Darbo objektas – padangos riedėjimo pasipriešinimo koeficientas, jo reikšmės kitimas, esant skirtingiems padangos, apkrovos, ir atraminio paviršiaus parametrams. Tyrimas atliktas naudojant BELCHINA 7.50L – 16 ФБел – 253 padangą. Darbo metodai: padangos tyrimams atlikti buvo suprojektuotas ir pagamintas mobilus stendas, kuris buvo tvirtinamas prie savaeigės važiuoklės T–16M. Darbo rezultatai. Oro slėgis padangoje ir vertikalios apkrovos dydis turėjo įtakos riedėjimo pasipriešinimo koeficiento reikšmių kaitai, esant skirtingiems atraminiams paviršiams (pievoje, ražienoje, sausame žvyrkelyje). Mažinant padangos slėgį riedėjimo pasipriešinimo jėga yra tiesiogiai proporcinga vertikalios apkrovos jėgai ir atvirkščiai proporcinga slėgiui padangoje. Pievoje mažiausia riedėjimo pasipriešinimo jėgos Fp reikšmė gauta esant 1,0 bar slėgiui ir padangą apkrovus 1,4 kN vertikalia apkrova (Fp = 14,375 kN). Ražienoje – esant 0,5 bar slėgiui padangoje, ir 1,4 kN vertikaliai apkrovai (Fp = 22,283 kN). Bandymą atliekant ant žvyrkelio – minimali riedėjimo pasipriešinimo jėgos Fp reikšmė buvo tada, kai padangą veikė 1,4 kN vertikali apkrova ir oro slėgis padangoje... [toliau žr. visą tekstą]

The Master’s thesis presents findings of the study of tire rolling resistance under field conditions with different types of support surfaces (grassland, stubble, dry gravel-road), different vertical loads of tires (from 1.4 kN to 5.9 kN) and different air pressures in a tire (from 0.5 bar to 2.0 bar). Object of the thesis – tire rolling resistance coefficient f, change of its values with different parameters of a tire, load and support surface. The study was carried out using the tire BELCHINA 7.50L – 16 ФБел – 253. Methods of the thesis: in order to carry out the tire study, mobile stand was designed and manufactured and attached to self-propelled chassis T – 16M. Results of the thesis. Air pressure in the tire and the value of vertical load influenced the change of rolling resistance coefficient with different support surfaces (grassland, stubble, dry gravel-road). At the tire pressure being decreased, the rolling resistance force was directly proportional to the force of vertical load and is inversely proportional to pressure in the tire. The lowest value of rolling resistance force Fp on grassland was obtained at the pressure of 1,0 bar and vertical load of 1,4 kN on the tire (Fp = 14,375 kN). motornim vozilima“ razmatrane su mogućnosti unapređenja održavanja pneumatika na motornim vozilima. Opšti naučni cilj disertacije bio je razvoj metode modeliranja uticaja pritiska i opšteg stanja pneumatika na bezbednost saobraćaja, troškove pneumatika, troškove goriva i druge troškove eksploatacije vozila. Značajan cilj i doprinos rada je promocija proaktivnog pristupa održavanju pneumatika za komercijalna vozila a, s tim u vezi, i primena sistema za nadzor pritiska vazduha u pneumaticima (TPMS) kao konceptualnog rešenja koje je blisko konceptualnim rešenjima za ostale sisteme na vozilu, a koji su već poznati i u upotrebi. U okviru disertacije obavljena su istraživanja u SP „Lasta“ A.D., našem najvećem saobraćajnom preduzeću, sa ciljem da se utvrdi da li bi primena TPMS uređaja na komercijalnim vozilima, osim povećane bezbednosti, imala uticaja na povećanje ekonomičnosti eksploatacije. Istraživanja su obuhvatila utvrđivanje stanja pneumatika u SP „Lasta“ A.D., kontrolu i analizu pritisaka vazduha u