梁の横座屈は骨組耐力や変形能力を低下させる主要因であり,多くの実験的・解析的研究が行われてきた.米国では,19世紀後半から,H形鋼梁の横座屈に関する多くの実験が行われてきた.様々な理論研究,実験および数値解析を経て,それらの研究成果は世界中の諸設計基・規準に反映されている.日本では,1970年代から実験的,解析的研究が精力的に行われた.横座屈耐力の評価や横座屈を拘束するための横補剛の配置・剛性・補剛力に関する研究が進められ,崩壊に至るまでの耐力を評価する塑性設計の体系が整えられた.一方,1981年の新耐震設計法施行以前の適合不適格建物においては横座屈後の挙動について検討されていないこと,梁横座屈後の骨組の耐力をどのように評価すべきかという視点から,現在は,横座屈後の梁の挙動について着目して横座屈および座屈補剛に関する多くの研究が行なわれている.これらの多くの研究成果を基に,効果的に横座屈を拘束する目的で,横補剛に関する規定が各国ごとに定められている.しかし,その横補剛の配置方法は,均等間隔で補剛する方法や,存在応力に対して補剛位置を決定する方法と様々である.米国では塑性ヒンジ部近傍を拘束した後,残る部分に許容応力度設計で横補剛を配置するという補剛法が導入されたのち,均等間隔に横補剛を配置する横補剛規定を採用している.中国においても,横補剛を均等間隔に配置する規定を採用している.一方,日本では,地震時の大変形時にも耐力が低下しないよう,現行の耐震設計基・規準において,保有耐力横補剛が規定されており,均等間隔補剛規定と端部補剛規定が示されている.しかし,均等間隔補剛規定は,設計は簡便であるが,材長が長くなるにつれて補剛数が極めて多くなるという特徴を持つ.また,端部補剛規定は設計手順が面倒であるという問題を持つ.以上のように,各国によって補剛設計方法が異なるが,それぞれの基本が保証する変形性能を明らかにした上で,設計式は統一されることが望ましいと考えられる.本論では,横補剛に着目し,日中米三国の補剛規定とその補剛効果の違いを明確にし,それぞれの横補剛を有する梁の数値解析を行い,終局耐力や変形能力について明確にする.その中で最も効果的な補剛方法に着目し,より簡便な補剛方法を提案することを試みる.より簡便で効果の高い補剛方法を提案することで,建物の耐震性と設計の自由度を上げることを目指す.1章では,本研究の目的と背景,論文構成について述べている.2章では,本論に行う数値解析の適切な載荷履歴を決定する目的で,梁部材の変形がどの程度の骨組の変形に相当するのを明確にしている.汎用有限要素法プログラムMarc2010を使用し,水平力を受ける門形ラーメン骨組を対象とした有限要素法数値解析を行い,層間変形角と梁の材端回転角の関係をまとめ,数値解析の載荷履歴を決定した.対象とする骨組の階高hは4mであり.梁の長さは,λy=110~570 で変化させる.これらの数値解析結果より,梁に要求される変形性能をまとめ,層間変形角と梁部材の材端回転角との関係を示した.その結果,梁の材端回転角0.045radに相当する層間変形角は,1/18~1/12radとなっており,本論文で使用する載荷履歴を決定した.3章では,日中米3国の補剛規定をまとめ,比較している.研究対象とする基・規準は日本の鋼構造設計規準,建築物の構造関係技術基準解説書,中国のGB50017-2003基準および米国のANSI/AISC 341-10基準である.異なる性能を要求するこれらの補剛規定に従って,いくつかの梁について必要補剛数を求め,それぞれの補剛形式下の終局的な梁の耐力や変形能力を明確にしている.本章では,H-500×200×10×16,H-600×200×11×17,H-800×300×14×26,材長はλy=110,250,570である梁を対象とした.米国,中国の規定は,ほぼ同じであることを示し,日本の保有耐力横補剛は,材長によって補剛数が大きく異なることを示した.4章では,汎用有限要素法プログラムMarc2010を用いて,数値解析を行い,第3章で示したそれぞれの基準に従った横補剛の補剛効果を明確にしている.梁の材端変形角にして0.1radまでの単調載荷および0.015rad,0.03rad,0.045radの振幅を2回ずつ繰返す繰返し載荷とした.数値解析結果より,中国と米国の規定は,ほぼ同等の効果を示すことを明らかにした.また,3国の規定の中で,日本の保有耐力横補剛が最も効果的であることを示した.5章では,4章で最も効果的であることを示した日本の保有耐力横補剛の利点を取り入れ,端部補剛で挟まれた中間部を均等間隔で補剛する方法を提案している.汎用有限要素法プログラムMarc2010を用いて,端部補剛間の均等補剛間隔をパラメータとした繰返し載荷を受けるH形鋼梁の数値解析を行い,細長比λy=570の梁について,必要補剛間隔は100iyでよいことを示した.また,他の材長に対する効果を確認するため,細長比λy=170~570の梁の解析を行い,全ての材長に対して,最大耐力および最終耐力がおおむね全塑性モーメントを満足できることを示した.6章では,以上の内容をまとめた結論を記した.
建物の耐震性向上につながるより簡便で,効果的な補剛方法を提案することができた.
