analog-controlled impedance-modulated 2-tap voltage-mode equalizer and achieves fast power-state transitioning with a replica-biased regulator and ILO clock generation. Capacitively-driven 2 mm global clock distribution and automatic phase calibration allows for aggressive supply scaling. ▼ Server virtualisation is increasingly popular but still suffers from poor I/O performance. There are several methods to address the problem. One solution is the side-core approach to offload virtualisation I/O processing on a dedicated core, which offers close to bare-metal performance without sacrificing important virtualisation features. Although the number of cores is continually increasing and the financial cost per core is dropping, considering the characteristics of I/O processing, the side-core approach can be more efficient with an asymmetric multi-processor (AMP) rather than a symmetric multi-processor. The broad objective of this work is to determine exactly how to design a dedicated core to offload I/O processing, typically a small core of an AMP, that can save power, energy, and area while retaining the performance of virtualised scientific workloads at a tolerable cost. Various strategies are employed to achieve this goal, including an analysis of intrinsic characteristics of I/O processing, experimental studies with AMP emulations, and architectural simulations to refine the preliminary results. Our methodology is first to use real processors to determine appropriate design parameters. We perform extensive experiments to evaluate the potential gain from using a side-core as well as investigate the overheads of VM I/O processing on virtualised systems with/without off-loading. This reveals the significant impact of off-loading on improving performance as well as reducing architectural overheads, such as cache and translation look-ahead buffer (TLB) misses. Then, we determine a suitable side-core design by using real processors to emulate an AMP. Our results show that a narrow, fast (high clock) in-order pipeline, with small first/second level caches without hardware data pre-fetch and a simple branch prediction unit are the desired features for an efficient side-core. We use not only scientific but also commercial workloads and both demonstrate similar results. However, these conclusions are limited by physically available configurations.Second, we use simulations to explore the parameter space in greater detail and perform an energy-delay-area analysis. We focus on TLBs and caches, which appear to have a remarkable impact on performance. We extend core/memory models of an architectural simulator and perform full-machine simulations of an AMP with VM I/O offload on the small core. The structural parameters of the L1/L2 caches and TLBs are scaled while taking into account their size, associativity, access latency and performance (hit ratio). These architectural simulation results are combined with power and energy simulations. The resulting energy-delay analysis shows that the optimal features of an efficient side-core are smaller and simpler L1/L2 caches, and larger L1/L2 TLBs, compared with an Intel Atom processor. Sulfoksidna funkcionalna grupa je česta u farmakološki značajnim jedinjenjima, a literaturni podaci ukazuju na to da uvođenje ove funkcionalne grupe u tiazolidinski prsten može da poveća biološku aktivnost molekula koji sadrže ovaj strukturni fragment. Iako je sinteza, hemijsko ponašanje i biološka aktivnost 4-oksotiazolidinskih S-oksida predmet interesovanja velikog broja hemičara, podaci o stereohemijskom nivou strukture često nedostaju ili su nedovoljno jasno predstavljeni. S tim u vezi, detaljno ispitivanje reakcije oksidacije sumpora kod 2-alkiliden-4-oksotiazolidina, kao i stereohemijska karakterizacija proizvoda od značaja su za utvrđivanje stepena i uzroka diastereoselektivnosti pri oksidaciji različitih cikličnih i acikličnih organskih sulfida koji poseduju stereogeni centar u susedstvu atoma sumpora. U skladu sa postavljenim ciljevima, nakon optimizacije reakcionih uslova sintetizovana je serija 4-oksotiazolidinskih S-oksida oksidacijom atoma sumpora kod 2- alkiliden-4-oksotiazolidina koji se razlikuju po supstituentima vezanim za egzocikličnu dvostruku vezu, atom azota i C(5) položaj prstena. Oksidacijom pomoću m-CPBA 5- supstituisani 4-oksotiazolidinski sulfoksidi dobijeni su kao smese dva diastereomera uz umerenu diastereoselektivnost koja varira od 57-74% diastereomernog viška. Relativna konfiguracija 5-supstituisanih sulfoksida određena je korelacijom eksperimentalno i teorijski dobijenih NMR podataka. Strukture polaznih 2-alkiliden-4- oksotiazolidina i sintetizovanih tiazolidinonskih S-oksida optimizovane su na DFT nivou, korišćenjem B3LYP funkcije i 6-31G* baznog seta, u gasnoj fazi. NMR hemijska pomeranja izračunata su primenom GIAO metode, na istom nivou teorije, u gasnoj fazi i u prisustvu rastvarača. Na osnovu eksperimentalnih i računski dobijenih rezultata utvđeno je da je proces oksidacije 5-supstituisanih 2-alkiliden-4-oksotiazolidina kinetički kontrolisan, pri čemu lakšim prilaskom reagensa (m-CPBA) sa sterno manje zaštićene strane u većoj količini nastaje manje stabilan anti-izomer. U toku obrade reakcione smese dolazi do uravnotežavanja pa se kao krajni proizvod dobijaju smese obogaćene termodinamički favorizovanim sin-izomerom. Veća stabilnost sin-izomera posledica je intramolekulskog C(5')H···OS 1,5-vodoničnog vezivanja i jače σC(5)-H → σ*S-O hiperkonjugacione interakcije nasuprot slabijoj σC(5)-C(5') → σ*S-O interakciji kod antiizomera...

