▼ Предмет истраживања дисертације је развој модела електронског пословања заснованог на флексибилном учешћу потрошача на српском тржишту електричне енергије. Циљ је развoj одрживoг и применљивoг моделa електронског пословања који омогућава учешће домаћинстава и појединачних уређаја на балансном тржишту и на берзи електричне енергије коришћењем smart grid технологија и demand-response сервиса. Учествовањем појединачних домаћинстава и уређаја у балансном тржишту омогућава се прецизна контрола фреквенције електроенергетског система, што oтвара могућности за експлоатацију обновљивих извора електричне енергије преко флексибилнијег и тачнијег управљања флуктуацијама. Tржиштa електричне енергије традиционално функционишу по B2B моделу електронског пословања где се пословање врши искључиво између произвођача и оператора тржишта. Дерегулација отвара нове могућности пословања за тржишта електричне енергије, претежно за домаћинства чијом се инклузијом у великој мери може повећати флексибилност и ефикасност механизма балансирања и целокупна стабилност електроенергетске мреже. Пословни модел предложен у овој дисертацији прилагођен је пословном окружењу и регулативи у Републици Србији. Предложена техничка спецификација модела састоји се од дистрибуиране инфраструктуре за повезивање и координацију великог броја корисничких IoT уређаја. За прикупљање, анализу и управљање подацима у реалном времену користе се аналитичке методе и софтверски алати базирани на пословној интелигенцији. Subjects/Keywords: The subject of this thesis is the development of an e-business model based on flexible participation of households in the Serbian energy market. The goal is the development of a sustainable and suitable e-business model that enables households as well as individual devices to participate in the balancing market as well as the energy exchange through the use of smart grid concepts and demand response technologies. By enabling the participation of individual households in the balancing market; a new mechanism for frequency control of energy grids is possible; which allows for the future adoption of renewables. Energy markets are traditionally B2B e-business models; which facilitate for business processes between the energy producers and the system operators. With the deregulation of energy markets; new ways of doing business are becoming possible; primarily for households for whom the participation in the market allows for greater flexibility and efficiency in the balancing mechanism and the potential to improve the stability of the energy grid as a whole. The business model proposed in this dissertation is based on the business rules as well as regulations that are currently in place in the Republic of Serbia. The implementation of the technical segment of the model is based on the design of a distributed infrastructure for the coordination of a large number of individual users and devices with the goal of providing demand response services to the energy market. Business intelligence tools; as well as analytical models; will be used for the purpose of data extraction and analysis as well as to manage the system in real time. The advantage of the proposed model is in the fact that it is adapted for energy markets that are still in development; as well as its capability to adapt to new technological trends and its integration with smart grid technologies. The dissertation gives the analysis of readiness of customers and market participants for the application of the propsed model.

The present doctoral thesis focuses on the effort to further improvemet both the sensitivity and selectivity of nanoparticle analysis methods in environmental samples, as existing methods require specialized and expensive equipment (eg single-element ICP-MS) as well as complex and time consuming extraction processes, although still unsuccessful, in many cases sufficient sensitivity for the analysis of trace amounts of metal nanoparticles in environmental samples. At the same time, the purpose of the doctoral dissertation is to develop a method of sequential (gradual) extraction of nanoparticles from solid samples, allowing a better understanding of the mechanisms and phenomena related to the interaction of nanoparticles in the environment. To achieve this goal the research focuses on the development of new methods based on (a) microextraction of gold and silver nanoparticles into suspended supermolecular agglomerates and determination by atomic absorption spectroscopy by electrothermal atomization; Picketing-type emulsions (emulsions formed during the adsorption of colloidal particles at the interface between the organic and aqueous phases) followed by re-extraction and oxidative solubilization and suitably adapted for the extraction of large volumes and (c) sequential extraction to evaluate the mobility and fractionation of metal nanoparticles in soils. For each method the experimental working conditions were optimized and successfully applied to real environmental samples with very satisfactory results.

