[pt] A presente tese versa sobre o tema da acolhida da fé no contexto multicultural. Pretende-se evidenciar as contribuições oferecidas pela teologia de Karl Rahner para o crer hoje. Para tanto, acredita-se que seja pertinente a chave de leitura da inculturação da fé. Com esse intuito e fundamentada na teologia do autor, essa pesquisa visa destacar os elementos indispensáveis para pensar a fé e a inculturação. Deste modo, coube num primeiro momento elucidar em que consiste o diálogo entre fé e cultura, para em seguida, com base no método antropológicoteológico transcendental de Rahner e na perspectiva de sua compreensão de Revelação e fé, assinalar como sua reflexão ajuda a pensar tal relação. São, então, fundamentais as noções centrais do seu pensamento, tais como a de: Deusmistério e sua autocomunicação, a da experiência que a pessoa faz de si e de Deus, a da intrínseca relação entre fé e vida, a da relação entre a dimensão existencial e sobrenatural da Revelação e da Fé, e, por fim, a da unidade do amor ao ser humano e a Deus. Do mesmo modo, merecem destaque os diferentes aspectos inerentes à fé, como: a razão, a emoção, a dimensão espiritual... Neste âmbito, as diferentes culturas mostram que tais dimensões completam-se e são determinantes para a unidade da fé. Igualmente determinante é a verdade de que é no bojo da nossa cultura que se experimenta Deus e é nela que Ele se revela para nós. Rahner, assim, enfatiza a estreita relação entre fé e experiência e atribui um papel indispensável à mistagogia. Ou seja, o processo de, com base na experiência humana, conduzir a pessoa ao mistério indisponível.

[en] This thesis addresses the theme of acceptance of faith in a multicultural context. We intend to highlight the contributions of Karl Rahner’s theology for contemporary believing, and therefore we consider the conception of inculturation to be appropriate. The research then aims to highlight the essential elements to be taken into account when it comes to thinking faith and inculturation. We firstly clarify what constitutes the dialogue between faith and culture. Then we focus on the author’s understanding on such relation on the basis of his transcendentalanthropological method in theology and his understanding of revelation and faith. Consequently, the fundamental notions of his thinking are central. We refer to notions like the one of God as a mystery and his self-communication, the personal experience of the self and God, the intrinsic relationship between faith and life, the relationship between the existential and supernatural dimension of Revelation and faith, and the unity of love of man and God. Likewise, we note the different aspects related to faith, such as: reason, emotion and spiritual dimension. In this sense, the different cultures show that such dimensions are complementary and crucial to the unity of faith. [pt] A salvação cristã representa o desejo inequívoco de Deus para todo ser humano e para toda teia complexa que faz parte e comporta sua realidade existencial, não ficando nada de fora, de maneira que quanto mais se realiza a pessoa humana, tanto mais ela se salva. Contudo, essa compreensão salvífica foi, ao longo dos tempos, perdendo essa compreensão o que provocou um encolhimento e mesmo um recolhimento subjetivo que marcou presença num estado de ser religioso que se tornou ressentido do mundo e da vida. Ressentimento esse que refluiu corrosivamente para o interior da espiritualidade cristã e que também esboroou a percepção da verdadeira imagem de Deus por parte daqueles que não transitam pela trilha da fé, criando fantasmas e equívocos que só fizeram separar aqueles que deviam trilhar juntos o caminho do dom, da comunhão e da liberdade de ser, a saber, Deus e a pessoa humana. Cônscios de que nesse quadro a maneira pela qual se exprimia essa relação com Deus (em especial quando essa expressão aparece deslocada em relação às novas bases da sensibilidade cultural moderna) foi, em sua medida, um dos motivos da contradição na ideia de salvação que trataremos, nessa dissertação, apoiados em parte da obra de Andrés Torres Queiruga, de reinterpretar o tema da salvação em profundo diálogo com as categorias do nosso tempo e em profunda sintonia com aquele que é o núcleo inconfundível para toda fé cristã: Deus é amor. Disso dependerá nossa coerência teológica no que tange atualizar a mensagem e a realidade que se desprende do tema da salvação enquanto realidade já presente e coerente com a realidade antropológica da pessoa humana, até aquele momento em que esta é elevada à profundidade de sua realização/salvação plena.