Hlavní část dizertační práce je následně věnována výzkumu vlastního hybridního řešení; kryptosystému. Jedná se o řešení; které nenaplňuje pouze jeden bezpečnostní princip (např. pouze autentičnost); nýbrž o řešení; které nabízí všechny požadované principy informační bezpečnosti v energetice. Je provedena hloubková analýza dnešních řešení; které jsou následně evaluovány vlastními měřeními i pomocí současné aktuální literatury. Následně je proveden návrh kombinací symetrických a asymetrických kryptografických algoritmů; tak aby byla zaručena efektivita výsledného systému; ale také zachována jeho komplexnost systému. Jedná se o kombinaci symetrických blokových algoritmů elektronické kódové knihy; zajišťující autentizaci a integritu pomocí náhodných klíčů; řetězení šifrovaného textu zajišťující důvěrnost; společně s algoritmem Diffieho-Hellmana nad eliptickými křivkami zajišťující bezpečnou distribuci a výměnu symetrických tajných klíčů. V neposlední řadě je přiblížen provedený vlastní vývoj a optimalizace hybridního kryptosystému. Je představeno vlastní řešení pro reprezentaci velkých čísel a modulární algebru v zařízení s limitovanými zdroji; které je ověřeno experimentálními měřeními. Dále je rozebrán vlastní návrh; validace a optimalizace řešení náhodných hardwarových generátorů (založených na efektivním principu kvantizační chyby a protichůdných oscilátorů). Je také řešena navržená část symetrické kryptografie; kde je využito dvou dostupných knihoven; které jsou následně znatelně optimalizovány. V neposlední řadě je představen provedený rozsáhlý výzkum kryptografie eliptických křivek a možností distribuce symetrického klíče. Jsou implementovány algoritmy pro výpočty s body eliptických křivek nad polem s prvočíselným řádem i nad polem řádu 2. Realizace pak zahrnovala více než 50 eliptických křivek různých standardů; kde největším úspěchem jsou křivky nad polem prvočísel o řádu p = 256. Tyto křivky v době řešení nebyly na takto hardwarových platformách řešeny. Nakonec jsou představeny originální výsledky výzkumu; který se zabýval vhodnou volbou křivek a studií jejich doménových parametrů z pohledu vztahu velikosti k rychlosti operací nad křivkou.; The dissertation thesis focuses on research in the optimisation of telemetry systems in energy from the perspective of information security. The thesis deals with nowadays challenges in information security; its definition as well as its methods. The main focus is on the area; where devices with limited resources such as memory or computational power are used. These devices pose security risks that may affect the entire smart grid infrastructure. Nowadays research challenges terminology and legislative; which is crucial in the defined area; are brought closer. The main part of this thesis is devoted to the research of the author’s own hybrid solution – the hybrid cryptosystem. The solution fulfils all necessary principles of information security – authenticity; confidentiality; integrity and data freshness. An analysis of today’s solutions is provided together with a complex evaluation based on own experimental measurements and available literature sources. Subsequently; a combination of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography algorithms is designed that provides both high efficiency and complexity. It is a combination of the symmetric block cyphers Electronic Code Book; which provides authenticity and integrity by using random keys; Cipher Block Chaining; which provided confidentiality; and the asymmetric algorithm of Diffie-Hellman over Elliptic Curves; which provides key agreement scheme over an unsecured channel. Further; the development and optimisation of the hybrid cryptosystem are brought in light. The proprietary solution of large number representation and modular algebra in a device with limited resources is presented and validated via own experimental measurements. Moreover; the own design is analysed and the two proposed hardware generators (based on efficient methods of quantization error and opposing oscillators) are evaluated and optimised. Additionally; the symmetric part of the cryptosystem is also investigated; where two main solutions are highly optimised. Last but not least; deep research on the cryptography of elliptic curves and the key distribution scheme is presented. Two main curve types are dealt with – over a finite field and over a field of characteristic two. The implementation included more than 50 elliptic curves of different standards. The implementation of the curves of order p = 256 has the highest impact. These curves were not addressed on such devices at the time of solution. Finally; the original research results of possible speed optimisation via using special elliptic curves are introduced. The relationship between curve domain parameters and point computational efficiency is studied. This last part brings also promising results for the field of effective cryptographic algorithm – the lightweight cryptography.