H παρούσα διδακτορική διατριβή επικεντρώνεται στην προσπάθεια περαιτέρω βελτίωσης τόσο της ευαισθησίας όσο και της εκλεκτικότητας των μεθόδων ανάλυσης νανοσωματιδίων σε περιβαλλοντικά δείγματα, καθώς οι υπάρχουσες μέθοδοι απαιτούν εξειδικευμένο και ακριβό εξοπλισμό (π.χ. single-element ICP-MS) καθώς και πολύπλοκες και χρονοβόρες διαδικασίες εκχύλισης, χωρίς παρόλα αυτά να επιτυγχάνουν, σε πολλές περιπτώσεις επαρκή ευαισθησία για την ανάλυση ιχνοποσοτήτων μεταλλικών νανοσωματιδίων σε περιβαλλοντικά δείγματα. Παράλληλα σκοπός της διδακτορικής διατριβής είναι η ανάπτυξη μιας μεθόδου διαδοχικής (βαθμωτής) εκχύλισής των νανοσωματιδίων από στερεά δείγματα, επιτρέποντας την καλύτερη κατανόηση των μηχανισμών και των φαινομένων που σχετίζονται με την αλληλεπίδραση των νανοσωματιδίων στο περιβάλλον. Για την επίτευξη του στόχου αυτού η έρευνα επικεντρώνεται στην ανάπτυξη νέων μεθόδων βασισμένες α) στην μικροεκχύλιση νανοσωματιδίων χρυσού και αργύρου σε αιωρούμενα υπερμοριακά συσσωματώματα και προσδιορισμός με φασματοσκοπία ατομικής απορρόφησης με ηλεκτροθερμική ατομοποίηση β) στην υγρή μικροεκχύλιση διασπαρμένου σταγονιδίου (Dispersive Suspended Microextraction- DSME) μέσω σχηματισμού μικρογαλακτωμάτων τύπου Picketing (γαλακτώματα που σχηματίζονται κατά την προσρόφηση κολλοειδών σωματιδίων στη διεπιφάνεια μεταξύ οργανικής και υδατικής φάσης) ακολουθούμενη από επανεκχύλιση και οξειδωτική διαλυτοποίηση και κατάλληλα προσαρμοσμένη για την εκχύλιση μεγάλων όγκων δειγμάτων γ) στην εκχύλιση νανοσωματιδίων με διαλυτοποιούμενα…