[en] Christian salvation is the unequivocal desire of God for every human being and the whole complex web that forms a part and involves its existential reality, not getting anything out, so that the more one realizes the human person, the more it saves. However, this understanding of salvation was, over time, losing that understanding what caused a shrinking and even a subjective gathering that was present in a state of being religious that became resentful of the world and life. This resentment that corrosively flowed into the Christian spirituality and also crumbled the perception of the true image of God by those who do not travel the path of faith, creating ghosts and mistakes that only separate those who should walk together the path of the gift , communion and the freedom of being, namely, God and human person. [pt] Esta dissertação tem por objetivo apontar, através de um estudo teológicopastoral, a dimensão escatológica de artigos extraídos dos aspectos considerados essenciais para a evangelização, os quais percorrem na Exortação Apostólica Evangelii Nuntiandi, do Papa Paulo VI, fruto do Sínodo dos Bispos de 1974. Afirmamos, nesta pesquisa, a relevância da dimensão escatológica, na Evangelização do Mundo Contemporâneo. Ressaltamos a pouca reflexão e aplicação da orientação escatológica na prática evangelizadora da Igreja, sobretudo nas camadas populares. E a apontamos como uma perspectiva de renovação esperançosa para a evangelização atual. A Evangelii Nuntiandi, ao trazer em seu conteúdo o desejo de dar respostas ao Mundo Moderno, tem-se preocupado em esclarecer essa perspectiva escatológica da evangelização, possibilitando um novo olhar para toda a Igreja, dessa valiosa dimensão, que se funda no núcleo central da fé no Deus da vida, que quis salvar a humanidade a partir da história, até sua plena realização na eternidade.

[fr] Cette dissertation a pour objectif d`indiquer, au moyen d`une étude théologique pastoral, la dimension escatologique d`articles extraits des aspects considérés essentiels à l`évangélisation, lesquels parcourent dans l`Exhortation Apostolique Evangelii Nuntiandi du Pape Paul VI, fruit du Synode des Évêques de 1974. Nous affirmons, dans cette recherche, la pertinence de la dimension eschatologique comme essentielle à l`évangélisation du Monde Contemporain. Nous avons souligné qu`il y a peu de réflexion et d`application de l`orientation eschatologique dans l`action évangélisatrice de l`Eglise, surtout dans les couches populaires. Et nous avons indiqué comme une perspective de renouvellement plein d espoir pour l`évangélisation actuelle. L’Evangelii Nuntiandi, en portant dans son contenu le désir de donner des réponses au Monde Moderne, a le souci de éclairer cette perspective eschatologique de l`évangélisation et de donner un nouveau regard à toute l`Église de cette dimension précieuse qui est fondée dans le noyau central de la foi au Dieu de la vie, qui voulait sauver l`humanité, qui commence dans l`histoire jusqu à sa réalisation pleine dans l`éternité.

[pt] O mal é uma realidade que sempre causou comoção e perplexidade na humanidade. Diante dele, muitos e diversos sistemas de sentido foram criados pelas sociedades a fim de fazer frente aos questionamentos que o absurdo dos sofrimentos físicos e morais trazem para a consciência humana. A fé cristã defende que a salvação definitiva do mal encontra-se em Jesus Cristo, o revelador definitivo da presença divina junto ao ser humano que busca uma saída para as contradições da existência. Porém, apesar da esperança despertada pela páscoa de Jesus Cristo, e mesmo diante das expectativas das primeiras comunidades cristãs quanto ao fim iminente dos sofrimentos deste mundo, o mal persiste como realidade fria e cruel. Como conciliar a fé em Jesus Cristo como Salvador universal e a persistência da realidade do mal na história? Para o teólogo espanhol Andrés Torres Queiruga, qualquer tentativa de resposta cristã a esta pergunta deve ser fiel ao rosto amoroso do Deus revelado por Jesus Cristo. Porém, não pode desprezar também outros dois fatores: o primeiro, o advento da modernidade, com a sua consciência de autonomia do ser humano e do cosmos, e que desconfia de toda e qualquer defesa de intervenções empíricas de Deus na realidade imanente; o segundo, o rigor do conceito, ou seja, uma reflexão que seja incansável na busca de uma lógica do discurso, mesmo se tratando de um assunto tão difícil, evitando atribuir rapidamente ao mistério aquilo que é fruto da incoerência ou da insuficiência da reflexão.

