▼ The question of religions diversity and the related issues of validity, truth and salvation can have a great practical impact on our life in the modern closely-knit global society and can help improve or ruin the relationships between faith communities. These important issues have led to the emergence of three types of theology of religion in Christianity: exclusivism, inclusivism and pluralism. This thesis aims to analyse the views on the diversity of religions of two contemporary Shi 'ah thinkers, Ayatollah ʿAbdullah Javadi and Professor Mahmud Mustafa Ayoub, who come from two distinctly different milieus. It demonstrates that although the scholars of a single denomination may refer to the same sources and believe in the same theological concepts, their understandings of a single text may differ due to their social and educational backgrounds. In order to further elaborate on the positions of these two scholars, this thesis also looks at the views of three earlier influential scholars, namely, al-Tusi, Sadr al-Din Shirazi and al-Ansari, who attempt to cast light upon religions diversity from theological, exegetical and jurisprudential perspectives. The thesis finds that both Javadi and Ayoub are in unison over the invalidity of non-revealed religions, but they attempt to address it from two different angles. They, nevertheless, differ in the question of the validity of revealed religions. These thinkers believe that all revealed religions are similar in terms of their fundamental beliefs because they are based on the immutable fitrah of mankind, while this thesis argues that the similarity originates in their rational provability. As for the diversity of religious practices, whereas Ayoub maintains it has been caused by the variety of races, languages and cultures of mankind, Javadi believes that the religious practices are varied because they were established based on the capacity of mankind for knowledge and practice, which has improved and has led to new laws and regulations. The thesis also comprehensively assesses the views of the two thinkers on the interpretation of the most cited Qur‘anic verse (2:62) regarding religious pluralism and compares them with the views of Ayatollah Ja 'far Sobhani as one of the most influential contemporary Shi 'ah theologians. This inquiry also highlights the views of Ayoub and Javadi on the question of dialogue, its common ground, goals and presuppositions.

Neste trabalho, aplicamos o modelo de Ising com diluição por sítios ao estudo das propriedades magnéticas de uma rede cúbica de corpo centrado (do inglês, body centered cubic, bcc), cujos sítios podem ser ocupados por spins. Como aplicação desse estudo, traçamos alguns diagramas de fase da liga Fe-Al, com comparações entre o modelo teórico utilizado e dados experimentais e propomos uma interação de troca entre os atomos de Fe, na liga, com dependência ate terceira potência da concentração (q) de atomos de Al, possibilitando um melhor ajuste entre teoria e experimento para o diagrama T-q desta liga. Tomamos como base a tecnica do operador diferencial para expandir as expressoes analıticas que surgem do modelo de Ising diluıdo e descrevemos tal comportamento magnetico por meio de aglomerados com 1 e 2 spins. Um bom acordo entre o modelo teorico proposto e dados experimentais tambem e obtido tanto para a magnetização como função de q quanto para o parametro de rede, r, como função de q, sendo que esta abordagem mostra-se como uma boa alternativa a outras tecnicas analıticas e computacionais utilizadas para o estudo de sistemas magneticos diluıdos. Os resultados analıticos obtidos para a rede bcc foram comparados com a tecnica de Monte Carlo para verificar o grau de aplicabilidade do modelo bem como confirmar a validade dos resultados encontrados analiticamente.

In the present work, we study the magnetic properties in the site diluted two-state Ising model on a body-centered cubic lattice. As an application of this study, we has been obtained the phase diagram for Fe-Al alloys and comparisons between theoretical model and experimental data are made by using the exchange interaction between Fe atoms in the alloy up to the third power dependence on concentration q of Al atoms. We have used the differential operator technique to expand the analytical expressions that arise from the diluted Ising model and describe such behavior by means of magnetic clusters with one and two spins. A good agreement between the theoretical model and experimental data is also obtained for both the magnetization and to the lattice parameter, r as a function of q. In this approach, it is shown as a good alternative to other analytical and computational techniques used for the study of diluted magnetic systems. The analytical results obtained for bcc lattice were compared with the Monte Carlo technique to determine the degree of applicability of the model and confirm the validity of the results obtained analytically.