▼ Prvi del doktorske disertacije je namenjen raziskavam faznih ravnotežij trigliceridov v sub- in superkritičnih fluidih. Podatki so ključni za nadalnje načrtovanje visokotlačnih separacijskih in formulacijskih procesov, saj so pripomogli k izboljšanju določenih industrijskih procesov v smeri okoljevarstva in kvalitete proizvodov. Za določitev topnosti glicerol tristearata-zgoščeni plini in glicerol trioleata-zgoščeni plini smo uporabili visokotlačno optično celico. Meritve smo izvedli pri različnih temperaturah (30, 50, 70 in 90 °C) in tlakih do 600 bar. Cilj našega eksperimentalnega dela je bilo pridobiti podatke o faznih ravnotežjih za glicerol tristearat in glicerol trioleat v sistemih superkritični CO2 in SF6, ki so ključnega pomena za optimizacijo visokotlačnih separacijskih in formulacijskih procesov. Podatkov o faznih ravnotežij glicerol tristearata-SF6 in glicerol trioleata-SF6 v literaturi ni. Pridobljeni podatki so novi in odpirajo nove perspektive za uporabo SF6 kot topila za različne nosilce. Za raziskave vpliva tlaka na temperaturo tališča in določitev talilne toplote v različnih plinih (dušik in CO2) smo uporabili visokotlačni DSC. Prav tako smo določiti topnosti in difuzijske koeficiente superkritičnega CO2 v različnih naravnih polimerih, ki se uporabljajo v prehrambeni industriji kot vezivo in sicer v različnih celulozah in škrobih. Topnost CO2 v polimeru je odvisna od temperature in tlaka, ter povzroča njegovo nabrekanje in s tem znižanje viskoznosti polimera. S povišanjem topnosti CO2 v polimeru se povečuje tudi masa polimera. Za določanje topnosti CO2 in difuzije smo uporabili magnetno suspenzijsko tehtnico. Meritve smo izvedli s pomočjo magnetne suspenzijske tehtnice pri različnih temperaturah (40, 60 in 80 °C) in tlakih do 300 bar. Določili smo visoke vrednosti topnosti in difuzijskih koeficientov ob izpostavitvi polimerov SC CO2. V nobenem primeru ni prišlo do raztapljanja polimera, ampak je polimer absorbiral CO2 in nabreknil. Iz dobljenih podatkov je razvidno, da topnost CO2 v polimerih z zviševanjem tlaka narašča in z zviševanjem temeperature pada. Zviševanje tlaka povzroča povečanje gostote plina in s tem večjo topnost, pri čemer se poveča volumen polimera. Z zviševanjem temperature pa se znižuje gostota plina. Difuzijski koeficienti CO2 so odvisni od koncentracije CO2 v polimeru. Na začetku se vrednosti difuzijskega koeficienta s povečanjem topnosti dvigajo, dokler CO2 ne zapolni vseh prostih praznin v polimeru, nato pa začnejo te vrednosti padati zaradi delovanja hidrostatičnega tlaka. Z določitvijo topnosti in difuzijskega koeficienta CO2 v polimerih pri določeni temperaturi in tlaku, smo pridobili več podatkov o faznem ravnotežju polimer-plin, ki so pomembni za razumevanje vpliva in optimiranje procesnih parametrov. V zadnjem delu doktorske disertacije smo vezali naravno rumeno barvilo kurkumin iz začimbe in 10 % tekočega ekstrakta na nosilce kot so trigliceridi, polietilen glikol, ciklodekstrin, celuloze in škrobi. Unser Leben verlagert sich immer mehr in Richtung netzbasierter Umgebungen. Wir schreiben E-Mails, telefonieren mit Mobiltelefonen und kommunizieren mit Freunden in Social Media Plattformen, von Facebook bis Wikipedia. Das schafft eine große Anzahl an verwertbaren Daten für die Soziale Netzwerkanalyse. Diese Methode erlaubt es, basierend auf dem Medium spezielle Kommunikations-Schemata zu analysieren, Verhaltensmuster bei starken und schwachen Beziehungen, Beziehungen bei denen sich Akteure mögen oder ablehnen zu untersuchen. Mit ihr kann man auch Aussagen treffen, wie wichtig einzelne Akteure in Relation zu anderen im Netzwerk sind. Netzwerk Technologien entwickeln sich kontinuierlich weiter. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist die Erweiterung des World Wide Web zum sogenannten Web of Data. Hier werden Standards geschaffen, um die den Webseiten zugrunde liegenden Daten einheitlich, offen und maschinenlesbar zu gestalten. Das Web of Data, auch Linked Data genannt, hat eine große Gemeinde und eine schnell wachsende Anzahl an frei verfügbaren, maschinenlesbaren Daten. Das leuchtende Zentrum dieser verlinkten Daten ist die DBpedia, welche Daten aus der Wikipedia extrahiert und anhand der Linked Data Prinzipien aufbereitet. Diese Arbeit versucht die frei verfügbaren Daten des Web of Data mit der Methode der Sozialen Netzwerkanalyse zu verbinden. Um das umzusetzen, wollen wir Daten von der DBpedia extrahieren und die extrahierten Akteure analysieren, um daraus konkrete Aussagen herleiten zu können. Die Beantwortung solcher Fragen gibt Aufschluss darüber, ob die Soziale Netzwerkanalyse in Verbindung mit der DBpedia grundsätzlich möglich ist. Auch Ziel dieser Studie ist es, herauszufinden ob dieser Ansatz brauchbar ist für die Sozialwissenschaft.