[en] The Evil is a reality which has always caused shock and astonishment to people. According to it, several different sense systems have been created by society in order to answer questions about physical and moral damages that are brought to human consciousness. The Christian faith holds that the ultimate salvation from Evil is in Jesus Christ, the definitve revelation of God’s presence with the human being who seeks a way out of the contradictions of existence. However, despite the hope awaken by the easter of Jesus Christ, and even with the expectations of the earliest Christian communities about the imminent end the suffering of this world, the Evil remains as a cold and cruel reality. How to deal with teh faith in Jesus Christ as the universal savior and the persistence of the Evil in history? According to the Spanish theologian Andrés Torres Queiruga, any attempt to the Christian answer to this question must be similar to the loving face of God revealed by Jesus Christ. But, we cannot forget about the other two facts: first, the rising of modernity, with its consciousness of human autonomy and the cosmos, and that it is suspicious of any defense of empirical interventions of God immanent in reality; the second one; the rigor of the concept, this way we have a reflection that is restless in the search of a logical discourse, even when it is related to a so difficult subject, avoiding sticking to the result of the inconherence and failed consideration of the mistery quickly.

[pt] Dentre os elementos da liturgia cristã, o memorial é de grande importância, uma vez que atualiza os feitos divinos ao longo da história da salvação, trazendo para hoje sua força redentora, e abrindo aos participantes do culto uma perspectiva de futuro. O memorial está ligado estreitamente à Aliança de Deus com Abraão e sua descendência, que atinge seu ponto alto em Jesus Cristo. O passo seguinte se verifica nas realidades sacramentais, nos quais a comunidade dos fiéis experimenta a salvação. Percorrendo, portanto, a etapas da economia salvífica, pode-se perceber o memorial como continuação da obra redentora de Cristo, redentor único e universal.

[en] Among the elements of Christian liturgy, the memorial has main importance, since it actualizes the divine actions through the history of salvation, bringing today its redeeming force, and opens a perspective of future to the participants of the cult. The memorial is deeply linked to Gods alliance with Abraham and his descendants, which reaches its most important step with Jesus Christ. The next point is verified in the sacramental realities, in which the faithful community experiences salvation. Going through economy of salvation, it is possible to notice the memorial as continuing the redemption of Christ, the only universal redeemer.

[pt] Pessoas reunidas sob uma convicção religiosa comum, para o exercício de alguma atividade cúltica, é fato recorrente nas mais diversas tradições religiosas. Para o cristianismo, entretanto, a reunião dos cristãos alcança um significado de todo particular e reveste-se de uma responsabilidade ímpar. Ela é sacramento – sinal evocativo, mas, ao mesmo tempo, experiência daquilo que é evocado – da própria salvação. Sua realidade está tão entranhada na trama do acontecimento salvífico, que não lhe cabe ser considerada à parte, nem é possível conhecê-la verdadeiramente por uma razão fechada às possibilidades da fé. Esta dissertação propõe-se, então, a perseguir e desenvolver as indicações que apontam para uma teologia da assembleia litúrgica, tendo em vista o lugar que, desde o Concílio Vaticano II, vem sendo reservado à realidade assembleal. A impostação da pesquisa é histórico-salvífica e sacramental: reunindo elementos de teologia bíblica e de eclesiologia litúrgica, conectados por incursões no quadro histórico, nosso trabalho apresenta a assembleia como lugar mistérico onde se revela e consuma o desígnio divino de salvação. Ao celebrar o memorial da Páscoa de Cristo e os outros sinais irradiadores da graça do mistério pascal, a assembleia manifesta e ratifica sua condição sacramental e sacerdotal, ministerial e participativa, contingente e teologal, histórica e escatológica. [en] People gathered under a common religious belief, to the exercise of any cultic activity, is a recurring fact in various religious traditions. For Christianity, however, the meeting of the Christians reaches a very particular significance and a special responsibility. It is the sacrament – an evocative sign and, at the same time, experience of what is evoked – of salvation. Its reality is so ingrained into the net of the salvific event, it cannot be considered separately, nor is it truly known by a reason closed to the possibilities of faith. Then, this dissertation proposes to pursue and develop the indications that point to a theology of the liturgical assembly, considering the place that has been destined to the assembleal reality. The approach of our research is historical-saving and sacramental: bringing together elements of biblical theology and liturgical ecclesiology, connected by incursions into historical context, our work shows the assembly as the mysterical place where is revealed and consummated the divine plan of salvation. Celebrating the memorial of Christ’s Passover and the other signs of the Paschal Mystery, the assembly expresses and confirms its sacramental and priestly, ministry and participative, historical and eschatological condition. Answers, finally, the Trinity’s call, blown in creation, verbalized in Sinai and embodied in Christ.

