O heavy metal é um dos gêneros mais antigos dentro do universo musical do rock and roll. No decorrer das últimas quatro décadas, o heavy metal transcendeu o âmbito estritamente musical, tornando-se uma manifestação cultural mundializada, em torno da qual se construiu uma cadeia midiática específica, que inclui, entre outros elementos, publicações especializadas. Um desses títulos segmentados é o objeto desta pesquisa, a revista mensal Rock Brigade, editada em São Paulo desde 1982. Este trabalho busca compreender como a representação do heavy metal produzida pela revista Rock Brigade pode levar à formação de uma identidade para este gênero musical e seus apreciadores. Para isso, são analisados os sentidos produzidos nos discursos de entrevistados, jornalistas e leitores presentes na publicação. Filiada à perspectiva construcionista do jornalismo, esta pesquisa utiliza os Estudos Culturais britânicos como referencial teórico para pensar as questões referentes à representação e a identidades. O suporte metodológico do trabalho é dado pela Análise de Discurso de tradição francesa. Nesta pesquisa, foram analisadas seis edições da revista Rock Brigade, com intervalo de quatro meses entre cada uma, cobrindo o período de junho de 2005 a março de 2007, totalizando 198 textos que resultaram em 309 seqüências discursivas. A análise revelou que os sentidos presentes em quatro formações discursivas – “a comunidade dos diferentes”, “os batalhadores”, “os reverentes à tradição” e “os seres das trevas” – constroem uma representação do heavy metal como um gênero musical absolutamente distinto dos demais. Essa delimitação torna o heavy metal um espaço simbólico singular com o qual os membros de sua comunidade de apreciadores podem se identificar.

Heavy metal is one of the oldest genres inside of the musical universe of the rock and roll. In elapsing of last the four decades, heavy metal exceeded the strictly musical scope, becoming a worldwide cultural manifestation, around which it was built a specific media chain, that includes, among other elements, specialized publications. One of those publications is the subject of this study, the monthly magazine Rock Brigade, published in São Paulo since 1982. This study searches to understand as the representation of heavy metal produced by the magazine Rock Brigade can take to the formation of an identity for this musical genre and its fans. For this, it is analyzed the meanings produced in the discourses of interviewees, journalists and readers that can be found in the publication. Joined to the constructionist perspective of the journalism, this study uses the British Cultural Studies as theoretic reference to think the questions about the representation and identities. The methodological support of the study is given by the Discourse Analysis of French tradition. ▼ En brotyp som är vanlig bland brokonstruktioner är plattrambron. Denna brotyp byggs både med slak- och spännarmering. Det är dock vanligare att bygga med slakarmering än spännarmering, vilket övervägs särskilt då spännvidderna är ungefär 25- 30 meter eller mer. Inledningsvis har en noggrann litteraturstudie genomförts tillsammans med en intervju av en kunnig brokonstruktör för att säkerställa en interaktion mellan teori och aktuell praxis. Detta arbete har haft ett huvudmål, vilket är att ur ett struktur- och kostnadsperspektiv jämföra och utvärdera hur behovet av slakarmering varierar i en plattrambros farbana då spännvidder varieras och betongtvärsnitt ändras. Arbetet har utförts med hjälp av finita elementprogrammet ”Brigade Standard”, vilket erbjuder en tre-dimensionell strukturanalys. Fyra olika tvärsnitt för spännvidder mellan 10-20 meter analyseras. Dimensioner på brodelar bestäms med hjälp av tumregler samt generella råd från intervjuperson; höjd i fält enligt L/20, L/25, L/30 samt L/35, där L är spännvidden. Resultatet visar främst att för ökade spännvidder mot 20 meter ökar lasteffekten på grund av egentyngd drastiskt och då särskilt det tvärsnitt som är störst, det vill säga L/20. Vidare visas även att slankare tvärsnitt resulterar i aningen högre armeringsmängd. Dock påverkas betongkostnaden i större utsträckning av slankare tvärsnitt och särskilt större spännvidder. Även om större spännvidd och slankare tvärsnitt föranleder ett större armeringsbehov, fås en lägre totalkostnad. Det bör noteras att priset på betong och stål är starkt beroende av konjunktur och tillgång till material. Denna studie kan bli ännu intressantare då priset varierar kraftigt för stål och föranleder att betongpriset blir mindre dominerande än vad det är idag. Huvudprodukten från detta arbete är att med hjälp av tabeller och nya priser kunna beräkna en preliminär totalkostnad för plattrambrons farbana för olika spännvidder och hur olika tvärsnittsalternativ påverkar denna kostnad.

