Um eine verbesserte Trennungsmethode für Plasmidisoformen zu entwickeln, werden eine Reihe Experimente für Anionenaustauschchromatographie und Ionenausschluss-Chromatographie durchgeführt. Mit dem Ziel, Proben aus dem Downstream-Prozess online analysieren zu können, wird 2-dimensionale Chromatographie getestet. In einem anderen Teil wird die Anzahl der superhelikalen Verwindungen von zwei Plasmiden durch Agarosegelelektrophorese bestimmt.
