▼ Current methods of determining stereoscopic parameters for stereo 3D films away important information about the relationship between the geometry or scene elements, the camera, and the viewer, reducing the problem to a 2-dimensional space of camera separation and convergence distance. This ion handicaps the film's artists by narrowing the scope of the stereo aspects of movie making to being a post process, equivalent to applying a 3D lens to a movie already designed to be flat. In an attempt to counter the effect of this abstraction and to better incorporate a stereo mindset into other components of filmmaking, we have developed an interactive visualization and intuitive pipeline toolset for animation artists that allows them to simultaneously view and manipulate the impact of the higher-dimensional parameters normally abstracted away in common stereo techniques. By visualizing the complete, comprehensive stereo pathway and encouraging meaningful interaction with it, artists are better enabled to create fully informed creative and artistic stereo decisions earlier in the preliminary design stages, foresee issues related to inherent or unintentional distortions that may arise further down the production pipeline forcing costly re-renders and re-animations. By providing a quicker comprehension of the stereo space and a better understanding of the terminology used, we hope to show how the study of depth perception can guide the creation of better stereo 3D content. The toolset also provides for the definition of a metric of stereo distortion as it relates to the perception of volume and shape, which allows artists to make informed judgments on what constitutes perceptually good stereo, either through automated optimization or constrained manipulation based on the limits of human perception. This tool and its applications were tested in the production animation pipeline at DreamWorks Animation, and provided sufficiently accurate and helpful feedback and aesthetically pleasing suggestions to artists involved in the production of stereoscopic 3D animation. ▼ La filature is a call for the disruption of the post-industrial heritage. Imitating the filming technique of montaging and cutting to introduce the foreign type of the Movie Palace into the obsolete textile factory Desurmont. The project uses the pre-existent conditions of the ruin as sets, backgrounds for the production of films and as ornaments for the Movie Palace, as a counter reaction to current understanding of industrial heritage and as a opposition to current development of the cinema type. Between 1893 and 1929, the society Jules De Sourmont and Sons built their main site factory of spinning wool in Tourcoing, in the North of France. The use of reinforce concrete allowed the construction of large contemporary films. It challenges preconceives ways of making and thinking architecture and cinema. Openings in the walls and floors are made to let the camera pass and shot continuous scenes from space to space, transforming the complex in one single set. The cut of the cinema becomes the performer. It deconstructs the factory main building to transform it into a movie palac. It shape is the result of the technical specification of the film industry standard of quality THX, the procedure of demolition to guaranty the structural stability and the programmatic functions of the movie palace. The fear of demolishing something and never have it back, block the transformation of the post-industrial heritage, “It is time for a no-blame conversation about letting some things change and even letting some things go.” . La filature celebrates the ruins, is an alternative proposal for the Desurmont factory, not its complete demolition, neither its complete transformation. It proposes hard cuts of the building to show an alternative way of dealing with heritage to accept the reality of the ruin. spam using bearing beams, thus liberating the floor plans for big chains of machines to process the wool. In 2003 the Desurmont factory closed, it could not follow anymore the evolution of the industry. The concrete structure can no longer host the innovations of the industry. ▼ Practices in Visual Media At approximately 13 minutes in length Practices in Visual Media aims to explore composition with a wide variety of instrumentation, genre, and style inspired by different platforms of visual media. The idea of the piece was to recreate real-world scenarios that a commercial composer might encounter professionally. Each movement is based on a different form of visual media that I’ve rescored with original music: a movie trailer, cartoon theme song, TV commercial, and the soundtrack from a video game. I’ve also learned from personal experience that commercial composers are expected to have professional sounding products from the earliest stages of production. Audio production has become an integral part of the commercial composer’s skill set. When writing Practices in Visual Media, I transcribed and attempted to recreate several works from today’s leading film composers to learn more about the audio production techniques they used and tried to apply them to my own compositions. Another challenge this project presented is writing music to a scene without dialogue or other audio effects. In a real-world scenario composers are usually given a copy of the film in “picture lock” or the final edited down version that