Le "Futuh al-Habasa", récit en arabe de différentes guerres menées par l'imam Ahmad depuis le sultanat du "Bar Sa'ad ad-din" contre le royaume chrétien d'Ethiopie entre les années 1520 et 1535/1537, relate notamment comment l'essentiel des territoires chrétiens est passé provisoirement sous domination musulmane au cours de la « conquête de l'Abyssinie » (1531-1543). En analysant cette source endogène unique en son genre, cette thèse vise à proposer un changement de perspective dans la manière dont est abordée l'histoire de l'Ethiopie, an accordant sa pleine place à l'islam éthiopien, au carrefour entre les études éthiopiennes et celles sur l'islam médiéval.L'analyse littéraire du "Futuh al-Habasa" révèle que son auteur, Arab Faqih, rédigea cet ouvrage après l'échec de la « conquête de l'Abyssinie », probablement en vue de convaincre les élites du "Bar Sa'ad ad-din" de repartir à la conquête du royaume chrétien. En faisant appel à la littérature des premiers siècles de l'islam mais aussi à des références plus contemporaines, Arab Faqih réalise ainsi une apologie du "gihad" en présentant l'imam Ahmad comme le modèle du parfait "mugahid".D'autre part l'étude de l'histoire du "Bar Sa'ad ad-din" (1415-1583), des rapports de pouvoir au sein du sultanat et des relations que ce dernier entretenait avec le royaume chrétien voisin, révèle les facteurs internes à cette société qui ont conduit l'imam Ahmad à entreprendre une telle guerre. Le Futuh al-Habasa montre enfin que cette conquête vit l'émergence de nouvelles pratiques de guerre et de nouvelles manières de la penser, et détaille le projet d'une « grande Ethiopie musulmane » qui ne survécut pas à la mort de l'imam en 1543.

The Futuh al-Habasa is an Arabic language account of a number of wars initiated by the imam Ahmad from the Bar Sa'ad ad-din sultanate against the Christian kingdom of Ethiopia between the years 1520 and 1535/1537 ; of particular interest is its narrative of the temporary Muslim domination of the majority of the Christian territories during the conquest of Abyssinia (1531-1543). Through analysis of this unique endogenous source this PhD aims to propose a new way to approach th history of Ethiopia by considering the Ethiopian Islam as a full-fledged topic, at the crossroads between the studies on Ethiopia and those on Medieval Islam.The literary analysis of the Futuh al-Habasa reveals that its author, Arab Faqih, wrote this account after the failure of the « conquest of Abyssinia », probably with a view to convince the elites of the Bar Sa'ad ad-din to march on the Christian kingdom once again. Drawing on literature from the first centuries of Islam as well as on more contemporary references, Arab Faqih thus writes an apology of gihad, presenting the imam Ahmad as being an example of the perfect mugahid.On the other hand, studying the history of the Bar Sa'ad ad-din (1415-1583), the power relationships inside the sultanate and its links with the neighbouring Christian kingdom, reveals the factors internal to this society that pushed the imam Ahmad to…

A l’instar de la philia dans l’Antiquité grecque, l’amitié en Orient musulman aux IVe/Xe et Ve/XIe siècles ne se réduit pas à la relation affective de personne à personne que nous voyons en elle aujourd’hui. Elle déborde le strict domaine de l’intimité pour dire la vie en communauté et renvoyer à une exigence de fraternité humaine généralisée. Elle participe ainsi à la constitution de groupes sociaux comme celui des raffinés à l’intérieur de l’espace aulique chez al-Waššā’, elle préside, d’après al-Sulamī, au compagnonnage spirituel des disciples rassemblés autour du maître soufi, elle concourt encore à la formation, à la cohésion et au maintien, en une totalité unifiée, du groupe des Iḫwān al-Ṣafā’, dont les membres sont déjà réunis par leur adhésion à une doctrine philosophique originale. La capacité unificatrice qu’elle recèle et les valeurs morales qu’elle promeut l’érigent, selon al-Tawḥīdī et Miskawayh, en un idéal sur lequel se régler pour ourdir la toile sociale et remédier à l’insociabilité et aux divisions qui marquent l’Empire oriental musulman à l’époque ici considérée. Dans une optique religieuse, chez al-Ġazālī, sa pratique particulière comme amitié en Dieu, orientée vers le transcendant, tend à vider le cœur de l’homme de la présence du moi pour laisser place au Très-Haut, elle contribue alors à l’élaboration d’une éthique véritablement musulmane et permet de redonner vie religieuse effective à la communauté musulmane (umma). L’amitié entre l’homme de lettres et l’homme de pouvoir, prônée par al-Tawḥīdī, peut en outre jouer un rôle politique, en ce qu’elle modifie les rapports traditionnels entre le conseiller et le prince.