[pt] Criação e Salvação são dois conceitos teológicos preciosos à teologia cristã. Uma errônea compreensão da relação entre estes conceitos repercutem sobre todas as esferas da vida cristã, especialmente em sua compreensão de compromisso e valorização do mundo. O presente trabalho procura refletir a teologia cristã da Criação e Salvação na atualidade, em um ambiente marcado pela racionalidade. Levando em consideração a herança teológica da teologia da Criação e Salvação que chegou até nós marcadamente dualista em sua visão de natureza e graça, encarnação e Criação, alma e corpo, etc., examinamos o pensamento teológico de Adolphe Gesché procurando elementos que nos ofereçam caminhos de superação da ruptura entre os dois conceitos teológicos e que estejam em condições de falar ao homem pósmoderno e de dialogar com as demais ciências, principalmente filosofia e antropologia.

[en] Criation and Salvation are two precious theological concepts to the Christian Theology. A wrong comprehension of the relation between these two concepts reverberates on every sphere of the christian life, especially in its vision of commitment and appreciation of the world. The present work intends to reflect the christian theology of Criation and Salvation in the present time, in an envirionment characterized by rationality. Taking into consideration the theological heritage of the theology of Criation and Salvation that has come to us deeply dualistic in its view of nature and grace, encarnation and Criation, soul and body, etc., we examine the theological thinking of Adolphe Gesché, looking for elements that offer paths to overcome the rupture between the two theological concepts, which are in conditions to talk to the post modern man and discuss with the other sciences, mainly philosophy and anthropology.

[pt] Esta pesquisa tem por finalidade investigar teologicamente a proposta salvífica da APAC – Associação de Proteção e Assistência aos Condenados. A partir da observação diacrônica das funções antropológicas da pena, perpassando o contexto prisional brasileiro, apresenta o específico objeto material da tese, a APAC, em sua atuação no Brasil desde 1974. A realidade carcerária no Brasil necessita de efetiva e radical transformação. Este assunto tem sido estudado por diversas ciências, cabendo à teologia também pronunciar sua palavra específica. Por isso, em seguida, a tese percorre diacrônica e sincronicamente os conceitos de salvação cristã, central para toda a teologia, procurando identificar algumas de suas características irrenunciáveis. Conta, para isso, com a contribuição de alguns teólogos como Karl Rahner, Jürgen Moltmann, Joseph Moingt, Walter Kasper, dentre outros, que ajudarão a rever os conceitos salvíficos imprescindíveis para fins desta tese. A partir do confronto entre a proposta carcerária da APAC e o conceito de salvação cristã, a tese busca responder à questão sobre a viabilidade ou não da pedagogia da APAC, bem como indicar algumas questões mais amplas para a realidade carcerária brasileira e para a presença das igrejas cristãs no mundo carcerário.

[en] This research intends to investigate theologically the salvific proposal of APAC - Association of Protection and Assistance to the Convicted. From the diachronic observation of the anthropological functions of the pen through the Brazilian prison context, it presents the specific material object of the thesis, APAC, in its action in Brazil since 1974. The prison situation in Brazil needs an effective and radical transformation. This subject has been studied by several sciences, and it is up to theology to pronounce its specific word. For this reason, this thesis studies the concept of Christian salvation, a central concept to all theology, trying to identify some of its inalienable characteristics. It counts on the contribution of some theologians such as Karl Rahner, Jurgen Moltmann, Joseph Moingt and Walter Kasper, among others, who will help to review the essential contents of Cristian salvation salvific, so important for the purpose of this thesis. At the end, it answers the question about the viability or not of APAC pedagogy, as well as indicates some broader issues for the Brazilian prison situation and for the presence of the Christian churches in the prisoners world.

[pt] O Livro de Jonas fala da abertura de YHWH à conversão, mesmo aos povos estrangeiros. Não há mais, nesse ponto, a exclusividade de Israel, embora este tenha um papel no plano de Deus em vista do mundo todo. É Jonas quem deve anunciar em Nínive os motivos da aceitação deste retorno que será a própria misericórdia de Deus e a sincera e operante conversão humana. A narrativa coloca um problema de teodicéia: mesmo um povo que fez mal a Israel pode ser perdoado por YHWH? Apresenta-se a questão justiça divina. Este estudo fundamenta-se na pesquisa dos trabalhos realizados por diversos estudiosos nos últimos anos, adquire maior relevância, uma vez que o livro de Jonas carrega uma densa mensagem de justiça e de misericórdia de YHWH no que concerne ao universalismo da salvação. O desenvolvimento da presente pesquisa se dá pela aplicação do método histórico-crítico, porém, pretendemos dar um enfoque que escape a simples leitura diacrônica ou sincrônica. Podendo ser uma combinação destes dois aspectos, colocando-os como elementos para uma melhor compreensão dos aspectos prevalentes do estudo, a fim de proporcionar uma base crítica aceitável sobre o capítulo em estudo. Inicia-se com a tradução do texto, seguida pela delimitação, a datação e sua organização. Segue-se com a análise exegética em seus aspectos formais, redacionais e teológicos. Passa-se à verificação das correspondências terminológicas, temáticas e teológicas entre o texto e o restante do livro. A partir de um estudo acurado de Jn 4,1-11 chegamos à conclusão que este capítulo é chave de leitura para o livro e responde à questão concernente ao universalismo da salvação.