includes dialogue and some audio effects. The composer then scores the music to the “picture lock” version of the film. After the music has been recorded and mastered, the tracks are ready to be mixed with the dialogue and other audio effects. The final product of this process is one audio file that includes the music, dialogue and sound effects all together. Without access to the studios original audio files, which are almost impossible to acquire, there is no way to mute the music while keeping the dialogue and audio effects. Because of this, I was more careful in my writing and provided ample space with light orchestration when scoring under dialogue. IT Movie Trailer: The IT movie trailer was the most difficult movement to write because of the amount of editing involved. Movie trailers often cut to different scenes or camera shots frequently and sometimes in high action sequences they can change several times in just a few seconds. The original trailer music used by Warner Brothers divided the trailer into several distinct sections with different music for each. I approached the trailer in a similar fashion and cut the trailer into three sections. The main theme for the movement is based in D minor and is played by a celesta. Since the antagonist in the film is a clown and most of the story is based around children, I wanted the theme to sound like a “wind-up” music box. Music boxes make me think of innocence and memories of my childhood; the feelings from the music box mixed with the dark, ominous undertones from synthesizers layered together create a perfect setting for King’s classic novel. ▼ This study concerns with the characters, movie watching behaviors and lifestyles of the audiences of Kaohsiung Film Archive. Kaohsiung Film Archive, one of the local cultural museums in Kaohsiung city, provides film exhibitions and movie activities for people. The museum studies in Taiwan seldom discussed the audiencesâ behaviors based on personal psychological variables. On the other hand, most of the researches about movie viewers were focused in Taipei. This study attempts to reveal the differences of viewers between Kaohsiung Film Archive and other movie theaters. Some marketing suggestions for Kaohsiung Film Archive will be raised based on this study. This research has been conducted by questionnaire surveies from January 20th, 2010 to February 10th, 2010 in Kaohsiung Film Archive daily. 387 valid questionnaires are collected from the audience going to the screen room on the 3rd floor. The result shows: The majority of the movie viewers in Kaohsiung Film Archive are college-educated. The ratio of femail audience to male is 6:4. Their age distributes equally from the youth to retirements. Many people attend movies alone in Kaohsiung Film Archive, and plan the trips in advance. Their motivations to watch movies and the criteria for choosing movies are similar to the results found in the past. Except the mainstream romance and comedy, the study also finds that the audiencesâ favorite movie genres include non-mainstream art, documentary, and adaption of literary etc. With respect to viewersâ lifestyles, there are 27 questions in the study listed on the scale meter. By using factor analysis and reliability tests, six common factors can be classified: âloving cinematography,â âindependent and appreciative,â âengaging in community activities,â âenjoying family life,â âtaking part in social activities,â and âcalm and gentle nature.â These common factors further can be divided into 3 groups: âpragmatic,â âart and leisureâ and âfashion and dynamic.â The characters and movie-watching behaviors of these three groups are quite different. The age of âpragmaticâ people are relatively aged. They donât have paracticular vhoice of movie genres. The most frequently moviegoers are âart and leisureâ people, distributed in all ages. They like to watch non-mainstream art and documentary movies. âFashion and dynamicâ group is the youngest people. Their choices of movies are the same as normal movie audiences. Magistrinio darbo objektas - literatūros ir kino naratyvas, R. Granausko romane ir G. Lukšo filme „Duburys“. Darbe naratologinės analizės, komparatyvistiniu būdu analizuojami literatūros ir kino kūriniai. Šiai tarpdisciplininei analizei pasirinkta lietuvių rašytojo, klasiko Romualdo Granausko pirmasis romanas „Duburys“ ir to paties pavadinimo režisieriaus Gyčio Lukšo filmas. Darbe keliamas tikslas – išanalizuoti pasirinktus literatūros ir kino kūrinius, parodyti naratologinės analizės taikymo galimybes konkretiems naratyviniams tekstams. Darbą sudaro trys pagrindinės dalys: pirmojoje dalyje analizuojama literatūros ir kino naratyvo teorija, kuri yra reikšminga pasirinktų kūrinių analizei. Antrojoje darbo dalyje naratologinės analizės metodu nagrinėjami R. Granausko romanas ir G. Lukšo filmas „Duburys“. Šioje dalyje svarbu ne tik išanalizuoti romano ir kino naratyvą, bet ir atskleisti, kaip kinta literatūros naratyvas, perkeltas į kino filmą. Trečiojoje dalyje analizuojama intertekstualumo bei intermedialumo problematika, pateikiami konkretūs intertekstualumo pavyzdžiai, jų kaita ir transformacija, perkėlus iš vienos medijos į kitą. Naratologinė analizė leidžia plačiau pažvelgti į tai, ką naujo naratyvo teorija gali duoti praktiniam literatūros ir kino kūrinių tyrinėjimui, analizuojant ne tik skirtumus, bet ir pritaikant literatūros teoriją kitos meno rūšies analizei.