▼ Resumen El origen de esta tesis doctoral se basa en la tesis de fin de Máster en Lenguas y Literaturas que realicé en la Universitat de València durante el curso 2011-2012. Dicha tesis se centraba en el legado poético escrito en inglés en España por los brigadistas miembros de la XV Brigada Internacional durante la Guerra Civil Española. Una vez establecido el estado de la cuestión, nos volcamos por un lado en la bibliografía al respecto, con la intención de revisar las ediciones y antologías donde estos poemas hubieran sido publicados, y por otro, en el contexto histórico en que esa poesía fue publicada. La antología recogida en esa tesis contenía una selección de poemas escritos por brigadistas durante su participación en la guerra como fuerzas de choque integradas en el ejército gubernamental. Algunos poemas fueron incluidos en antologías, otros publicados en periódicos de ideología de izquierda o en la prensa de las brigadas internacionales. Cada uno de los poemas iba acompañado de su traducción correspondiente, a veces nuestra, otras realizada por otros traductores; una breve biografía del poeta brigadista, datos sobre la publicación del poema y un breve comentario sobre el mismo. Esta tesis doctoral ha ampliado y desarrollado el estudio previo del TFM, profundizado en los análisis estilísticos de los poemas y añadiendo dos grupos más de poetas, el Retrospective y el Abroad. El grupo Retrospective recoge los poemas escritos por los brigadistas, periodistas y el personal médico, traductores y administrativos, una vez regresaron a sus países de origen, algunos poco tiempo después, y otros escritos años después de acabada la guerra. El grupo Abroad contiene los poemas escritos por intelectuales que apoyaron a la Republica Española desde el exterior. La investigación se divide en ocho partes precedidas de la introducción y seguidas de un anexo en el que se recogen los datos bibliográficos referentes a los tres grupos de poetas y la información referente a las fechas de publicación de los poemas, y por el índice de tablas, gráficas y relación de fotografías e ilustraciones. La relación de capítulos es la siguiente: 1) Metodología y procedimientos. 2) La Intervención de las Brigadas Internacionales: La respuesta a un falso tratado de no intervención. 3) Un mar de papel: La prensa internacional en la guerra española. 4) Influencias literarias. 5) Corpus de la antología y análisis estilísticos. 6) Evidencias, resultados representados en tablas y gráficas y análisis comparativo de estos resultados. 7) Conclusión 8) Bibliografía. ▼ Concrete girder bridges are a commonly used type of bridge which can be reinforced withboth regular and post-tensioned reinforcement. At a certain span length, the use of tensionreinforcement becomes a must because regular reinforcement won’t be enough. To get anidea of where this boundary lies, we studied a bridge in this research which is a half-throughbridge intended for railway traffic with the use of post-tensioned reinforcements. Thisbridge has a span of 22,15 metres and it is compared to bridges at the same span andshorter span using regular reinforcements. The analysis in this thesis is made using the finiteelementsprogram Brigade Standard.Two previously executed projects are used as references. A literature study will be carriedout initially, where Eurocodes, old examination projects and other literature on tensionreinforcement are examined.The acquired result is that the tension-reinforced bridge relates to a bridge with about 3/4span with regards to torque over the middle support. The torque over the support is thelimiting factor which causes an exponential increase in the amount of reinforcement atlonger spans. At about 20 metres the amount of necessary reinforcement starts to increaseexponentially and above this span post-tensioning is the preferred method.Torsion at the end support is also a crucial parameter since a regular-reinforced bridge with20-metre span cannot be reinforced to handle this with the current geometry. At a 20-metrespan, actions are therefore required to improve the torsion capacity, for example, increasingthe girder width. This increased girder width could be considered a saving in materials dueto the avoided increment of concrete in the case of tension-reinforced design, where thisincreased width is unnecessary.The total amount of reinforcement, independent of the reinforcement type, is greater in themiddle support of the regular reinforced bridge than the tension reinforced with the samespan. However, the total amount of reinforcement over the entire bridge is higher in thetension reinforced alternative.The result also shows that the tension reinforcement increases the compression force in thebridge and eliminates tension cracks which were expected according to our literature study.