Similar to the philia in Greek antiquity, friendship in the Muslim Orient, during the 4th/10th and the 5th/11th centuries, cannot be reduced to the emotional relationship between people which we see nowadays. It extends beyond the strict domain of intimacy to signify life in the community, and leads to a demand for generalized human brotherhood. It thus contributes, for al-Waššā’, to the setting up of social groups such as that of the refined ones inside the princely court; it presides, according to al-Sulamī, over the spiritual fellowship of the disciples gathered around the Sufi master; it also contributes to the forming, cohesion and maintenance, in a wholly unified organization, of the Iḫwān al-Ṣafā’ group, whose members are already united through their allegiance to an original philosophical doctrine. The unifying capacity it holds and the moral values it promotes establish it, according to al-Tawḥīdī and Miskawayh, as an ideal to look up to so as to weave the social framework and address the unsociability and divisions that characterize the era of the Eastern Muslim Empire we are studying here. Within a religious perspective, in al-Ġazālī, its particular practice as love in God, oriented towards the transcendent, tends to empty man’s heart of the ego to make place for the Most High. The development of the microstructures, and changes of the mechanical and phisical properties during deformation of Al-Mg alloys (3-6 % Mg) by shear spinning and cold rolling were investigated. Four mandrels with different angles of 2α=90°, 60°, 40° and 18°, were used for shear spinning, and reduction of 30%, 50%, 66% и 84 % were achieved, respectively. The microstructure and mechanical properties in annealed and deformed Al-Mg alloys were examined by means of optical microscopy, SEM/EDS, TEM, tensile testing, hardness and electrical conductivity measurement. With increase of reduction and Mg content, as well as decrease of the grain size, the yield stress and ultimate tensile strength of Al-Mg alloys increase. It was shown that during shear spinning, unlike cold rolling, dynamic recovery occurres, what affect the deformation behaviour during tensile test and mechanical properties. Mechanical properties of Al-Mg alloys after shear spinning are lower compared to cold rolling at the same reduction. Dynamic recovery increases the plasticity of Al-Mg alloys. It was assumed that dynamic recovery during shear spinning is result of high strain rate and adiabatic heating in a small deformation zone. Fracture of shear spun specimens during uniaxial tensile occure by ductile mechanism. The size and distribution of the second phase particles showed the dominant influence on the fracture. Existance of the coarse second phase particles provides damage nucleation sites during forming processes and limits the ductility and spinnability of Al-Mg alloys. The relationship between initial microstructure, strength and ductility with facture surface characteristics was established.