[fr] Le Livre de Jonas traite de l ouverture de YHWH à la conversion, même aux peuples étrangers. Il n y a plus à ce moment - là l exclusivité d Israël, bien que ce pays-ci ait un rôle sur le plan de Dieu visant le monde entier. C est Jonas qui doit annoncer à Ninive les raisons de l acceptation de ce retour qui sera la miséricorde même de Dieu et la sincère et opérante conversion humaine. La narration aborde un problème de théodicée: même si un peuple a fait du mal à Israël peut être pardonné par YHWH? La question de la justice divine se présente. Cette étude se base sur les recherche des travaux réalisés par divers studieux les dernières années. Elle acquiert une plus grande importance, une fois que le livre de Jonas porte un dense message de justice et de miséricorde de YHWH en ce qui concerne l universalisme du salut. Le développement de la présente recherche a lieu par l application de la méthode historique-critique. Cependant, nous envisageons échapper à la simple lecture diachronique ou synchronique. Cela peut être une combinaison de ces deux aspects de l étude. Nous commençons avec la traduction du texte, suivie par la délimitation, la datation et son organisation. Puis, vient l analyse exégétique avec ses aspects formels, rédactionnels et théologiques. [pt] A presente tese traz como título: A força salvífica da mortificação - Proposta de uma nova reflexão teológico-pastoral acerca da mortificação cristã. Ela aborda toda a problemática que envolve a teologia e a práxis da mortificação cristã, desde a origem da palavra ascese na filosofia antiga greco-romana, passando pelo surgimento da teologia da mortificação nos antigos manuais de ascética e mística, até a proposta de uma nova reflexão teológico-pastoral sobre o assunto. Esta pesquisa contribuirá primeiramente para a identificação e compreensão dos equívocos que marcaram tanto a teologia como a práxis da mortificação. Notadamente a influência do dualismo neoplatônico e do estoicismo na antropologia cristã, que resultou na visão dualista da realidade e numa espiritualidade marcada pelas penitências exageradas. Esta tese irá propor como solução, para restaurar o verdadeiro sentido da mortificação, uma nova reflexão teológica alicerçada numa antropologia de integração. Esta nova concepção antropológica também considera a pluralidade de dimensões do ser humano, porém é capaz de integrá-las sempre na unidade fundamental que é a pessoa humana concreta. Evita, desse modo, o erro do passado, quando a mortificação foi reduzida a penitências corporais. Mortificação era sinônimo de disciplina do corpo. A partir da antropologia de integração, mortificação será disciplina da pessoa, para vencer o homem velho, o Adão pecador. Essa pesquisa também abordará a contribuição do pensamento e da vida de Madre Maria Teresa de Jesus Eucarístico a este processo de recuperação do verdadeiro sentido da mortificação cristã. Por fim, ainda contribuirá esse trabalho para o resgate do valor positivo da disciplina, como imperativo antropológico para a vida cristã.