Concrete slabs used in thepulp and paper industries are often situated outdoors, which means that theslabs are exposed to temperature variations due to different weatherconditions. These temperature variations together with operational temperaturesassociated with the manufacturing process, may introduce high temperaturegradients in the concrete. It is believed that the combination of these thermalloads have resulted in cracking in a slender concrete slab.The aim of this degree project has been to determine if the combination ofseasonal temperature and operational temperature is sufficient to introduce thetype of cracking seen in-situ in the concrete slab of a factory in Sundsvall,400 km north of Stockholm. This was achieved by simulating the development ofcracks in a slender concrete slab exposed to thermal loads using finite elementanalysis (FEA). In order to determine the accuracy of the model, the resultswere compared and evaluated against a crack mapping produced by Sweco. Furthersimulations were also carried out, in order to investigate if continuedcracking would occur beyond the time span of the Sweco investigation.The material model Concrete damage plasticity (CDP) in BRIGADE/Plus and Abaquswas used to predict the crack pattern and crack width in the concrete slab.Linear-elastic and non-linear material properties were used in the modelling ofthe concrete slab. The linear-elastic model indicated that thermal variationshowed significant risk of cracking. Thereafter, non-linear material propertieswere used in the modelling process. The cracking was simulated using ambienttemperature data and operational temperatures from the production plant.The results showed that cracking started when thermal loads were introduced tothe model. The ambient seasonal temperature alone was not enough to introducethe type of cracking seen in-situ on the slab. The combination of seasonalambient temperature and operational temperature was needed, in order for cracksto develop in the concrete slab. The results also indicated that the crackswill propagate further, but this can only be confirmed by performing additionalcrack mapping on site.

Esta pesquisa aborda a atuação do 4° BPAF – Batalhão de Polícia de Área de Fronteira da Brigada Militar no policiamento na Fronteira Noroeste do RS, frente aos crimes transfronteiriços e transnacionais praticados pelas redes de criminosos. A Brigada Militar não possui atribuição legal para atuar frente aos crimes transnacionais que demandam o trabalho de inteligência, envolvendo investigações de redes criminosas internacionais que ultrapassam a linha de fronteira. Na prática, devido a limitações e à falta de efetivo dos Órgãos Federais de segurança na fronteira, a Brigada Militar vem atuando contra estes tipos de crimes. E casos específicos quando o crime é de cunho transnacional o 4° Batalhão de Polícia de Área de Fronteira da Brigada Militar atende pedidos da Polícia Federal e Receita Federal, realizando operações ao longo da Fronteira Noroeste com prisões de contrabandistas, traficantes de drogas e abigeatários. O policiamento do 4°BPAF da Brigada Militar evoluiu ao longo dos anos, passando de simples patrulhas rurais para patrulhas operacionais especializadas em Fronteira. Com a atuação dos criminosos na região da fronteira em crimes transfronteiriços que se tornaram corriqueiros, o comando do 4°BPAF criou o POE- Pelotão de Operações Especiais para atuar nas patrulhas na fronteira. A partir de 2012 o Governo Federal lança o PEF-Plano Estratégico de Fronteira e a ENAFRON- Estratégia Nacional de Fronteira investindo em viaturas, equipamentos, formação e treinamento de recursos humanos para as Organizações Policiais Militares dos estados da federação na Faixa de Fronteira O estado do Rio Grande do Sul aderiu a esse programa da ENAFRON e não demorou muito para o Alto Comando e o Estado Maior da Brigada Militar elaborarem a Diretriz Geral de Segurança Pública em Área de Fronteira N°26/2012 que foi atualizada pela Diretriz de Policiamento em Áreas de Fronteiras N°034/2015. Também ocorreu nesta época um incremento na realização de operações conjuntas da Brigada Militar, tanto com órgãos Federais de segurança pública e com Exército Brasileiro, como em operações Simultâneas Internacionais com a Polícia de Misiones e a Gendarmeria Nacional Argentina, estreitando assim os laços entre as polícias da Argentina e a Brigada Militar. Este trabalho aborda as técnicas de investigação usadas pelo 4° BPAF da Brigada Militar em sua Atividade de Inteligência e modus operandi no