U radu je ispitan uticaj tehnologije prerade, rotacionog valjanja konusa i valjanja glatkim valjcima na strukturu, fizička i mehanička svojstva Al-Mg legura različitog hemijskog sastava. Korišćene su tri komercijalne Al-Mg legure AlMg3, AlMg4,5Mn i AlMg6Mn, a primenom različitih režima termomehaničke prerade dobijena su dva stukturna stanja u pogledu veličine zrna. Homogena sitnozrna struktura, sa srednjom veličinom zrna kod svih legura 13-14 μm, i krupnozrna, sa veličinom zrna u intervalu od 20-50 μm. Rotacionim valjanjem oblikovani su konusi korišćenjem trnova sa uglovima 2α=90°, 60°, 40° i 18°, pri čemu su ostvarena 4 stepena deformacije: 30 %, 50 %, 66 % i 84 %, respektivno. Za ispitivanje strukturnih i mehaničkih svojstava Al-Mg legura u polaznom stanju i nakon deformacije, u funkciji sadržaja Mg, veličine zrna, stepena deformacije i primenjene tehnologije plastične prerade, korišćene su optička mikroskopija (OM), skenirajuća elektronska mikroskopija sa enegrodisperzionom analizom h-zraka (SEM/EDS), transmisiona elektronska mikroskopija (TEM), test jednoosnim zatezanjem i merenje tvrdoće i električne provodljivosti. ▼ Introducción y objetivo. El riesgo de recaída después de un primer episodio psicótico es alto. La falta de adherencia al tratamiento es un factor de riesgo de recaída con alto poder predictivo en primeros episodios de psicosis no afectiva. Una escasa adherencia está asociada a un mayor número de hospitalizaciones, aumento del consumo de servicios de salud, peor pronóstico y peor evolución en cuanto a calidad de vida. Más de la mitad de los pacientes con un primer episodio de psicosis son poco adherentes. La medicación antipsicótica es la base del tratamiento y garantizar su mantenimiento a largo plazo es crucial para prevenir las recaídas. Las formulaciones inyectables de larga duración disminuyen el riesgo de recaída y se ha demostrado que la adherencia al tratamiento mejora en pacientes que reciben tratamiento inyectable. El objetivo del presente estudio es examinar si la prescripción de tratamiento inyectable de larga duración está relacionada con variables de tipo sociodemográfico, clínico y neurocognitivo. Material y métodos. Un total de 210 pacientes fueron reclutados del programa epidemiológico y longitudinal de primeros episodios psicóticos (PAFIP), realizado en el “Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla”. La información sobre la adherencia al tratamiento fue recogida mediante la “Escala de Adherencia de Morisky” en tres momentos (3 meses, 6 meses y 1 año). Resultados. Una menor edad, una mayor tasa de hospitalización y el consumo de cannabis se asociaron significativamente con el tratamiento inyectable. Mala adherencia, peor ajuste premórbido, mayor tasa de recaídas, peor funcionalidad, síntomas negativos de mayor gravedad y la falta de insight acerca de poseer un trastorno mental revelaron diferencias significativas entre sujetos con tratamiento de tipo inyectable y oral. Los pacientes con tratamiento inyectable mostraron peor rendimiento en funciones ejecutivas, velocidad de procesamiento y función cognitiva global. Conclusiones. Los resultados obtenidos sugieren la responsabilidad de considerar los antipsicóticos inyectables como una estrategia potencial en etapas tempranas de la psicosis. ▼ This research explores the development of the discourse of power and the role in the development of this discourse of the arts and artists as dramatised in contemporary Egyptian theatre from 1967 to 2018. While Egyptian theatre of the pre-1967 and post-2011 periods has received comparably more scholarly attention in Western academia, the post-1967 period has generally been neglected. This period has been described as one of decline and as such of no scholarly interest. Through detailed analyses of Egyptian plays of the period in question, predominantly those by Abū al-ʿIlā al-Salāmūnī and Lenin al-Ramlī, this study fills an important gap in existing scholarship by linking the pre-1967 and post-2011 developments in Egyptian theatre. As such, it aims to achieve a better understanding of the revolutionary and post-revolutionary developments in Egyptian theatre in the context of the socio-political and cultural life of the country. The prologue introduces the topic and the concerns of the research. The six content chapters are grouped into two chronological periods. Chapters one to four focus on the plays of the last three decades of the twentieth century, and chapters five and six examine twenty-first-century plays. Chapter one examines the representations in the plays of characters who practise leadership. Chapter two discusses the self-reflexive technique of representing intellectual leadership in the form of theatre within theatre. Chapter three discusses the representations of common members of society and society as a whole. Chapter four is devoted to analyses of female characters in Egyptian plays. Chapter five looks at al-Salāmūnī’s and al-Ramlī’s work in the early twenty-first century, examining their returns to the issues discussed in the previous chapters. Chapter six identifies how the 2011 revolution and the events following it have been reflected in theatre. The epilogue summarises the conclusions of the research. Ce travail est une édition critique et une traduction annotée en français d’un extrait du Mir’ât al-zamân fî tawârîh al-a‘yân (Miroir du temps dans les histoires des notabilités) de Sibt Ibn al-Gawzî (m. 654 / 1257). L’auteur était un célèbre sermonnaire originaire d’Iraq qui vécut la majeure partie de sa vie en Syrie à l'époque des Croisades. Son œuvre est une vaste histoire universelle qui allait de la Création à l’année de son décès. L’extrait édité porte sur les années 412 à 434/ 1021-1043, qui correspondent dans l’histoire de l’Iraq aux règnes de Musharrif al-Dawla et Galàl al-Dawla, deux émirs de la dynastie iranienne bouyide qui gouverna le pays entre 945 et 1055. Il comporte également de nombreuses informations sur d’autres régions du monde arabo-islamique de l‘époque : Ghazna, l’Egypte, la Syrie, l’Iran, et la Haute-Mésopotamie. Les textes de l‘édition et de la traduction sont en outre précédés d’une biographie actualisée de l’auteur et d’une étude sur les manuscrits du Mir’ât al-zamân en général : en effet, ceux-ci ne reproduisent pas la version originale de l’auteur, qui ne nous est pas parvenue, mais plusieurs abrégés distincts dont les auteurs sont encore, pour la plupart, non identifiés. L’édition s’appuie sur les deux principales versions abrégées existantes de cette œuvre, une courte, déjà éditée mais de manière incomplète et donc révisée ici, et une longue, à ce jour inédite.