The object for the Master thesis is a narrative of literature and cinema in R. Granauskas novel and G. Lukšas movie “Duburys“. The thesis analyses literature and cinema works according to narratological analysis and in comparative way. The first novel of Lithuanian writer, classic Romualdas Granauskas “Duburys” and the same called movie of film director Gytis Lukšas was chosen for this interdisciplinary analysis. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse chosen literature and cinema works, to show possibilities of applying narratological analysis to particular narrative texts. The thesis consists of three main parts: the first part analyses the theory of literature and cinema narrative, which is significant to analysis of selected works. The second part of thesis analyses R. Granauskas novel and G. Lukšas movie “Duburys“ according to the method of narratological analysis. In this part it is important not only to analyse the narrative of novel and cinema, but to display how the narrative of literature varies when transferred into movie as well. The third part analyses problematic of intertextuality and intermediality, the particular examples of intertextuality are given as well as their alternation and transformation when transferred from one media into another. ▼ Title: Factors of online movie services that influence the intention of Swedish people to adopt it. Background: Currently there are very few providers of online movie services. There are no established or well known companies that provide such a service in Sweden. One thought is that this may be a reason why the illegal download and piracy industry is still rife in Sweden. With this in mind, it is the authors’ aim to discover what factors influence the intention of Swedish people to adopt an online movie service. Theory: The conceptual framework used in this report is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. After a critical literature review, this theory was adapted and other variables were added in order to create the most suitable conceptual framework for this research. Method: This descriptive research was done with quantitative approach. The primary data was collected from Swedish people by a questionnaire in Swedish and it was distributed to them via online and in person. Conclusion: There are several important factors for online movie services that influence the intention of Swedish people to adopt it. First, the subjective norm is one of the most important factors. A person is influenced by other people close to him/her and if those other people are positive about watching movies online, he/she is more likely to adopt the service. The second factor is the current way of watching movies. When people watch movies on the computer, laptop or via DVD, they are more likely to adopt the service, but it is the other way round for people who often watch movies on their TV. The third relevant factor that influences the intention to adopt is price consciousness. People are variously divided on this issue; some are willing to pay, whilst others rather want to watch free movies with commercials. However, most of the people do not want to pay to watch movie online and they look for the cheapest option. Finally, the attitude toward the service, a positive attitude is determined mostly by the relative advantages and the low complexity of the online movie services. People who think that online movies have advantages and it is not complicated are likely to adopt the services. Furthermore women are more likely to adopt than men and people older than 45 are not very likely to adopt the services.

Cinema, turismo e territorio; il cinema da sempre e' stato considerato come l'arte dello svago, dei sogni e della fantasia, escludendo ogni relazione diretta e indiretta con il turismo e il territorio. Negli ultimi vent'anni questa relazione e' stata messa in discussione portando avanti degli studi di settore su come i prodotti audiovisivi possano influenzare e trasformare l'economia di un territorio attraverso una nuova forma turistica, il Movie-induced tourism o Cineturismo. Le relazioni sono molto complesse e interessano diversi settori e attori di tutti e tre i segmenti con, alla base, nuovi approcci disciplinari e, allo stesso tempo, trasversali. Il cinema, quindi, visto non solo come momento di distrazione, ma come un vero e proprio strumento di sviluppo economico territoriale, capace di interagire con altri settori fornendo le basi per nuove forme di turismo alternativo o "creativo", rendendo piu' consapevole il turista-viaggiatore che sara'Â in grado di costruire, scegliere e valorizzare le mete, attraverso i prodotti audiovisivi. Saranno approfondite le relazioni di interdipendenza dei soggetti coinvolti con particolare riferimento alle Film Commission e agli strumenti utilizzati come il Film Fund e il Product Placement. Sara' fatta anche un'analisi delle Destination Management Organization (DMO) e dell'utilizzo delle location sia come scelta cinematografica che come quella turistica. Il lavoro si conclude con alcuni esempi sia internazionali, con particolare riferimento ai modelli americano, anglosassone e mediterraneo, sia nazionale, con la descrizione del sistema cineturistico italiano.