pneumaticima u SP „Lasta“ A.D. i putna ispitivanja pneumatika u gradskom, prigradskom i međumesnom saobraćaju. Na osnovu analize rezultata istraživanja može se doneti zaključak da je sa gledišta bezbednosti saobraćaja, pogotovu kada se radi o prevozu putnika, održavanje propisanog pritiska vazduha od primarnog značaja. S obzirom da vozači tradicionalno izbegavaju svoje obaveze prema održavanju pneumatika proizvođači pneumatika i vozila izlaz iz ove situacije su potražili u novim tehničkim rešenjima. U doktorskoj disertaciji „Razvoj metodologije za proaktivno održavanje pneumatika na motornim vozilima“ je predstavljen model uticaja pneumatika na troškove eksploatacije vozila. Pošlo se od pretpostavke da odstupanje od propisanog pritiska vazduha u pneumatiku utiče na troškove eksploatacije vozila na četiri načina: povećava intenzitet habanja i smanjuje pređenu kilometražu između dva protektiranja, skraćuje vek spoljne gume, povećava potrošnju goriva (zbog povećanja otpora kotrljanja) i povećani broj iznenadnih otkaza usled separacije protektora ili eksplozije (usled preteranag zagrevanja pneumatika) . Za kvantifikaciju posledica neodgovarajućeg pritiska postavljene su odgovarajuće „krive zavisnosti“, odnosno krive korelacije između odstupanja pritiska od propisanog i promena u veku pneumatika, veku protektora i potrošnje goriva. „Krive zavisnosti“ su integrisane u zajednički model koji je iskorišćen za ocenu predloženih sistema za unapređenje održavanja pneumatika u SP „Lasta“ A.D...

Mobili žemės ūkio technika neigiamai veikia dirvą dėl varančiųjų ratų didelės apkrovos, buksavimo bei vėžių susiformavimo. Šių procesų pasekmė - dirvos suslėgimas, dirvožemio struktūros ardymas bei sąlygų vandens ir vėjo erozijai susidarymas. Dėl šių priežasčių mažėja derlius ir didėja energijos sąnaudos dirvai įdirbti. Vienas iš būdų optimaliau paskirstyti apkrovą dirvai - keisti slėgį padangose atsižvelgiant į dirvos fizines mechanines savybes. Šiame tiriamajame darbe nagrinėjama oro slėgio padangose įtaka dirvos suslėgimui. Tyrimai atlikti prieš rudeninę sėją, lengvo priesmėlio lauke. Prieš atliekant tyrimus dirva buvo suarta 20 cm gyliu. Dirvos drėgnis 5 cm gylyje buvo 12 %. Tyrimais nustatytas 1,9 MPa mažesnis dirvos slėgis esant 0,5 bar slėgiui padangose lyginant su 2,5 bar slėgiu padangose. Dirvos kietis buvo mažesnis 4,8 karo, 5 cm gylyje, ties armens padu iki 4,1 karto.

Mobile agricultural machinery negatively affects soil due to large load of driving wheels, constant slippage and track formation. Consequently, problems such as soil compaction, damage of soil structure and conditions for water and wind erosion occur. For these reasons, yields decline and energy costs for soil cultivation increase. One of the ways to streamline the distribution of load on soil is to change the pressure in the tires considering on the soil physical and mechanical properties. This research work focuses on the investigation of tire pressure influence on soil compaction. Investigations were carried out before the autumn sowing on a light sandy loam field. Before the tests the soil was plowed 20 cm depth. Soil moisture at a depth of 5 cm was 12 %. The studies revealed that soil compaction of 1,9 MPa was lower at 0,5 bar pressure in the tires compared to the 2,5 bar pressure. Soil compaction was found to be 4,8 times lower in 5cm depth whereas compaction at the tractor track was 4,1 times lower.