combate aos criminosos na Fronteira Noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul. ▼ Over time people´s way of life has changed and thus the use of existing structures. There is a considerable value in continuing to use these structures and adapt them to today´s needs. In recent decades, the bike has a more significant role in everyday life, which requires a secure and highly available infrastructure. The town of Sundsvall has expressed a desire to explore the possibility of moving traffic lanes on Alnö Bridge to make way for a wider sidewalk. Transport Administration has ordered an investigation of the load carrying capacity of Alnö Bridge to evaluate if it is possible to adapt the existing bridge to today ´s needs as well as to check its current status.The Alnö Bridge was built in the 1960´s and connects the island Alnön with the mainland just north of Sundsvall. It is built as a Freivorbau bridge in prestressed concrete. Calculations are in this report performed to evaluate the sectional forces in the bridge. This is done using the finite element method, where the focus is on how the prestressed concrete is covered in a finite element model. Recently use of the finite element method has increased for analysis of structures because it provides a more accurate description of reality. For this reason it may be possible to increase the load carrying capacity of a structure, which is examined in this thesis by performing a comparison of the sectional forces calculated by the displacement method.For this reason it is possible to increase the resistance of a structure, which is examined in this thesis by performing a comparison of sectional forces calculated by the displacement method.The results demonstrate lower sectional forces in all the finite element models in comparison with the model performed with the displacement method. This indicates that a higher load carrying capacity can be achieved by using the finite element method. The results show up to 17 % lower results for bending moment, 13 % for lateral forces and 23 % regarding torque.Stress concentrations have been identified at the connection between the web and the bridge deck, where the longitudinal, transversal and vertical prestressed tendons interact. The results show that local stress concentrations occur in the concrete with tensile stresses up to 5,517 MPa, which is higher than the tensile strength of most concrete classes. The evaluation of these stress concentrations has been limited and a more thorough investigation is necessary before it may be possible to use them for designing purposes.The expectations when the thesis was started were to be able to take into account the large amount of prestressed tendons in a detailed manner. Due to the fact that the finite element programs was not built to calculate the time dependent prestress losses that occur in the prestressed tendons, time consuming manual calculations were required. This means that the effects of performing a detailed finite element model became less important. Abstract When Eurocodes was introduced, there was a requirement where the calculations had to take into consideration whether it's a slab or beam bridge. This means that calculations had to be made with softwares including plate theory. The object of this study is a slab bridge with endshields. The bridge is 66.95 meters long with a 14.38-meter-wide deck made of concrete. The deck is mounted on abutments with bearings and intermediate supports where the columns are fixed to the deck. The purpose of this study is to investigate if bridges defined as plates can be calculated using beam theory, as well as examining different modeling techniques in an attempt to evaluate how this will affect the results. A model using shell elements is established in BRIGADE/Plus and compared to a model in Strip Step 3 made out of beam elements. A base-model is also created in BRIGADE/Plus and is compared to the following modeling changes: Couplings between supports and the plate, “point to surface” or “point to point”.The bridge is modeled without wings to study the impact of the wings.The bridge is modeled without columns to study the impact of the columns. When comparing the values obtained from the two different software’s regarding deadweight, the results were almost identical. This indicates that Strip Step 3 is a suitable tool for verifying models made in BRIGADE/Plus. When studying the results from load-combination 6.10.b (the combination used for dimensioning) small differences can be seen between the