Cinema, tourism and territory; cinema has always been considered as a fantastic world where people get true their dreams, excluding any direct and indirect connection among tourism and territory. During last twenty years this idea has been changed due to many case studies showing how audiovisual products may have an effect on local economy through a new branch of tourism called " Movie-induced tourism". It's a growing phenomenon worldwide, fuelled by both the growth of the entertainment industry and the increase in international travel. Connections are complex and they involve several sectors with a new multitasking approach to use it as an economic tool for creating an alternative tourism or " creative" tourism. It's an important resource, creating economic and social benefits, and, more often, many regional governments are looking towards this specific kind of tourism to limit the economic decline they are experiencing. Modern tourist is more self-confident about his travels and his choices, so he can decide where, when and how to go, visit or live a touristic location. The purpose of this dissertation is to focus which aspects contribute to create and develop a new future perspective of Movie-induced tourism.

In this thesis four studies were conducted to learn what discourse goals are accomplished through social movie quoting and if Roberts and Kreuz’ (1994) discourse goal taxonomy for figurative language would be a suitable theoretical framework for the study of the social movie quoting phenomenon. Study 1 examined movie quoting without being tied to any specific movie quotes. Demographic variables were correlated with common movie viewing preferences, behaviors, and attitudinal responses. Study 2 had participants generate a realistic movie quote they would actually use for accomplishing each of several specific discourse goals in conversation. Study 3 had participants generate a plain English interpretation of the movie quotes selected from Study 2. Study 4 participants rated the movie quotes and plain English equivalents generated in studies 2 and 3 for aptness and likelihood for use in conversation with the knowledge (Condition 1) and without the knowledge (Condition 2) of the underlying discourse goal. Quotes were randomized and counterbalanced so that half the participants in each condition received all movie quotes first (Group 1) and half the plain English first (Group 2). Results indicated that movie quotes were used to accomplish a set of discourse goals most similar to the traditional figures of speech of hyperbole, understatement, metaphor, and simile. The most common purposes of social movie quoting were to compare similarities and either downplay or exaggerate these similarities. Knowledge of the underlying discourse goal significantly increased the aptness and likelihood of both quote types for several discourse goals. The order of presentation did not significantly affect participants’ ratings. The aptness of the quote was strongly related to participants’ likelihood of using a particular quote, regardless of quote type. Future research should focus on capturing naturally occurring language to further increase the ecological validity of these results. It appears that the act of quoting movie lines in conversation is heavily dependent on individual preferences and a method should be developed to capture movie quoting in such a way. ▼ This exegesis follows a trajectory that starts with Jonathan Beller’s observation that the contemporary spectator now ‘labours in the image’. Essentially, Beller suggests that vision and perception of the screen image is the fundamental value-productive labour for the modern spectator. The central argument of this exegesis is to refute Beller’s concept of the ‘looking as labour’. I suggest that sensual, corporeal and phenomenological perception, as embodied in a range of labour practices surrounding the physical film-set, has the potential to offer slippages and ruptures in the homogenising cinematic mode of production of the ‘screen image’. This is developed through analysis of how my own, and some other artists’ practices explore unexpected areas: marginalised and forgotten histories, new narratives, material realities and imaginings. Therefore the narratives that unfold in the exegesis range across film extras’ personal stories, reports of communities’ interactions with filmsets, artists’ re-creation of classic film-sets, archival research and my own industrial film production experience and exploration of abandoned sets. Starting with the ‘looking as labour’, the exegesis moves to a consideration of ‘labour in the film-set’ to a concept of ‘mobile labour beyond the film-set’ . Notions discussed include forms of the underground, film noirs, the world fair, crazy house and film-set ruin. Through discussion of my own work and that of other artists and theorists, this exegesis illustrates the ways in which the cross-fertilisation of these concepts can lead to far more variegated, and dynamic, uses of ‘labour’ than Beller suggests. Artist’s brought into the discussion include Peter Brosnan, Krassimir Terziev, Sean Lynch, Goshka Macuga, Abbas Kiarostami and Pierre Huyghé, while critics and theorists mentioned include Susan Stewart, Michel de Certeau, Vivian Sobchack, Martin Heidegger, Paul Virilio, David Pike and Henri Lefebvré.