[fr] La presente thèse apporte comme titre: La force salvifique de la mortification - Proposée d une nouvelle réflexion théologique-pastoral concernant la mortification chrétienne. Elle aborde toute la problématique et l exercice de la mortification chrétiene, depuis l origine du mot ascèse dans la philosophie grecque, en passant par le bourgeonnement de la théologie de la mortification dans les anciens manuels d ascétique et mystique, jusque la proposition d une nouvelle réflexion théologique sur le sujet. Cette recherche contribuera primièrement à l identification et à la compréhension des erreurs qui ont marqué la théologie ainsi que l exercice de la mortification. Précisément l influence du dualisme neo-platonicien et de l estoicisme dans l anthropologie chrétienne, qu a resulté dans la vision dualiste de la realité et dans une spiritualité caractérisée par les pénitences exagérées. [pt] Esta tese elabora as visões teológico-sacramentais desses autores, colocando em relevo elementos centrais da sacramentalidade da Revelação e da Fé. Em tais visões, colocamos em realce que a sacramentalidade da história salvífica alcança a sua plena expressão na pessoa de Jesus Cristo, porque por meio dEle nos é manifestada a totalidade do Ser de Deus. Com a Revelação Deus entra em diálogo pessoal com o ser humano na história. Esse diálogo conhece seu cume e expressão definitiva em Cristo, graças à sua humanidade. No centro da história da revelaçãosalvação está o homem Jesus, que atua de forma verdadeiramente humana e histórica. O modo de revelar introduzido por Jesus é insuperável e, por conseguinte, normativo. Por isso ele fundou sua Igreja, sacramento da sua presença: de fato, a sacramentalidade da Igreja lança uma ponte sobre o afastamento ou desproporção que existe entre o Cristo celeste e a humanidade não glorificada, e torna possível o encontro humano recíproco entre Cristo e a humanidade, após a Sua ascensão. [en] The theme develops the theological-sacramental views of both authors putting the accent on central elements of the sacramentality of Revelation and Faith. It emphasizes that the sacramentality of Savific History reaches it’s plenty expression in the person of Jesus Christ, for trough Him the totality of God’s being is us revealed. In the Revelation God enters in a personal dialog with the human being, in the history. This dialog finds it’s higher point and it’s definitive expression in Christ, due to His humanity. In the center of the history of salvation- Revelation in the man Jesus, who acts in a truly human and historic way. The way of acting Revelation introduced by Jesus is insuperable, and therefore, normative. But, with His death, resurrection and ascension in Heaven, it’s no longer possible to find him in a physical, corporal, in other words sacramental form. Therefore he had grounded His church, sacrament of His presence: in fact, the sacramenatlity of the church builds a bridge over the separation or disproportion that exists between the heavenly Christ and the not glorified Humanity, and makes it possible the reciprocal human encounter between Christ and the humanity after. The Church is shaped in the Paschal Mystery, it receives the blow of the Spirit in Pentecost and so it obtains the stature for which it was created and can finally assume the mission it was destined for: making present the mystery of the Son of God made man and inviting every man to enter in the last and definitive form…

[pt] A ética ambiental, um campo relativamente novo na reflexão teológica, apresenta diferentes modelos e tendências que nem sempre são pautados por uma visão integrada da realidade. O ser humano e a natureza não são realidades justapostas e antagônicas, mas são componentes distintos da comunidade biótica, que se organiza segundo uma dinâmica relacional e integradora. Superando dualismos e visões dicotômicas, uma ética ambiental de inspiração cristã deve integrar compromisso ecológico e justiça social, preservação do ambiente natural e respeito ao ambiente humano. Esta é a abordagem central de nossa tese que acentua a necessidade de um modelo de ética que, seguindo uma dinâmica de integração-inclusão, expresse a visão relacional e integradora da fé cristã em sintonia com outros campos do saber. A nossa pesquisa consiste em buscar um discurso ético, em perspectiva ecológica, fundamentada na teologia da criação-salvação e articulada criticamente com o paradigma ecológico e com o conceito geográfico de espaço.

[en] Environmental ethics, a relatively new field of theological reflection, presents models and approaches which do not always have an integrated vision of reality. Human beings and Environment are not separated and mutually opposed realities. On the contrary, one cannot be studied apart from the other, for they are distinct parts of the same biotic community that is organized in a relational and integrated dynamical structure. In order to overcome dualisms and reductionist viewpoints, an Environmental Ethic from a Christian perspective must integrate ecological commitment and social justice, that is, preservation of the natural world and respect for the human environment. This is the central approach of our dissertation. We stress the urgency of an ethical awareness that, following a dynamics of integration and inclusion, presents a mutually interacting perspective of the Christian faith which, at the same time, is in harmony with other fields of knowledge. Our research intends to seek an ethical reflection on environment which is grounded on creation-salvation theology and, at the same time, is critically articulated with the ecological paradigm and with geographical concept of space.

[pt] A proposta da dissertação é analisar como o Tupinambá se inscreve no universo da salvação do jesuíta Manuel da Nóbrega e do calvinista Jean de Léry, tendo como referência o jogo discursivo que se estabelece entre a escrita desses autores e o corpo ameríndio. Nas Cartas do Brasil (1549- 1560) e na Histoire d un voyage fait en la terre du Brésil (1578), pode-se verificar, respectivamente, que Nóbrega e Léry viajaram ao Novo Mundo engajados no âmbito das Reformas religiosas do século XVI. Entretanto, estes textos são diretamente marcados pela experiência dos autores com os Tupinambá. Tendo em vista a posição central que ocupa o corpo na sociedade Tupinambá e as preocupações teológicas, acentuadas pelas Reformas, sobre a relação entre corpo e salvação, a dissertação afirma a construção de uma representação ambígua e diferenciada do corpo ameríndio no universo da salvação do jesuíta e do calvinista. Identifica- se uma polarização entre a escrita desses autores e a nudez ameríndia, que teria servido como contraponto para a edificação das narrativas exemplares da salvação desses religiosos.

