Magnetic nanoparticles possess unique properties that make them attractive materials for biomedical applications, such as cancer therapy, current modalities of cancer therapy suffer from several drawbacks. Multimodal cancer therapy by simultaneous hyperthermia and chemotherapy can synergistically enhance the therapeutic efficacy compared to individual/sequential application of these techniques.