Este projeto analisa quatro filmes da América Latina que têm como ponto comum o fato de estarem centrados em personagens que realizam viagens em seus países de origem (dois filmes) e na América do Sul (outros dois). O objetivo é demarcar nestas obras construídas sob a necessidade do deslocamento, dados constitutivos de identidade e pertencimento a uma dada geografia física e humana. Os que percorrem a América Latina são Diários de Motocicleta, dirigido pelo brasileiro Walter Salles e El viaje la aventura de ser joven, do cineasta argentino Fernando Ezequiel Pino Solanas. Os que centram suas narrativas em território nacional são Central do Brasil, também de Walter Salles, e Facundo, la sombra del tigre, do diretor argentino Nicolás Sarquís. O estudo aborda a relação dessas obras com o contexto cultural e político da América Latina dos anos 60, com destaque pontual a Brasil e Argentina, e discute como se apropriam do gênero road movie. Defende, ainda, que os quatro expõem e traduzem uma das tensões centrais da pós-modernidade, que é a sua convivência com o universo cultural da chamada modernidade sólida. Tal procedimento deriva principalmente da condição de percorrer a estrada e nela afirmar uma identidade configurada por valores quase sempre idealizados e nostálgicos, formando um conjunto de filmes que expressa a persistência das ficções-nacionais e pan-continentais no cinema contemporâneo de Brasil e Argentina.

This project will analyze four Latin American movies that have in common the fact of being centered in characters that travel around their country of origin (two movies) and South America (two other movies). The objective is to demarcate in these movies, which were built under the need of displacement, relevant information regarding the identity and belonging of a given physical and human geography.The two movies that take place in Latin America are Diários de Motocicleta, directed by the Brazilian Walter Salles and El viaje la aventura de ser joven, from the Argentinean filmmaker Fernando Ezequiel Pino Solanas. The other two movies that focus their narratives on national territory are Central do Brasil also from Walter Salles and Facundo, la sombra del tigre from Argentinean director Nicolás Sarquís. The study addresses the relationship of these works with the political and cultural context in Latin America on the 60s, with focus on Brazil and Argentina, and discusses how these movies also appropriate the road movie style. It also defends the idea that these movies expose and reflect one of the central tensions of post-modernity, which is its coexistence with the cultural universe called solid modernity. This procedure comes mainly from the condition of riding the road and on it reaffirming an identity shaped by values that are, almost always, idealized and nostalgic, forming a set of films that express the persistency of national fixation and pan-continental for Brazil and Argentinas contemporary cinema.

Dans les années vingt, au moment de l’institutionnalisation du cinéma classique hollywoodien, discours critiques et pratiques publicitaires maintiennent actif un plaisir spectatoriel lié à la présence sensationnelle de réel dans le film. La notion de « réalisme » que ces discours utilisent est un concept fragmenté qui vise d’une part à asseoir la légitimité du cinéma sur le sérieux des arts réalistes, et d’autre part à mettre l’accent sur les liens que le film entretient avec la réalité, dans son tournage, sa fabrication en studio, ou les techniques de l’illusion réaliste. Ces discours révèlent donc tout ce qu’il y a de réel dans le travail de la fiction des films. Il y a donc derrière ces discours un projet réaliste de construction d’un regard spectatoriel anti-illusionniste et actif qui est invité à analyser le film comme une illusion artificielle. Ces discours sont étendus dans le quotidien des spectateurs par des pratiques publicitaires qui visent à créer un espace de réception ludique où réel et romanesque s’interpénètrent dans le ballyhoo aux accents forains, les décorations des entrées de salles de cinéma, et les prologues joués sur scène avant (ou pendant) le film. Ce regard réaliste que ces discours et pratiques développent nous permet d’analyser la réception des films muets hollywoodiens comme un moment ludique et participatif. En visant au réveil des sens et à l’acuité du regard chez le spectateur, ces discours et pratiques permettent de poser la question d’un réalisme hollywoodien dont l’objectif serait un jeu actif, conscient et critique avec l’illusion cinématographique.

