V magistrskem delu smo raziskovali možnosti uporabe 4D BIM-modela med gradnjo zahtevnega infrastrukturnega objekta. Z namenom učinkovitejšega spremljanja gradnje infrastrukturnega objekta smo izboljšali obstoječ 4D BIM-model in razvili metodologijo za uporabo le-tega na gradbišču. Predlagano metodologijo smo eksperimentalno uporabili na gradbišču – projekt Podvoz Grlava na železniški progi Pragersko – Hodoš . Vrednotenje eksperimenta smo izvedli na podlagi podatkov pridobljenih od deležnikov gradbenega projekta. Za vrednotenje smo uporabili kvantitativno raziskavo s katero smo želeli analizirati vpliv uporabe 4D BIM-pristopa na različne aktivnosti v fazi gradnje objekta. Razen tega je izvedena analiza dala zanimive zaključke o uporabi in poznavanju BIM-a v slovenski gradbeni stroki.

In this thesis, we investigated possible applications of 4D BIM model during the construction of complex infrastructure. With a view to efficient monitoring of infrastructure facility construction, we improved the existing 4D BIM model and developed a methodology for its use on the site. The proposed methodology was experimentally used on the construction site - project Underpass Grlava on the railway line Pragersko - Hodoš. Evaluation of the experiment was carried out on the basis of information gathered from stakeholders of the construction project. For evaluation a quantitative survey was used with which the impact of the use of 4D BIM approach in various activities during the construction phase of the facility was analyzed. Beyond that, the analysis conducted has made interesting conclusions about the use and knowledge of BIM in the Slovenian civil engineering profession.
