No âmbito do Estágio Curricular, que integra as unidades curriculares contempladas no ciclo de estudos do Mestrado em Atividades de Fitness da Escola Superior de Desporto e Lazer, surge o Relatório de Estágio Final. O Estágio Curricular desenvolveu-se no Shape Fitness em Matosinhos e no Agraclub Fitness Center em Castelo da Maia, no ano letivo 2015/2016, de Outubro de 2015 a Abril de 2016, com objetivo de favorecer a integração e consolidação, no contexto da prática, dos conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos no 1º ano do Curso de Mestrado, através de uma prática supervisionada e orientada, com vista à profissionalização de professores de fitness. O presente relatório está estruturado em dois capítulos principais, ao longo dos quais serão descriminadas todas as informações inerentes aos locais de estágio e serão relatadas e refletidas todas as atividades desenvolvidas no Estágio Curricular. Durante o Estágio Curricular foram-me atribuídas diversas tarefas ao longo do tempo como Instrutora de Fitness. No Shape Fitness, nos primeiros dois meses, estive presente na sala de musculação, tendo já alguma autonomia pela frequência no ginásio antes do estágio iniciar, observei alguns treinos de personal trainer e lecionei algumas aulas de hidroginástica em regime de substituição. Quanto ao Agraclub, ao longo dos cinco meses seguintes, lecionei as aulas de grupo que me foram atribuídas, nomeadamente, global training, zumba, jump e cycle, substituí alguns professores em aulas de localizada e cycle, estive presente na sala de musculação e organizei o evento denominado “Mega Aula de Cycle”.

The Curricular Internship came to consolidate and link the different subjects of Fitness Activities Masters Course at Escola Superior de Desporto e Lazer and it gave rise to an Internship Final Report. The Curricular Internship was developed at Shape Fitness in Matosinhos and Agraclub Fitness Center in Castelo da Maia in the academic year of 2015/2016, from October 2015 to April 2016. The main objective was to promote the integration and consolidation of theoretical knowledge acquired in the 1st year of the Masters Course, in a practical context, through a supervised and guided practice leading to professionalize fitness teachers. This Internship Final Report is divided into two main chapters that have all the information regarding to the internship establishments and to the activities involved in the Curricular Internship. During the Curricular Internship multiple tasks were assigned to me over time like Fitness Instructor. In the first two months at Shape Fitness I was present in the weight room where I became easily independent because I had been going often to the gym previously, I noticed some personal trainers training and I taught some water aerobics classes in replacement scheme. As for Agraclub, over the next five months, I started the internship teaching group classes that I have been assigned, in particular global training, zumba, jump and cycling, also replaced some teachers, I was present in the weight room and I held an event…