softwares. This concludes that it may be reasonable to use Strip Step 3 for this type of bridges. However, there are major differences between the software at the traffic load which should be considered. In order to simplify the modeling process ties between points (nodes) should be used. However, the results obtained over the supports must be ignored due to unrealistic values. When studying the impact of wings/columns it was confirmed that a difference of 10 % appeared. Modeling without wings/columns is not more time efficient either, with that in mind wings and columns should be used when modeling. ▼ This is a qualitative exploratory study of the Green Brigade ultras of Celtic Football Club. Using mixed methods of semi-structured interviews, participant observation and desk-based research, it examines the group's activities, political culture, and experiences of policing. This study aims to provide a broad overview of the group, while also exploring areas such as policing and political culture in more detail. All interviews were audio recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analysed to uncover a variety of themes, amongst them key activities, policing, political education, anti-fascism, attitudes to sexism, and the influence of Irish Republicanism. The thesis draws upon theories of culture, subculture, social movements, radical pedagogy, ethnographies and studies of ultras, gender and football research, as well as studies of the Irish immigrant experience in Scotland, and specifically the role of Celtic as an expression of Irish identity. The Findings show a group with diverse political positions, but united under a common banner of anti-discrimination politics, and a broad commitment to Irish Republicanism. Within stadia, the highly visual elements of ultra culture are used to express these politics. Outside the stadia, the group undertakes various political activities, with an emphasis on inclusivity and grassroots organising. Criminalisation and policing feature prominently, with the group's activities with their collective culture being affected as a result. The implications of this study are several. It shows how a highly visible section of the Irish community in Scotland expresses a contentious sense of Irishness, and the consequences of this, both in terms of policing, and upon the group's culture. Questions of political organising, learning, discussion and outreach offer lessons to other groups and individuals involved in social activism. It is also offers an in-depth study of an ultra group, and contributes to the literature on this fascinating, and often highly political, subculture.

Depuis la chute du Mur de Berlin en 1989, l'Union Européenne s'affirme sur le devant de la scène mondiale en s'appuyant sur sa formidable économie. Pourtant, sa politique étrangère commune n'est pas à la mesure de sa taille économique. Sa sécurité est assurée par l'OTAN et des efforts contradictoires se manifestent pour une politique étrangère commune. La construction européenne ne sera complète qu'avec une armée européenne sous une unique bannière. Les crises successives au voisinage de l'Europe rassemblent les europoliticiens qui décident de créer des forces armées trans-européennes avec un mandat clair et avec l'aval de l'OTAN pour éviter le dispersement inutile des ressources capacitaires euro-atlantiques afin de participer aux missions de l'ONU dans la sécurité mondiale. Les efforts du maintien capacitaire de l'Union Européenne entrainent le développement de l'économie industrielle militaire et civile grâce aux innovations duales, sur laquelle s'appuie la politique coercitive de l'Union Européenne.

Since the fall of the Berlin's Wall in 1989, the European Union asserts its leading role in the world through its tremendous economy. But its common foreign policy does not have the size of its economy. lts security is ensured by NATO and the contradictory objectives are embodied in the common foreign policy. The European construction will be complete only when it will have its integrated army under a single banner. The successive crises gather the European lawmakers who decide to create trans-European armed forces with a clear mandate and with the consent of NATO to avoid the dispersal of euro-Atlantic strategic resources in order to participate in the missions of UN in the world's security. The efforts to build up the EU's strength promote the large military and civil economic increases of industrial dual innovations. And the European coercive policy bases on these behalf.