This study had as main objective to characterize the forms of pressure in a work environment and its influence on creativity, as well as which strategies are used by people to deal with situations of pressures. A qualitative research was conducted in one of the Countrys largest retail companies in the supermarket segment, using documental research and focal groups as techniques for collecting data. Nineteen section supervisors of the supermarket participated in the research subdivided in three focal groups, conducted at three different stores. The technique of content analysis proposed by Bardin (2004) was used for analysis and interpretation of results. The content analysis allowed the classification of the identified types of pressure in the work environment of the researched organization, the individual and group strategies used to confront pressure situations and the organizational strategy used to incentive creativity. It was verified starting from the results of this research that the pressure experienced in the organizational context influences creativity, however it could provoke different ways of reacting and of facing pressure situations. The types of pressure types most mentioned by the participants as harmful to the creative process in the work context were: time pressure (89,47%), high self-demand (89,47%), friends and family pressure (63,16%) and the pressure for results (57,89%). The strategies to increase creativity most mentioned in that context as forms to face the pressure situations were planning of time and tasks (68,42%) as an individual strategy; the exchange of ideas and experiences among work colleagues (47,37%) as a group strategy; and organizations strategy, characterized by the implementation of structured programs to incentive creativity (31,58%). It was noticed that the identified types of pressure interrelate in a complex way, exercising different influences in individuals. It is suggested for future studies to concentrate specifically in one of the forms of pressures in order to enhance knowledge on its impacts on individuals and groups in a work environment.

Este estudo teve como principal objetivo caracterizar as formas de pressão no contexto de trabalho, sua influência sobre a criatividade e as estratégias utilizadas pelas pessoas para lidar com situações de pressões. Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa em uma das maiores empresas de varejo do segmento de supermercados do país, tendo como técnica de coleta de dados a pesquisa documental e grupos focais. Participaram da pesquisa dezenove Chefes de Seção, subdivididos em três grupos focais, realizados em três lojas diferentes. Para análise e interpretação de resultados empregou-se a técnica de análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2004). ▼ The purpose of this research was to evaluate the dynamic variation in asphalt pavement critical responses due to dynamic tire load variations. An attempt was also made to develop generalized regression equations to predict the dynamic response variation in flexible pavement under various dynamic load conditions. The study used an extensive database of computed pavement response histories for five different types of sites (smooth, rough, medium rough, very rough and severely rough), two different asphalt pavement structures (thin and thick) at two temperatures (70 °F and 104 °F), subjected to a tandem axle dual tire at three speeds 25, 37 and 50 mph (40, 60 and 80 km/h). All pavement responses were determined using the 3D-Move Analysis program (Version 1.2) developed by University of Nevada, Reno.A new term called Dynamic Response Coefficient (DRC) was introduced in this study to address the variation in critical pavement responses due to dynamic loads as traditionally measured by the Dynamic Load Coefficient (DLC). While DLC represents the additional varying component of the tire load, DRC represents the additional varying component of the response value (standard deviation divided by mean response). In this study, DRC was compared with DLC for five different sites based on the roughness condition of the sites. Previous studies showed that DLC varies with vehicle speed and suspension types, and assumes a constant value for the whole pavement structure (lateral and vertical directions). On the other hand, in this study, DRC was found to be significantly varied with the asphalt pavement and function of pavement structure, road roughness conditions, temperatures, vehicle speeds, suspension types, and locations of the point of interest in the pavement.A major contribution of the study is that the variation of pavement responses due to dynamic load in a flexible pavement system can be predicted with generalized regression equations. Fitting parameters (R2) in the rage of 0.60 to 0.87 were observed the DRC predictive equations. In addition, verification of those generalized equations was evaluated using different sets of asphalt pavement structures and pavement materials. The differences between calculated and predicted values were found to be within ±20% for the maximum tensile strain and ±30% for the maximum compressive strain in the asphalt layer. ▼ In these experiments, we tested the hypothesis that sympathetic escape in skeletal muscle is mediated through