Daily Life is more and more affected by modern forms of communication and media. In the world of today, we live our lives within network based environments. We check e-mails, make mobile phone calls and interact on social media platforms – starting from Facebook or Twitter up to Wikipedia. The high volume of raw computable data leads to research topics about social network analysis. Using this method, it is possible to reveal distinct patterns of interaction. Depending on the communication media, it allows the investigation of behavioral patterns of strong and weak relationships, relationships of liking and disliking someone, or even dividing important actors from less-important actors within a network system. Most transportation problems arise from individual travel decisions. In response, transportation researchers had been studying individual travel behavior – a growing trend that requires activity data at individual level. Global positioning systems (GPS) and geographical information systems (GIS) have been used to capture and process individual activity data, from determining activity locations to mapping routes to these locations. Potential applications of GPS data seem limitless but our tools and methods to make these data usable lags behind. In response to this need, this dissertation presents a GIS-based toolkit to automatically extract activity episodes from GPS data and derive information related to these episodes from additional data (e.g., road network, land use). The major emphasis of this dissertation is the development of a toolkit for extracting information associated with movements of individuals from GPS data. To be effective, the toolkit has been developed around three design principles: transferability, modularity, and scalability. Two substantive chapters focus on selected components of the toolkit (map-matching, mode detection); another for the entire toolkit. Final substantive chapter demonstrates the toolkit’s potential by comparing route choice models of work and shop trips using inputs generated by the toolkit. There are several tools and methods that capitalize on GPS data, developed within different problem domains. This dissertation contributes to that repository of tools and methods by presenting a suite of tools that can extract all possible information that can be derived from GPS data. Unlike existing tools cited in the transportation literature, the toolkit has been designed to be complete (covers preprocessing up to extracting route attributes), and can work with GPS data alone or in combination with additional data. Moreover, this dissertation contributes to our understanding of route choice decisions for work and shop trips by looking into the combined effects of route attributes and individual characteristics.

L'extraction de règles d'association et de bi-clusters sont deux techniques de fouille de données complémentaires majeures, notamment pour l'intégration de connaissances. Ces techniques sont utilisées dans de nombreux domaines, mais aucune approche permettant de les unifier n'a été proposée. Hors, réaliser ces extractions indépendamment pose les problèmes des ressources nécessaires (mémoire, temps d'exécution et accès aux données) et de l'unification des résultats. Nous proposons une approche originale pour extraire différentes catégories de modèles de connaissances tout en utilisant un minimum de ressources. Cette approche est basée sur la théorie des ensembles fermés et utilise une nouvelle structure de données pour extraire des représentations conceptuelles minimales de règles d'association, bi-clusters et règles de classification. Ces modèles étendent les règles d'association et de classification et les bi-clusters classiques, les listes d'objets supportant chaque modèle et les relations hiérarchiques entre modèles étant également extraits. Cette approche a été appliquée pour l'analyse de données d'interaction protéomiques entre le virus VIH-1 et l'homme. L'analyse de ces interactions entre espèces est un défi majeur récent en bio-informatique. Plusieurs bases de données intégrant des informations hétérogènes sur les interactions et des connaissances biologiques sur les protéines ont été construites. Les résultats expérimentaux montrent que l'approche proposée peut traiter efficacement ces bases de données et que les modèles conceptuels extraits peuvent aider à la compréhension et à l'analyse de la nature des relations entre les protéines interagissant.

Knowledge pattern extraction is one of the major topics in the data mining and background knowledge integration domains. Out of several data mining techniques, association rule mining and bi-clustering are two major complementary tasks for these topics. These tasks gained much importance in many domains in recent years. However, no approach was proposed to perform them in one process. This poses the problems of resources required (memory, execution times and data accesses) to perform independent extractions and of the unification of the different results. We propose an original approach for extracting different categories of knowledge patterns while using minimum resources. This approach is based on the frequent closed patterns theoretical framework and uses a novel suffix-tree based data structure to extract conceptual minimal representations of association rules, bi-clusters and classification rules. These patterns extend the classical frameworks of association and classification rules, and bi-clusters as data objects supporting each pattern and hierarchical relationships between patterns are also extracted. This approach was applied to the analysis of HIV-1 and human protein-protein interaction data. Analyzing such inter-species protein interactions is a recent major challenge in computational biology. Cette thèse porte sur des problèmes d'exploration de données avec le point de vue de la recherche opérationnelle. L'exploration de données consiste en l'apprentissage de nouvelles connaissances à partir d'observations contenues dans une base de données. La nature des problèmes rencontrés dans ce domaine est proche de celle des problèmes de la recherche opérationnelle: grandes instances, objectifs complexes et difficulté algorithmique. L'exploration de données peut aussi se modéliser comme un problème d'optimisation avec un objectif partiellement connu. Cette thèse se divise en deux parties. La première est une introduction à l'exploration de données. Elle présente l'Analyse Combinatoire de Données (ACD), une méthode d'exploration de données issue de l'optimisation discrète. Cette méthode est appliquée à des données médicales originales et une extension aux problèmes d'analyse de temps de survie est proposée. L'analyse de temps de survie consiste à modéliser le temps avant un événement (typiquement un décès ou une rechute). Les heuristiques proposées utilisent des techniques classiques de recherche opérationnelle telles que la programmation linéaire en nombres entiers, la décomposition de problème, des algorithmes gloutons. La seconde partie est plus théorique et s'intéresse à deux problèmes combinatoires rencontrés dans le domaine de l'exploration de données. Le premier est un problème de partitionnement de graphes en sous-graphes denses pour l'apprentissage non supervisé. Nous montrons la complexité algorithmique de ce problème et nous proposons un algorithme polynomial basé sur la programmation dynamique lorsque le graphe est un arbre. Cet algorithme repose sur des résultats de la théorie des couplages. Le second problème est une généralisation des problèmes de couverture par les tests pour la sélection d'attributs. Les lignes d'une matrice sont coloriées en deux couleurs. L'objectif est de trouver un sous-ensemble minimum de colonnes tel que toute paire de lignes avec des couleurs différentes restent distinctes lorsque la matrice est restreinte au sous-ensemble de colonnes. Nous montrons des résultats de complexité ainsi que des bornes serrées sur la taille des solutions optimales pour différentes structures de matrices.