The Vindel river railway bridge is located outside of Vindeln. The bridge is a concrete arch bridge with a total length of 226 m. It was built in 1952 and was originally constructed to carry an axle load of 25 tons but has been classified to carry 22.5 tons until a couple of years ago when the allowed axle load was increased to 25.0 tons. In 1997 the bridge was investigated and cracks were found in the sections closest to the crown, movements were also noticed when trains passed by, which led to further investigations. The bridge has been the subject to two earlier reports, Bennitz (2006) and He et al (2005). Complab at LTU made measurements on the bridge and Bennitz evaluated these in order to find the eigenfrequencies and their correlating eigenmodes. He’s work resulted in FE-models with which he analysed the bridge. The purpose with this report is to continue where Bennitz and He left of and to continue the analysis in order to find out more about the dynamic behavior of the bridge. Creating a new FE-model and evaluating new measurements was a part of this but unfortunately the measuring was delayed and the analysis of those results will be presented in a report by Ola Enochsson. From the FEM-analysis that has been performed ten eigenmodes with frequencies up to 7 Hz was identified, the nine that Bennitz found and one more to add. The frequencies found are relatively close to the earlier measurements. The static deflections of the bridge have been simulated with Brigade using loads representing the heaviest test train, BV-3 in three different positions on the bridge. The initial deflection based on the self weight of the bridge was 8.3 mm and the largest deflections from the different train loads were 2.0 mm, 2.0 mm and 8.0 mm. The dynamic live load effect has also been simulated. For the dynamic analysis have the load from three different trains have been evaluated, the trains are BV-3, D-2 and the steel train. These trains have been simulated for velocities between 50-120 km/h with the interval 10. The largest deflections from the dynamic live load analysis are when the train is positioned covering half the bridge, and they are 8.3 mm for BV-3 in the speed 80 km/h, 6.6 mm for D-2 travelling in the speed of 90 km/h and for the steel train 6.5 mm at the speed of 90 km/h. The values from the dynamic live load compared to the values from the static live load test are almost the same as for the largest deflection. This indicates that the bridge does not swing with its eigenmodes for the velocities tested.

▼ Although the First World War has been characterized as a formative event in Canadian History, little attention has been paid to a neglected and often forgotten arm of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, the Cavalry. The vast majority of Great War historians have ignored the presence of mounted troops on the Western Front, or have written off the entire cavalry arm with a single word – ‘obsolete.’ However, the Canadian Cavalry Brigade and the Canadian Light Horse remained on the Western Front throughout the Great War because cavalry still had a role to play in modern warfare. This thesis addresses the expected role of Cavalry in the Great War, and the role that Canadian Cavalry was able to play on the Western Front between 1914 and 1918. Cavalry was an arm of exploitation and protection. The primary responsibilities assigned to the mounted arm were reconnaissance, shock, and pursuit. Cavalry was never expected to perform mass charges through entrenchments. Rather, it was expected to use its superior mobility to perform reconnaissance, delaying actions, and pursue the retreating enemy. Cavalry also had several important roles to play in rear areas, such as traffic control, escort duties, mounted police work, and any duties that required the mobility of a mounted force. A thorough examination of the role of cavalry in operations and in reserve reveals that Canadian Cavalry was able to perform as expected on the Western Front according to prewar doctrine. When mobility was possible, Cavalry was tactically effective on a local scale, conducting pursuit, delay, and reconnaissance with great effect. When the Front was stagnant, cavalry was still capable of fulfilling its intended role in rear areas. Cavalry was valuable on the Western Front because of its superior mobility, as mounted troops were capable of arriving at a decisive point of action quickly without exhausting men or resources, and could advance where other vehicles could not. Despite conditions on the modern battlefield, Canadian Cavalry still had a role to play on the Western Front.

▼ This study interrogates the stories and legends of six soldiers who served in the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry during the First World War, and the ways in which they described their primary occupation as soldiers, killing enemy combatants. It asks a fundamentally important question; how and why do men kill at war? Soldiers tended to narrate their descriptions of killing from the perspective of an innocuous reporter, and downplay their agency in the killing act. They also, often, framed their descriptions of killing in terms of revenge for the loss of comrades, or atrocities committed by the enemy. Alternatively, love for those same men and the love of women was given as the primary motivation for wanting to “stick it” at the front. Talbot Papineau breaks trench warfare down into three categories or “facts:” incidental, defensive, and offensive fighting. Killing existed in each of these categories, on a sliding scale of safety for the individual soldier, with incidental trench warfare being the safest and offensive warfare the most dangerous. Across all of these categories an important factor in triggering hot-blooded killing rage, what Shay called a “berserk state,” was a soldier’s perception of a betrayal of “what is right” or thémis by those who commanded them. When a soldier felt that something truly unfair had happened to him, he was much more likely to seek out contact with the enemy. Cold-blooded killing, that which epitomized the sniper’s role during incidental fighting was presented in terms of familiar civilian pursuits that took on a different meaning during the war. Chief amongst them were hunting, working, and playing the game. The metaphor of the show was also an important way to describe battles with a familiar and innocuous phrase, and it had deep significance to the soldier’s understanding of themselves in battle. First World War soldiers tended to characterize the killing with conspicuous silences and often sought to distance themselves, rhetorically, from the topic. As such the final two case-studies – those of J.W. “Jack” McLaren and V.F. Gianelli – will look at how men could write about their service with the front-line infantry without giving details of their primary occupation. This work attempts to look behind the curtain of soldiers’ stories that have been enshrined in the official narrative of the PPCLI and inquire into what can be known about those parts of their stories that the men avoided telling, elucidating a fuller picture of their experiences and understanding of their legend.