a fall in parenchymal cell oxygen levels following blood flow reduction. This hypothesis predicts that if the fall in parenchymal cell PO₂ during stimulation can be minimized, escape should be reduced. To test this prediction, we studied the behavior of superficial arterioles of the cat sartorius muscle during 3 minutes of sympathetic nerve stimulation. The muscle was covered with silicone oil equilibrated with 0%, 5% and 10% oxygen. During stimulation under 0% oxygen, 90% of visible arterioles showed a significant secondary relaxation (escape). The relaxation averaged 55% of the initial constriction. Under 5% oxygen, resting arteriolar diameter was reduced by an average of 12% and escape was significantly reduced throughout the arteriolar network. Under 10% ambient oxygen, there was an additional 5% reduction in resting diameter and a further reduction of escape. Escape was not attenuated when control diameter was reduced to the same degree with arginine vasopressin, suggesting that the effect of oxygen was specific rather than secondary to an increase in vascular tone. The above observations are also consistent with the hypothesis that escape is mediated through a fall in vascular wall PO₂. To evaluate this possibility, periarteriolar and parenchymal tissue PO₂ were measured with oxygen microelectrodes during sympathetic stimulation under 0% and 10% oxygen suffusion of the muscle. In the proximal arterioles, the periarteriolar PO₂ during control and during stimulation was identical under 0% and 10% oxygen yet escape was reduced by 75% under 10% oxygen. Similarly, escape was reduced 90% in the distal arterioles under 10% oxygen but periarteriolar PO₂ was very nearly the same as that measured under 0% oxygen. In contrast, mean parenchymal tissue PO₂ fell to low levels during stimulation under 0% oxygen but did not fall below normal levels during stimulation under 10% oxygen. These findings argue against the hypothesis that a fall in vascular wall PO₂ is responsible for escape. The findings are consistent with the hypothesis that sympathetic escape in skeletal muscle is mediated through a fall in parenchymal cell PO₂. (Abstract shortened with permission of author.) The average of life span of people around the world has been increasing dramatically while the risk of having diseases such as hypertension rises as the proportion of elderly people increases.Numerous studies have addressed the impact of hypertension and its treatment on health-related quality of life. Few of the studies, however evaluated health-related quality of life among hypertensives in special age population. The aim of this work was to evaluate the relationship between blood pressure and health related quality of life in the elderly ( age>65 years).1.Protocol/MethodsThe study was carried out in the area of Athens University in 2 different Elderly’ Protection Institutions. 400 participants members of these institutions aged >65 years was the sample of the study, of which 250 subjects were the study group ( mean age 75.7 ± 6.2 years) with diagnosed hypertension, under antihypertensive treatment, and the rest 150 subjects were the control group (mean age 75.1 ± 6.4 years ) with no history of hypertension. Sociodemographic factors were similar for both groups. Quality of life was assessed from self-completed questionnaires ( WHOQOL-100). Descriptive statistics comparing mean scores and standard deviations for each of the four domains in the WHOQOL-100 were calculated using t-test pair statistical analysis.1.ResultsThe scores of the WHOQOL-100 life quality scale were the same for both groups with no statistically significant difference, while age was the only independent factor affecting negatively the elderly quality of life.2.ConclusionThe findings suggest that hypertensive elderly do not represent a vulnerable population comparing with normotensive ones, and that only aging is associated with clinically meaningful decreases in reported health quality of life.

Γενικά: Ο πληθυσμός ηλικιωμένων στο δυτικό κόσμο αυξάνει ολοένα και περισσότερο, ενώ είναι γνωστό ότι και η επίπτωση της αρτηριακής υπέρτασης αυξάνει με την άνοδο της ηλικίας.Σκοπός: Η παρούσα μελέτη έχει ως σκοπό να ερευνηθεί ο ρόλος της υπέρτασης στην ποιότητα ζωής ηλικιωμένων ατόμων > 65 ετών.Μέθοδοι: Mε βάση τη σειρά προσέλευσης επελέγησαν 400 άτομα μέλη Κέντρων Ανοικτής Προστασίας Ηλικιωμένων (ΚΑΠΗ) που αποτέλεσαν και το υλικό της έρευνας. Από αυτά, 250 άτομα ( n1= ομάδα ασθενών) με μέση ηλικία τα 75.7 ± 6.2 έτη είχαν αρτηριακή υπέρταση και ελάμβαναν αντιυπερτασική αγωγή, ενώ 150 ( n2=ομάδα ελέγχου) με μέση ηλικία τα 75.1 ± 6.4 έτη είχαν χαρακτηριστεί νορμοτασικοί και δεν ελάμβαναν καμία αντιυπερτασική αγωγή. ▼ In any automotive system, the tires play a very crucial role in defining both the safety and performance of the vehicle. The interaction between the tire and the road surface determines the vehicle's ability to accelerate, decelerate and steer. Having information about this interaction in real-time can be very valuable for the on-board advanced active safety systems to mitigate the risks ahead of time and keep the vehicle stable. The crucial information which can be obtained from the tire includes but are not limited to tire-road friction, tire forces (longitudinal, lateral), normal