In High Performance Computing (HPC) environments, scientific applications rely on Parallel File Systems (PFS) to obtain Input/Output (I/O) performance especially when handling large amounts of data. However, I/O is still a bottleneck for an increasing number of applications, due to the historical gap between processing and data access speed. To alleviate the concurrency caused by thousands of nodes accessing a significantly smaller number of PFS servers, intermediate I/O nodes are typically employed between processing nodes and the file system. Each intermediate node forwards requests from multiple clients to the parallel file system, a setup which gives this component the opportunity to perform optimizations like I/O scheduling. The objective of this dissertation is to evaluate different scheduling algorithms, at the I/O forwarding layer, that work to improve concurrent access patterns by aggregating and reordering requests to avoid patterns known to harm performance. We demonstrate that the FIFO (First In, First Out), HBRR (Handle- Based Round-Robin), TO (Time Order), SJF (Shortest Job First) and MLF (Multilevel Feedback) schedulers are only partially effective because the access pattern is not the main factor that affects performance in the I/O forwarding layer, especially for read requests. A new scheduling algorithm, TWINS, is proposed to coordinate the access of intermediate I/O nodes to the parallel file system data servers. Our approach decreases concurrency at the data servers, a factor previously proven to negatively affect performance. The proposed algorithm is able to improve read performance from shared files by up to 28% over other scheduling algorithms and by up to 50% over not forwarding I/O requests.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka före detta elevers uppfattning om att få undervisning i DRACON. DRACON är ett konflikthanteringsprogram med drama som metod. För min undersökning har metoden varit enskilda intervjuer samt fokussamtal med elever som 2003-2004 deltog i undervisning i DRACON i skolan och i en filminspelning om DRACON-programmet. Mina resultat visar att drama i trygg miljö upplevs positivt av eleverna framför allt för att det kan hjälpa blyga elever att träda fram. Studien visar också att flera av eleverna som intervjuades fick med sig nya redskap i konflikthantering. Eleverna är positiva till kamratundervisning för att öka kunskapen om konflikthantering på skolor, vilket sammanfaller med forskning av Burton i Australien och är i linje med Skolverkets förespråkande av förebyggande insatser på skolor för att förebygga mobbning. Eleverna ser fördelar med att undervisas av en särskild pedagog i dramaundervisningen. Utvecklingen i klassen efter arbetet med DRACON i skolan och filmen om DRACON-programmet visar en effekt som också beskrivs av DRACON International (2005). Eleverna lär känna varandra på nya sätt, utvecklar känslor av kamratskap, empati och respekt, ökar sin lyssnade förmåga, förstår vikten av samarbete och förmågor, som att lyssna till andra.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate previous students opinions about education in DRACON. DRACON is a program in conflict mangement with drama as a method. In spring 2013 interviews and focus discussions were made with students who 2003-2004 participated in education in DRACON and in filming the methods in the DRACON. My results shows that drama as a method get positive response, the most important reason is that it can be a help for shy pupils to step forward. Several of the pupils interviewed did get new tools for handling conflicts. The pupils are positive to peer-teaching for increasing the knowledge about conflict management in schools. The same thing is found in research by Burton (Australia) and is in the line with School department of Sweden that recommend preventive work in schools to prevent bullying. The students sees advantages in being educated by a pedagogue specialized in drama methods. The development in the school class after participating in DRACON and filming the methods in DRACON shows an effect among the students that also are described in DRACON International (2005). They get to know each other in new ways, develop feelings of friendship, empathy and respect, increase the listening capacity, understand the importance of collaboration and capacities, as listening to others.