In the 1920s, as Hollywood cinema is undergoing industrial institutionalization, critical and advertising discourses maintain active a spectatorial pleasure derived from the sensational presence of reality in fiction films. The notion of « realism » used in those discourses is a « cluster concept » aiming on the one hand to derive cinema’s legitimacy from the serious purpose of realistic arts, and on the other to emphasize the relationship between film and the reality of on location or studio shooting, of the manufacturing of films, and of the tricks behind the realistic illusion. Those discourses therefore reveal all that is real in how fiction works in films and support a realistic project to construct an active and non-illusionistic spectatorial gaze that is invited to analyze film as an artifical illusion. These discourses are extended to spectators’ daily life through advertising practices that aim to create a playful space of reception where reality and romance merge in circus-inspired ballyhoo, in lobby decorations, and in on-stage prologues before, or during, the film. This realistic gaze developped by such discourses and practices allows us to analyze the reception of Hollywood silent films as a playful and participative moment. La recherche en marketing commence à tracer les contours d’un concept de marque humaine. Les parcours professionnels de certains de ces individus appréhendés tels des marques, comme ceux des réalisateurs de films, nous conduisent à soulever la question de l’extension de la marque humaine. Sachant que l’existence sociale de l’individu marqué dépend de la légitimité détenue auprès de publics clés (les membres internes de l’industrie, les critiques et le grand public), la question se pose alors de l’extension incongruente et du risque que représente cette extension spécifique pour les multiples légitimités de la marque humaine. Face à cette problématique, nous proposons d’étudier les mécanismes de perte et de gain de légitimités du réalisateur de film déclenchés par la sortie d’un film incongruent. En adoptant un design mixte, cette recherche montre que l’extension incongruente représente un risque de perte de légitimité moins élevé pour la marque humaine que l’extension modérément incongruente ou l’extension congruente. Et elle montre également que l’extension incongruente représente une opportunité de gain de légitimité plus élevé que les deux autres formes d’extensions. Cette thèse se conclut en soulignant que les processus de gain et de perte de légitimités constituent les dynamiques sous-jacentes des parcours professionnels des marques humaines et que suivant les mécanismes révélés, ces parcours professionnels peuvent être stratégiquement élaborés.

Marketing research has begun tracing the contours of a human brand concept. The subsequent issue of human brand extension arises as branded individuals (such as movie directors) can be seen moving forward in their careers. The question of incongruent human brand extension is particularly important because the social existences of these branded individuals depend on the legitimacy they hold in regards to various key constituencies (internal members of the industry, critics, the general public). And incongruent human brand extensions can represent a threat for these various legitimacies. We choose to look into this question by studying the mecanisms of movie director legitimation which are unleashed by incongruent film extensions. We use a mixed design method. And we demonstrate that human brands risk loosing less legitimacy with an incongruent extension than with a moderately incongruent extension or with a congruent extension. We also find that human brands can earn more legitimacy with an incongruent extension than with a moderately incongruent extension or with a congruent extension. This doctoral research highlights that the mecanisms by which branded individuals gain or loose legitimacy are the underlying dynamics of their career paths. And by providing insight into these mecanisms, this work shows that these career paths can be undertaken strategically.

▼ Recent developments in video technology have opened up the possibility for people to watch movies in many different ways. For example one person may use a kinetoscope. Others may go to cinemas or join in a movie festival, yet others use a DVD player, watch them on the internet or even on mobile devices. Do movie fans use all or a number of these ways or just pick one of them? How do they select the way they watch the movies? What factors influence them in this selection? These are the important questions which this research addresses. This research utilises product attributes to collect the data from 531 respondents surveyed in Kaohsiung City and analysed by statistics using quantitative empirical methods. It finds that consumersâ preferences for the product attributes and for the movie seeing are related to their lifestyles and demographic variables, and there is a level of significance in these factors: self-benefit, cheerful mind, efficiency, level of socialisation, and economics, in the product attribute for each consumer cluster based on lifestyle. In the preference of product usage, there is the level of significance in these factors: âcinema, and legal and illegal download from the internetâ. However, there is no level of significance in these factors: âcable TV, video and disk rent, video and disk purchase, and illegal copy purchaseâ. Further, in product attribute related to demographic statistical variables, there is separately a level of significance in these factors: gender, education background, marriage, children-raising, and career, in self-benefit, cheerful mind, efficiency, and level of socialisation. And in the relationship of the preference of product usage and demographic statistical variables, there is a significant correlation between most demographic statistical variables and certain preferences of product usage.