load, road surface characteristics and tire pressure. This information can be acquired through indirect vehicle dynamics based estimation algorithms or through direct measurements using sensors inside the tire. However, the indirect estimations fail to give an accurate measure of the vehicle state in certain conditions (e.g. side winds, road banking, surface change) and require ABS or VSC activation before the estimation begins. Therefore, to improve the performance of these active stability systems, direct measurement based approaches must be explored. This research expands the applications of Intelligent tire and focuses on using the sensor based measurement approach to develop estimation algorithms relating to tire force measurement. A tri-axial accelerometer is attached to the inner liner of the tire (Intelligent Tire) and two of such tires are placed on an instrumented (MSW, VBox, IMU, Encoders) VW Jetta. Different controlled tests are carried out on the instrumented vehicle and the Intelligent tire signal is analyzed to extract features related to the tire forces and pressure. Due to unavailability of direct force measurements at the wheel, a VW Jetta simulation model is developed in CarSim and the extracted features are validated with a good correlation. ▼ With the development of the computational technology, vehicle dynamics simulation has become a powerful tool for vehicle design in automotive industry nowadays. Since the tire plays a crucial role in vehicle handling, ride comfort, and durability, an accurate and efficient tire model becomes the prerequisite for the reliability and effectiveness of various vehicle dynamic simulations. In this dissertation, first an in-plane flexible ring tire model which is mainly used for straight line ride comfort and durability analysis is proposed. The model consists of a rigid rim, a certain number of discretized lumped mass belt points and massless tread blocks attached on the belt. Various virtual in-plane cleat tests according to the commercial ADAMS® FTire are conducted for parameter identification and validation of this in-plane tire model. The in-plane flexible ring tire model is further extended to a 3D out-of-plane tire model with a broader range of applications. The parameters in the 3D out-of-plane tire model are divided into in-plane tire parameters and out-of-plane tire parameters. Within the 3D tire model the values of the in-plane tire parameters are borrowed directly from the in-plane tire model, and the out-of-plane tire parameters are identified based on certain out-of-plane cleat tests. Various ADAMS® FTire driving/braking, cornering and cleat tests are conducted to validate the proposed 3D out-of-plane tire model. Besides, several important topics regarding to the flexible ring tire model, including the tire model efficiency, tire parameter sensitivity, robustness of the parameter identification procedure, and the relation between the tire parameters and tire model discretization, are also investigated in this dissertation. ▼ This thesis is a continuation of the model development work by Amir Gasmi in 2011 and Tim Lewis in 2012. The model was originally developed by Gasmi in 2011 to represent non-pneumatic tires. It centers on a thin, circular beam in contact with a rigid surface, which represents the belt package of the non-pneumatic tire. The beam is connected to a wheel with spokes. Gasmi developed a method to approximate these discrete spokes with a continuous load on the belt package. The results of this non-pneumatic tire model agreed very well with non-linear finite element analysis of a non-pneumatic tire. This model was adapted for pneumatic tires by Lewis in 2012. Lewis introduced a superposition scheme to reduce errors introduced by tension in the belts at the edge of contact. The sidewalls were approximated as circular in order to calculate sidewall stiffness. The results presented by Lewis for force versus deflection and counterdeflection agreed reasonably well with experimental measurements, but used stiffness values that were more from curve fitting than from a mechanics analysis of the tire geometry and material properties. The model presented in this thesis was developed directly from Lewis' model. This model includes more representative sidewall modeling based on membrane theory, and more representative belt properties based on composites theory. Unlike in the results presented by Lewis, the sidewall stiffness values (denoted as Kr and KÎ¸) are not considered to be inputs to the model; rather, the tire's geometrical design parameters (such as outer radius and sidewall width) are the inputs, and the stiffness values are calculated as part of the model. This allows for a more direct connection to tire design. The model has been improved to take into account a stiffness property called pre-tensioning, which allows the sidewalls (or in the case of a non-pneumatic tire, spokes) to maintain their stiffness in tension at small levels of negative deflection. This thesis will present a thorough investigation of the solutions with and without superposition, at a range of conditions. Also presented is an investigation of adjustments to input parameters to account for assumptions made in the model, as well as a sensitivity analysis.