▼ U ovoj disertaciji je izvršena teorijska i numerička analiza armiranobetonskih poliedarskih ljuski, tretirajući beton i armaturu kao viskoelastoplastičan materijal. Poseban naglasak je dat na istraživanje graničnih čvrstoća i deformacija ovih materijala. U prvom delu rada je dat kratak istorijski pregled klasičnih metoda proračuna poliedarskih ljuski. Na primeru jedne armiranobetonske poliedarske ljuske upoređeni su klasični postupci analize ovih konstrukcija sa savremenijim, numeričkim postupcima - metodom konačnih traka i metodom konačnih elemenata. Kako metod konačnih traka u slučaju poliedarskih ljuski najadekvatnije opisuje ove površinske nosače, uključujući njihove kontinualne uslove oslanjanja, u radu je detaljno opisana njegova primena na rešavanje linearno elastičnih problema poliedarskih ljuski u slučaju malih pomeranja, a dat je i kratak osvrt na stanje velikih ugiba. Na bazi reološkog modela viskoelastoplastičnog materijala, primenom reološko-dinamičke analogije (RDA), koju je predložio D. D. Milašinović, autorka rada izvodi reološko-dinamičke radne dijagrame betona i čelika, koji predstavljaju jednovremene parove napona i dilatacija. U radu je unapređen RDA postupak za određivanje graničnog (kritičnog) napona betonskih i armiranobetonskih stubova srednje vitkosti, čime je omogućena njegova primena i na stubove male vitkosti, u koje spadaju i standardni uzorci za ispitivanje čvrstoće betona na pritisak. Na ovaj način je omogućeno teorijsko određivanje radnih dijagrama betona različitih klasa iz minimalnog broja mehaničkih parametara materijala, koji se dobijaju standardnim postupcima ispitivanja. Ovako dobijeni teorijski reološko-dinamički radni dijagrami armature i betona su upoređeni sa rezultatima drugih autora, dobijenim u okviru njihovih eksperimentalnih istraživanja, te je konstatovana njihova zadovoljavajuća tačnost. Dijagrami su upoređeni i sa radnim dijagramima datim u trenutno važećim tehničkim propisima za beton i armirani beton, te je utvrđena njhova velika sličnost. Za dalju verifikaciju teorijskih reološko-dinamičkih radnih dijagrama armature i betona, kao ilustrativni primer je detaljno obrađena jedna realno izvodljiva armiranobetonska poliedarska ljuska. Na osnovu poređenja oblika dijagrama presečnih sila i pomeranja dobijenih linearno elastičnom analizom poliedarskih ljuski različitog raspona, zaključuje se da se granica između "kratkih" i "dugih" ljuski, za izabrani poprečni presek, nalazi između raspona L=10m i L=20m. Kako se kod ivične grede mogu javiti značajni momenti torzije (kako kod kratkih tako i kod dugih ljuski), koji mogu postati merodavni prilikom dimenzionisanja armiranobetonskog preseka grede, za dalju analizu je odabrana ljuska raspona L=20m, kod koje ovi momenti imaju minimalnu vrednost.Za sračunate presečne uticaje izvšeno je dimenzionisanje karakterističnih preseka ljuske prema PBAB'87. O ITIL por sua vez auxilia o processo de governanc?a, sendo utilizado para o gerenciamento de servic?os, o modelo visa garantia da eficie?ncia e efica?cia nos ni?veis de servic?o conforme as necessidades dos clientes. Como objetivo geral buscou-se avaliar os desafios para implantac?a?o da Governanc?a de Tecnologia da Informac?a?o em uma Instituic?a?o Educacional. A metodologia utilizada caracterizou a pesquisa como qualitativa, explorato?ria, descritiva, documental e estudo de caso. Os resultados demonstram que como parte da governanc?a corporativa, a Governanc?a de TI surge com a finalidade de fornecer garantias de que os investimentos em projetos de TI estara?o alinhados com a matriz estrate?gica da empresa. The role of Corporate Governance, from which Information Technology Governance is derived, is relevant to the success of a company, in view of involving decisions about the structure of organizations. ITIL in turn helps the governance process, being used for service management, the model aims to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness in service levels according to the needs of customers. As a general objective, we sought to evaluate the challenges for implementing Information Technology Governance in an Educational Institution. The methodology used characterized the research as qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, documentary and case study. The results demonstrate that as part of corporate governance, IT Governance arises with the purpose of providing guarantees that investments in IT projects will be aligned with the company's strategic matrix. This guarantee may be based on adequate control mechanisms and metrics that can allow management to assess the relationship between IT costs and their return to the institution, user satisfaction rates, efficiency of operations and meeting needs of business.