This thesis focuses on some data mining problems with an operations research point of view. Data mining is the process of learning new knowledge from large datasets. The problems in this field are close to the ones encountered in operations research: Large instances, complex objectives and algorithmic difficulty. Moreover, learning knowledge from a dataset can be viewed as a particular optimization problem with a partially known objective function. This thesis is divided into two main parts. Les villes sont confrontées à de nombreuses problématiques environnementales. Leurs gestionnaires ont besoin d'outils et d'une bonne connaissance de leur territoire. Un objectif est de mieux comprendre comment s'articulent les trames grise et verte pour les analyser et les représenter. Il s'agit aussi de proposer une méthodologie pour cartographier la structure urbaine à l'échelle des tissus en tenant compte de ces trames. Les bases de données existantes ne cartographient pas la végétation de manière exhaustive. Ainsi la première étape est d'extraire la végétation arborée et herbacée à partir d'images satellites Pléiades par une analyse orientée-objet et une classification par apprentissage actif. Sur la base de ces classifications et de données multi-sources, la cartographie des tissus se base sur une démarche d'extraction de connaissances à partir d'indicateurs issus de l'urbanisme et de l'écologie du paysage. Cette méthodologie est construite sur Strasbourg puis appliquée à Rennes.

Climate change presents cities with significant environmental challenges. Urban planners need decision-making tools and a better knowledge of their territory. One objective is to better understand the link between the grey and the green infrastructures in order to analyse and represent them. The second objective is to propose a methodology to map the urban structure at urban fabric scale taking into account the grey and green infrastructures. In current databases, vegetation is not mapped in an exhaustive way. Therefore the first step is to extract tree and grass vegetation using Pléiades satellite images using an object-based image analysis and an active learning classification. Based on those classifications and multi-sources data, an approach based on knowledge discovery in databases is proposed. It is focused on set of indicators mostly coming from urbanism and landscape ecology. The methodology is built on Strasbourg and applied on Rennes to validate and check its reproducibility.

Le sujet principal de cette thèse porte sur la fouille de données numériques et plus particulièrement de données d'expression de gènes. Ces données caractérisent le comportement de gènes dans diverses situations biologiques (temps, cellule, etc.). Un problème important consiste à établir des groupes de gènes partageant un même comportement biologique. Cela permet d'identifier les gènes actifs lors d'un processus biologique, comme par exemple les gènes actifs lors de la défense d'un organisme face à une attaque. Le cadre de la thèse s'inscrit donc dans celui de l'extraction de connaissances à partir de données biologiques. Nous nous proposons d'étudier comment la méthode de classification conceptuelle qu'est l'analyse formelle de concepts (AFC) peut répondre au problème d'extraction de familles de gènes. Pour cela, nous avons développé et expérimenté diverses méthodes originales en nous appuyant sur une extension peu explorée de l'AFC : les structures de patrons. Plus précisément, nous montrons comment construire un treillis de concepts synthétisant des familles de gènes à comportement similaire. L'originalité de ce travail est (i) de construire un treillis de concepts sans discrétisation préalable des données de manière efficace, (ii) d'introduire une relation de similarité entres les gènes et (iii) de proposer des ensembles minimaux de conditions nécessaires et suffisantes expliquant les regroupements formés. Les résultats de ces travaux nous amènent également à montrer comment les structures de patrons peuvent améliorer la prise de décision quant à la dangerosité de pratiques agricoles dans le vaste domaine de la fusion d'information