▼ In an international comparison, Berlin had slightly above average levels of fires and the number of victims of fire in 1997-2015. In national comparison, the values were very high. The Berlin Fire Brigade fought an average of 11,861 fires during the investigation period. Material and method: For the years 1997 to 2015, 5,471 fires with 18,117 burn victims were evaluated retrospectively. The burning time was examined after years, months hours and hours clusters. The local distribution of the fires was examined in terms of boroughs and districts. The distribution of the fires on the affected fire objects and their use was evaluated. A sample of 89 sections was evaluated by sex, age, time, type of fire, location and cause of death. Results: 9,436 (52%) of all victims were "brought to safety", 8,186 (45%) were "smoke-poisoned / injured" and 495 (3%) were "lifeless" persons. The annual distribution of the three categories of victims showed significant fluctuations. The number of fires and fire victims was highest in December and January. Tuesday, with 16.4% of the victims, had the highest value of all days of the week. Sunday had the highest value in the victim category "lifeless persons". From 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, 58% of the victims were registered. The distribution of fires in the spatial reference borough and district did not give a systematic pattern. Individual boroughs and districts regularly showed high numbers of victims. The fires with victims of fire occurred to 83.4% in the living area. The object group "Senior Citizens' Home, Retirement Home" was represented with higt values of 479 victims of all victim categories and 4.2 victims per fire. A sample of 89 sectional reports of victims of fire showed an average age of 61.3 years. In 78% "home fire" was stated as the triggering event. Exposure to smoke was the leading cause of death. Discussion: In times of night's sleep spent at home, most victims of fire were killed. The victims died in a familiar environment in which the potential escape routes were known. Theoretically, those affected had a good chance of escaping from the fire. In practice, there were predominantly no or only rudimentary escape activities. An early warning to improve the escape options can be achieved by smoke detectors. Information campaigns to reduce the victims of fire are useful for seniors, the population in particularly affected districts and heavily affected fire objects in the living area. Improved fire statistics according to DIN 14011 could reach further starting points for fire prevention. Recent research into the smart home with comprehensive information provision for the Fire Brigade and active controls on smoke and fire management components in homes could improve the chances of survival. V magistrskem delu smo v teoretičnem delu opredelili pomembne termine, kot so prostovoljstvo, prostovoljec in organizirano prostovoljstvo, predstavili glavne motive prostovoljnega udejstvovanja mladih, na kratko preleteli zgodovino razvoja prostovoljstva v Sloveniji, predstavili prostovoljno množično delo in večje organizirane skupine mladih prostovoljcev oziroma mladinske delovne brigade in akcije, ki so bile aktualne po 2. svetovni vojni, ter s tem predstavili pomen brigadirstva, ki se v podobni različici pojavlja še danes. Nato smo predstavili Študentsko organizacijo Univerze v Mariboru, organizacijo, ki se že vrsto let ukvarja s prostovoljstvom in organiziranjem različnih prostovoljnih projektov. Temu sledi predstavitev njenega največjega prostovoljnega projekta, Študentske delovne brigade, ki ga v nalogi vrednotimo. Poglavje je namenjeno predstavitvi projekta, namena, ciljev, poslanstva, poteka organiziranja in izvedbe projekta. Prav tako poglavje vključuje zgodovinski pregled vseh organiziranih študentskih delovnih brigad in predstavitev pomembnih dosežkov projekta. Empirični del je namenjen preučitvi in ovrednotenju mnenj, stališč in videnj deležnikov naše raziskave, ki je kvalitativne narave, saj smo za metodo uporabili standardiziran intervju. Izvedli smo 15 intervjujev s predstavniki občin in domačini, ki so sodelovali pri izvedbi projekta Študentska delovna brigada, in sicer smo za vsako leto in kraj, v katerem je bila organizirana brigada, kontaktirali eno osebo in z njo izvedli intervju. Na podlagi pridobljenih mnenj, stališč in videnj smo preverjali 9 hipotez. Rezultati so pokazali, da imajo naši intervjuvanci pozitivno mnenje o projektu, izrazili so zadovoljstvo z opravljenim delom udeležencev in organizatorja projekta, prepoznali pozitivne učinke projekta na posameznika in lokalno skupnost in niso navedli sprememb, ki bi po njihovem mnenju bile bistvene in potrebne v okviru projekta, kar vidimo kot razloge za upravičenje izvajanja samega projekta tudi v prihodnje. Prav tako so intervjuvanci v okviru projekta prepoznali podobne vrednote, ki jih kot cilje projekta opredeljujejo tudi organizatorji, kar nakazuje na to, da se poslanstvo projekta uresničuje.