This work is a critical edition and a French translation of a part extracted from the Mir’at al-zamân fi tawârikh al-a‘yan (Mirror of the time in the histories of notabilities) of Sibt Ibn al-Gawzi (d. 654/1257). The author was a famous preacher of Iraqi origin and lived the major part of his life in Syria during the Crusades' times. His work is a universal history going back to the Creation down to the author’s death. The edited part deals with the years 412 to 434 / 1021-1043, corresponding in the history of Iraq to the reigns of Musharrif al-Dawla and Galal al-Dawla, two emirs of the Buyid dynasty who rule the country between 945 and 1055. It also contains information about other parts of the Arabic and Islamic world of that time: Ghazna, Egypt, Syria, Iran, and Upper-Mesopotamia. The edition and the French translation are preceded by an up to date biography of the author and a wide study about the Mir’at al-zamân’s manuscripts. The original version of Sibt Ibn al-Gawzi’s work indeed didn’t come down to us and the manuscripts only usually reproduce different abridged versions whose authors are still mostly unknown to us. Our edition provides for this part of the work the two extent abridged versions, one short which has already been edited but in an incomplete way and had to be revised, and one long which is here edited for the first time.

Une fois la théorie des équations quadratiques établie, les algébristes arabes orientent leurs recherches vers d'autres sujets. À la fin du Xe siècle l'un d'eux, le mathématicien al-Karajī, choisit d'explorer les relations entre arithmétiques et algèbre, et développe un système cohérent et exhaustif de règles de calcul pour les entités algébriques. Ce faisant, il inaugure une nouvelle tradition de recherche d'arithméticiens-algébristes qui visent à féconder l'algèbre avec l'arithmétique, et inversement. La notion centrale de cette tradition est celle d'opération et son objectif est de faire en sorte que l'algébriste puisse opérer sur les quantités inconnues comme l'arithméticien opère sur les connues. La recherche d'al-Karajī est ensuite perfectionnée au XIIe siècle par al-Samaw'al. Le travail du mathématicien persan al-Zanjānī (XIIIe siècle) s'inscrit clairement dans cette tradition de recherche, et son Qisṭās al-muʻādala reprend fidèlement les textes karajiens. Dans ce traité, al-Zanjānī présente la théorie du calcul algébrique, il compose une longue collection de problèmes et conclut son écrit avec un chapitre entièrement consacré à l'analyse indéterminée. Le traité était, jusqu'à maintenant, inédit. Notre édition critique est suivie d'une traduction en français et précédée d'une analyse historique, philologique et mathématique du texte. Cette analyse vise à mettre en évidence les aspects les plus significatifs de l'algèbre d' al-Zanjānī, ainsi que de la tradition à laquelle ce dernier appartient