The main topic of this thesis addresses the important problem of mining numerical data, and especially gene expression data. These data characterize the behaviour of thousand of genes in various biological situations (time, cell, etc.).A difficult task consists in clustering genes to obtain classes of genes with similar behaviour, supposed to be involved together within a biological process.Accordingly, we are interested in designing and comparing methods in the field of knowledge discovery from biological data. We propose to study how the conceptual classification method called Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) can handle the problem of extracting interesting classes of genes. For this purpose, we have designed and experimented several original methods based on an extension of FCA called pattern structures. Furthermore, we show that these methods can enhance decision making in agronomy and crop sanity in the vast formal domain of information fusion

▼ Procedimentos analíticos espectrofotométricos foram desenvolvidos empregando etapas de separação e pré-concentração em sistemas de análises em fluxo com multi-impulsão ou lab-in-syringe, com aplicação a amostras de interesse agronômico (ferro em materiais vegetais e alimentos) e ambiental (cianeto dissociável em ácidos, ferro e antimônio em águas). A determinação de cianeto explorou a descoloração do complexo formado entre Cu(I) e ácido 2-2´-biquinolino-4,4´-dicarboxílico (BQA) pela presença de CN-, após a separação de HCN por difusão gasosa. Espectrofotometria com longo caminho óptico foi empregada para aumentar a sensibilidade, com resposta linear entre 5 e 200 g L-1, limite de detecção, coeficiente de variação (n = 10) e frequência de amostragem de 2,0 g L-1, 1,5% e 22 h-1, respectivamente. O procedimento consumiu apenas 48 ng de Cu(II), 5,0 g de ácido ascórbico e 0,9 g de BQA por determinação e gerou 2,6 mL de efluente. Tiocianato, nitrito e sulfito não afetaram a determinação de cianeto e peróxido de hidrogênio evitou a interferência de sulfeto até 200 g L-1. Os resultados para as amostras de águas naturais foram concordantes com o procedimento fluorimétrico em fluxo com 95% de confiança. Novas estratégias foram propostas para a extração em ponto nuvem (EPN) em fluxo: (i) a fase rica em surfactante foi retida diretamente na cela de fluxo, evitando a diluição; (ii) microbombas solenoide foram exploradas para melhorar a mistura e modular a vazão na retenção e remoção da fase rica, evitando a eluição com solvente orgânico e (iii) o calor liberado e os sais fornecidos por uma reação de neutralização em linha foram explorados para indução do ponto nuvem, sem dispositivo externo de aquecimento. Estas inovações foram demonstradas pela determinação espectrofotométrica de ferro baseada no complexo com 1-(2-tiazolilazo)-2-naftol (TAN). Resposta linear foi observada entre 10 e 200 g L-1, com limite de detecção, coeficiente de variação e frequência de amostragem de 5 g L-1, 2,3% (n = 7) e 26 h-1, respectivamente. O fator de enriquecimento foi de 8,9 com consumo apenas de 6 g de TAN e 390 g de Triton X-114 por determinação. Os resultados para amostras de águas foram concordantes com o procedimento de referência e os obtidos para digeridos de materiais de referência de alimentos concordaram com os valores certificados. A determinação espectrofotométrica de antimônio foi realizada explorando pela primeira vez a EPN em sistema lab-in-syringe. O complexo iodeto e antimônio forma um par iônico com H+, que pode ser extraído com Triton X-114. Planejamento fatorial demonstrou que as concentrações de ácido ascórbico, H2SO4 e Triton X-114, bem como as interações de segunda e de terceira ordem foram significativas (95% de confiança). Planejamento Box-Behnken foi aplicado para a identificação dos valores críticos. Robustez com 95% de confiança, resposta linear entre 5 e 50 g L-1, limite de detecção, coeficiente de variação (n = 5) e frequência de amostragem foram estimados em 1,8 g L-1, 1,6% e 16 h-1, respectivamente.