[fr] Le propos de cette dissertation est d analyser l insertion du Tupinambá dans l horizon du salut du jésuite Manuel da Nóbrega e du calviniste Jean de Léry, en ayant comme référence le jeu discursif qui s établit entre l écriture des auteurs et le corps amérindien. Dans les Cartas do Brasil (1549-1560) et dans l Histoire dun voyage fait en la terre du Brésil (1578), nous pouvons vérifier, respectivement, que les voyages de Nóbrega et de Léry au Nouveau Monde sont compris dans le contexte des Réformes religieuses du seizième siècle. Néanmoins, la rédaction de ces textes est directement affectée par l expérience des auteurs avec les Tupinambás. En vue de la position centrale du corps dans les sociétés Tupinambás et des problèmes théologiques concernant la relation entre le corps et le salut, suscités au cours des Réformes religieuses, la dissertation affirme la construction d une représentation ambiguë et differenciée du corps amérindien dans l horizon du salut du jésuite et du calviniste. Il s agit de mettre en évidence la polarisation entre l écriture de ces auteurs et la nudité amérindienne, qui semble servir comme contre- épreuve de l édification des récits exemplaires du salut de ces religieux.

[pt] O Evangelho segundo João desperta grande interesse pelas alusões, em preferência às citações, que faz do Antigo Testamento para anunciar a Boa Nova de Jesus, o Filho de Deus. Localizada na primeira unidade deste Evangelho, que aponta para a hora de Jesus, a perícope de Jo 3,1-12 é a primeira grande seção do diálogo com Nicodemos, um fariseu e um principal dentre os judeus, ali representando seus pares. O anúncio de um novo nascimento necessário de água e espírito, por obra do Espírito, para que se possa participar do escatológico Reino de Deus, é incompreendido por Nicodemos. A repreensão que lhe é dirigida evidencia que na base do anúncio está algum texto das Escrituras de Israel. A presente pesquisa encontrou texto próximo daquele em Ez 36,24-28, onde, ao disperso e desolado Israel, o Senhor promete purificação total e profunda renovação pela infusão do Seu espírito. A dissertação procedeu à análise exegética de Jo 3,1-12, situando-a em seu contexto amplo e imediato, à análise exegética de Ez 36,24-28 e à análise das relações intertextuais entre os dois, segundo os critérios de Markl. Os resultados apontaram significativas correspondências: em ambos se encontra o Senhor em diálogo com o Povo da Antiga Aliança, após o juízo sobre Jerusalém e o Templo, anunciando a salvação escatológica que se cumprirá para o Israel renovado, não necessariamente os descendentes na carne dos israelitas. Mas, o anúncio de João ultrapassa o de Ezequiel: os que recebem o Espírito Santo nascem como filhos de Deus.

[en] The Gospel according to John arouses great interest in the allusions of the Old Testament, in preference to the quotations, to announce the gospel of Jesus, the Son of God. Located in the first unit of this Gospel, which points to the hour of Jesus, Jn 3:1-12 is the first great section of the dialogue with Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a principal among the Jews, representing his peers there. The announcement of a necessary new birth of water and spirit, by the Spirit, to participate in the eschatological Kingdom of God, is misunderstood by Nicodemus. The rebuke directed to him shows that there s some text of Israel Scriptures at the base of the announcement. This research found a similar text in Eze 36:24-28, in which the Lord promisses, to the scattered and desolated Israel, total purification and deep renewal by the infusion of His spirit. The dissertation proceeded to the exegetical analysis of Jn 3:1-12, placing it in its broad and immediate context, to the exegetical analysis of Eze 36:24-28 and to the analysis of the intertextual relations between them, according to Markl s criteria. The results point to significant correspondences: in both the Lord is in dialogue with the People of the Old Covenant, after the judgment on Jerusalem and the Temple, announcing the eschatological salvation to be fulfilled for the renewed Israel, not necessarily descendants in the flesh of the israelites. But John s announcement goes beyond Ezekiel s: those who receive the Holy Spirit are born as children of God.