In the theoretical part of this master's thesis, we have defined important terms, such as volunteerism, volunteer and organized volunteerism, presented main motives of youth volunteer participation, briefly gone through the history of how volunteerism developed in Slovenia, presented mass volunteer work and bigger organised groups of young volunteers and youth work brigades and actions which took place after the Second World War, thus presenting the significance of volunteerism which appears in today’s times in a similar variation. We have then presented the Student Organization of University of Maribor, an organization which has been active in volunteering and organising different volunteer projects for a number of years. De la Deffence, et illustration de la langue françoyse (1549) au tombeau de Ronsard réuni par Binet (1586), la sociabilité littéraire mise en scène dans quelque trois cents recueils d’environ soixante-dix poètes est envisagée comme le support de constructions identitaires à la fois collectives et individuelles. En effet, le foisonnement des pièces de contact valorise l’émulation lettrée et donne de la visibilité à l’émergence d’un « champ poétique » où le positionnement de chacun est fait, tout à la fois, d’identification à des groupes et de différenciation pour défendre un style singulier. L’identité valorisée collectivement est celle de « Poète ». Dans un élan commun et à la suite de Marot, il s’agit de donner tout son prestige à ce « mestier » – dont la visibilité est favorisée par la publication imprimée – ainsi que de convaincre les grands de son utilité politique. L’étiquette fédératrice se subdivise en identités collectives aux contours plus restreints, par exemple autour d’un genre pratiqué (les « Amours »), autour d’une langue (« poëtes françoys »), ou encore autour d’une implantation géographique (les poètes du Clain, les poètes gascons, etc.). Ce morcellement s’accompagne de tentatives de classements de valeur. Cela provoque des mouvements d’humeur (des poètes de province contre le milieu parisien naissant, par exemple), voire des conflits (poètes nouveaux contre poètes vieux, poètes chrétiens contre poètes païens, etc.), ainsi qu’une démultiplication des figures de chefs de file. Dans le même temps, chaque auteur essaie de faire valoir sa singularité, notamment en développant l’ethos du poète solitaire ou du poète mélancolique, et s’attache à ouvrir des voies nouvelles, dans un mouvement collectif de valorisation de l’originalité. Entrent ainsi en tension la structure pyramidale hiérarchique et l’affirmation d’un droit à la différence qui rend inclassable.

From the Deffence, et illustration de la langue françoyse (1549) to Ronsard's tomb texts collected by Binet in 1586, the literary sociability depicted in some three hundred volumes of poetry gathering together about seventy poets is regarded as the mean to construct identities both collective and individual. Indeed the flurry of common topics is at the origin of a literary emulation and makes the emergence of a "poetic field" noticeable; so the position of each poet is both defined with an identification to groups or with a differentiation to defend their proper styles.Being "a poet" is the identity collectively valued. Altogether on Marot's tracks, the point is to make this "craft" prestigious - printed publication makes it visible - and to convince the greats of its political importance. The unifying label is subdivided in collective identities with restricted outlines like a popular topic (the "Amours"), a language ("poëtes françoys") or eventually a location (the poets from the river Clain, the Gascon poets, etc).