Once the theory for second degree equations was established, algebraists redirected their interests to new topics. By the end of tenth century, one algebraist, the mathematician al-Karajī, chose to investigate the interaction between arithmetic and algebra, and began to create a coherent and exhaustive system of rules for calculating with algebraic entities. His work gave birth to a new tradition of arithmetician-algebraists, whose aim was to improve algebra with the help of arithmetic and vice versa. The focus of this tradition was on the notion of operation, and its aim was to make the algebraist able to manipulate unknown quantities like the arithmetician manipulates known ones. Al-Karajī's research was then improved by the twelfth-century scholar al-Samaw‘al. In the thirteenth century, the Persian mathematician al-Zanjānī followed this same tradition, and his Qisṭās al-muʻādala accurately recalls and elaborates upon al-Karajī's work. Al-Zanjanī presents his theory for algebraic computations, composes a long collection of problems, and concludes his treatise with a chapter on indeterminate analysis. Al-Zanjanī's treatise was unpublished until now. Our critical edition of the text is followed by a translation into French and preceded by an historical, philological and mathematical commentary of the text. Le quartier d'al-Mïdan est un exemple judicieux pour présenter l'histoire et le développement de l'expansion urbaine extra-muros de la ville de Damas. En effet, son expansion s'est poursuivie sans interruption au fil des siècles. Longeant la Rue principale vers la Terre Sainte, l'Égypte et la Palestine, ce quartier a été divisé en trois parties (Nord, Centre et Sud) afin d'en faciliter son étude. Le quartier s'est développé à partir des villages des premières tribus arabes installées aux alentours de la muraille (VIIe et VIII siècle). La partie Nord a été le premier secteur du quartier à connaître un vrai essor dans son urbanisation jusqu'à l'époque ayyoubide (570-658/1174-1260) où le Musalla a été transformé en mosquée (en 606/1211) et où la partie centrale a connu un noyau d'urbanisation. A l'époque Mamelouke (658-923/1258-1516), le village al-Qubaybat est apparu dans le Sud avec sa mosquée, la Mosquée al-Karïmï (en 718/1318). Par la suite, la Mosquée de Manjak a été érigée (avant 826/1423) dans le secteur Central qui a intégré la partie Nord. Suite à cela, al-Qubaybat a perdu son indépendance en intégrant l'unité spatiale du quartier avant l'arrivée des ottomans (en 923/1516). L'étude architecturale de l'ensemble des monuments du quartier d'al-Mïdan révèle une identité spécifique avec, d'une part, l'absence totale de madrasa et, d'autre part, la présence de mausolées mamelouks à deux coupoles. Par ailleurs, le quartier présente le seul exemple dans l'architecture damascène d'un édifice proche du type« sabïl- maq'ad », bien connu au Caire d'époque mamelouke. Les sources historiques et les documents écrits des archives fournissent des listes importantes de monuments du quartier disparus de nos jours. Cela s'ajoute à la liste issue des travaux sur le terrain et permet d'avoir une vue plus complète sur l'histoire de l'urbanisation du quartier. La société a été composée de plusieurs classes: les notables (al-Kubartiou al-A 'yiin) qui ont collaboré avec les militaires pour contrôler les peuple (al-'Amma), sans oublier les grand commençants et les milices locales appelées « al-Zu 'ur ». Le pouvoir était représenté par un walï, qui avait la responsabilité de le contrôler, d'y maintenir l'ordre et de collecter les impôts. Ce dernier était soutenu dans sa mission par deux autres personnages : le Shaykh al-hara, qui en général était choisi par le pouvoir parmi les élites ou les personnes puissantes du quartier, et le 'Arif al-hara, qui était un des chefs des milices locales « al-Zu 'ur ».

Fakhr al-Din al-Razi is a significant philosopher who is famous for his critics on Avicenna. He also made effective dialogues between two rival doctrines (namely Kalam and Peripateticism) in the Islamic world in Middle Ages. He defended Kalam Atomism in last decades of his life. This thesis is working on his two treatises as manuscripts and translating it into English. One of the treatises is about proving atom and another one is rejecting Hylomorphism. These two treatises are attached together as a manuscript book titled as Proving Atomism.

Au Moyen Âge, dans le monde islamique, il y avait deux groupes d'érudits qui avaient deux indications différentes sur l'existence. Le premier groupe était des philosophes, ḥukamā, qui ont approuvé falsafah ou ḥikmah. Cette doctrine avait des bases aristotéliciennes. Un autre groupe était des théologiens, mutikalimūn qui était pour la plupart atomistes. Les théologiens constituaient le kalām qui se traduisait parfois par théologie islamique.Fakhr-e-Razi ou Fakhr al-Din al-Razi était un philosophe et théologien important au 12ème siècle qui a fait des dialogues et des débats entre ces deux doctrines. Il a écrit des critiques sur les livres d'Avicenne et a défendu la doctrine de l'atomisme de Kalam. Bien qu'il ait défendu l'atomisme de Kalam dans beaucoup de livres, il a écrit un traité indépendant sur ce sujet. Cette thèse est l'édition et la traduction d'un livre manuscrit qui comprend deux traités indépendants, dont l'un, prouve atomisme et un autre réfute Hylémorphisme.Cette thèse inclut des commentaires sur l'atomisme et l'hylémorphisme (l'introduction du livre). L'atomisme comme vue générale et l'atomisme de Kalam en particulier sont étudiés. L'histoire de l'atomisme est brièvement passée en revue en tant que racines de l'atomisme de Kalam. Puis la vue de Razi sur l'atomisme est étudiée selon ce livre présent et ses autres livres. Le contraste entre la vision de Razi et la doctrine d'Avicenne comme son rival sont également analysés.