Introdução - A relação da atividade física e da alimentação com a saúde é estudada há muitos anos e os resultados confirmam que a prática regular de exercício físico e uma alimentação equilibrada atuam diretamente na prevenção de doenças. Objetivo - Identificar os fatores associados ao comportamento alimentar dos frequentadores de academias de ginástica do município de Taubaté, SP, segundo idade, gênero e estado nutricional. Métodos - Estudo transversal, quantitativo e com uma amostra não probabilística, constituída por 160 frequentadores de academias do município de Taubaté-SP. Para a obtenção dos dados utilizou-se questionário padronizado de múltipla escolha com questões demográficas, socioeconômicas, comportamentais, nutricionais e sobre saúde; o teste Como está a sua alimentação? do Guia Alimentar de bolso do Ministério da Saúde; o Questionário Internacional de Atividade Física IPAQ; e para avaliação do estado nutricional, informações do peso e da altura para cálculo do IMC (índice de massa corporal) e aferição de dobras cutâneas para a estimativa do percentual de gordura corporal ( por cento GC). Empregou-se análise descritiva, teste do qui-quadrado de Pearson para avaliar associação e análise de cluster. Resultados - A idade média dos frequentadores é de 39,4 anos (DP = ±13,1 anos). Há uma predominância do gênero feminino, alto grau de escolaridade e elevada renda familiar. O IMC médio é de 25,5 kg/m², a maioria encontra-se eutrófico e apresenta por cento GC normal. Fazem uso de complementos nutricionais e os mais jovens consomem os proteicos e BCAA, enquanto os mais velhos as vitaminas e minerais. No teste Como está sua alimentação? 59,4 por cento apresentavam alimentação saudável. A alimentação não se apresentou equilibrada em todos os grupos, segundo recomendação do Guia Alimentar. A maioria relata se preocupar com a composição da alimentação e refere ter mudado algo na dieta nos últimos meses. E em relação à hidratação, 48,8 por cento relata ingerir 500 ml de água durante o período das atividades na academia. Os motivos citados para a realização de exercícios físicos são saúde, prazer e controle de peso. E para o nível de atividade física, segundo o IPAQ, os frequentadores foram classificados a partir irregularmente ativo A. Conclusão - O presente estudo permitiu identificar que a idade e o estado nutricional estão associados a pratica de atividade física (frequência, modalidade, motivação), e a fatores relacionados à dieta, como o uso de complemento, a hidratação e a qualidade da alimentação. Frequentar academias não assegurou o comportamento alimentar adequado desses indivíduos de Taubaté.

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar e analisar o grau de competitividade do setor de academias de ginástica e musculação de Santa MariaRS. O estudo traz um embasamento analítico do Modelo da Competitividade de Porter (1986), das cinco forças competitivas, das pequenas e médias empresas e do setor de academias de ginástica e musculação, caracterizando-se como quantitativo, descritivo e de estudo de campo. Os dados utilizados na análise e interpretação desta pesquisa foram obtidos através de respostas a um questionário aplicado aos gerentes/administradores das empresas relacionadas no cadastro de Contribuintes de Alvará, da SMIC - Secretária de Indústria e Comércio da Prefeitura Municipal de Santa Maria-RS. Através destes dados verificou-se que estas empresas são predominantemente PMEs, a sua forma de administração é basicamente familiar, a maioria foi criada a menos de 05 anos e tem como preocupação primeira a busca por soluções para seus problemas operacionais internos. Entre as forças competitivas atuantes no setor, o poder de barganha dos clientes é considerada a mais forte, pois existe no mercado uma sensibilidade muito grande quanto aos preços praticados pelas empresas e quanto à localização das academias. Apesar de não identificarem barreiras ao ingresso de novas empresas no mercado, a habilidade de manter os preços praticados, pela curva de aprendizagem, é destacada como o meio de permanecer no setor. A intensidade da rivalidade entre os concorrentes existentes é percebida como alta e atribuída ao grande número de empresas semelhantes trabalhando sem diferenciação. Por não possuírem um grande volume de compras e por nenhum fornecedor ter uma forte participação no fornecimento de insumos e equipamentos, não há, no setor, condições dos fornecedores exercerem um poder maior de negociação. O surgimento de serviços substitutos não traz preocupação às empresas, não havendo pesquisas sistemáticas para a sua identificação. Entre as estratégias competitivas genéricas descritas por Porter, a maioria respondeu que utiliza a de diferenciação, tendo feito investimentos para melhorar sua posição competitiva e normalmente procura se ajustar ao mercado ao invés de tentar influenciá-lo ou de se antecipar às movimentações competitivas do setor. Ao final da pesquisa concluiu-se que a não percepção pelos clientes de diferenciação entre os serviços prestados pelas academias de ginástica e musculação de Santa Maria é o principal desafio a ser enfrentado pelas empresas. A busca por soluções para o estabelecimento de uma mais rápida e efetiva visualização da diferenciação de seus serviços perante a concorrência exige ações no sentido da profissionalização da gestão, da definição e adoção de uma estratégia competitiva adequada e da criação de uma entidade de classe local