[pt] A revalorização da Sagrada Escritura na celebração litúrgica foi uma das grandes conquistas no tocante à reforma dos ritos promovida pelo Concílio Vaticano II. A partir desse evento, tanto o Magistério como a reflexão teológica amadureceram essa temática, inclusive rumando para uma perspectiva da Palavra de Deus sob a ótica da sua sacramentalidade nas ações litúrgicas. A presente tese, então, inicia-se com esta abordagem suscitada pelas intuições da Constituição Sacrosanctum Concilium. Em vista de aprofundar o tema da sacramentalidade da Palavra, o estudo em questão recorre à teologia patrística, mais precisamente, a de Ambrósio de Milão, com enfoque nas suas duas renomadas obras mistagógicas: De Sacramentis e De Mysteriis. Nelas, há o recurso à tipologia bíblica, cuja finalidade é conduzir os neófitos à experiência do mysterium. O método tipológico de Ambrósio procura demonstrar aos recém-batizados que a palavra eficaz de Deus, manifestada na história salvífica, continua realizando sua missão de resgatar a humanidade. À luz das instruções pós-batismais de Ambrósio, a pesquisa buscou encontrar elementos teológico-pastorais em relação à sacramentalidade da Palavra de Deus nas celebrações litúrgicas. A pregação mistagógica de Ambrósio, com efeito, se revela profundamente atual e se apresenta hoje como fonte de inspiração para que as nossas comunidades – ainda em processo de recepção das propostas do Concílio – façam a experiência litúrgico-assembleal das Escrituras. A contribuição ambrosiana, nesse sentido, tem a potência de fazer com que os cristãos descubram a eficácia salvífica da Palavra proclamada nas celebrações da Igreja e se tornem capazes de responder a essa mesma Palavra no culto e na vida.

[en] The revaluation of Holy Scripture in the liturgical celebration was one of the great achievements regarding the reform of the rites promoted by the Second Vatican Council. From this event, both the Magisterium and theological reflection have matured this theme, including moving towards a perspective of the Word of God from the viewpoint of his sacramentality in liturgical actions. The present thesis then begins with this approach raised by the intuitions of the Constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium. In order to deepen the theme of the sacramentality of the Word, the study in question uses patristic theology, more precisely, that of Ambrose of Milan, focusing on its two renowned mystagogical works: De Sacramentis and De Mysteriis. In them, there is the use of biblical typology, whose purpose is to lead the neophytes to the mysterium experience. Ambrose s typological method seeks to demonstrate to newly baptized that God s effective word manifested in saving history continues to fulfill its mission of redeeming humanity. In light of Ambrose s post-baptismal instructions, the research sought to find theological-pastoral elements in relation to the sacramentality of the Word of God in liturgical celebrations. [pt] A dissertação estuda, primeiramente, a atualidade do carisma de Enrique de Ossó, um apaixonado pela pessoa humana, que apresenta a proposta salvífica de Jesus Cristo. Sem ser teólogo, sua vida e seus escritos permitem extrair uma teologia testemunhal. No extrato de suas Cartas, apesar de uma linguagem teológica dualista própria do século XIX, evidencia-se a proposta integradora de pessoa humana, a partir da opção por Jesus Cristo. Ao divulgar os escritos teresianos, Enrique de Ossó apresenta Teresa de Ávila como mestra e protótipo de alguém que polarizou a vida em Jesus Cristo. Num segundo momento, e já no campo da reflexão teológica propriamente dita, com a contribuição de alguns teólogos da atualidade que estudam a temática, procura- se identificar, sumariamente, a visão antropológica integrada bíblico- cristã. A fé cristã, ao apresentar a salvação de Jesus Cristo, valoriza a pessoa humana na sua globalidade de aspectos ou dimensões. A Companhia de Santa Teresa de Jesus na atualidade, em suas linhas de ação, comunga com as intuições do seu fundador Enrique de Ossó, dando continuidade a uma formação e educação numa visão unitária de pessoa humana. Num terceiro momento são apresentadas algumas pistas a serviço da vida cristã e da pastoral, com a intenção de colaborar na superação do dualismo antropológico a partir da salvação de Jesus Cristo como proposta integradora da pessoa humana.

[en] This dissertation aims at studying, first, the actuality of Enrique de Ossó´s charism, a lover of human beings and who presents Jesus Christ´s saving proposal. Being not a theologian, his life and writing allow to convey a testimonial theology. In extracts of his Letters, in spite of a dual theological language proper of XIX century, it is noticed the integrating proposal for the human being, from the option for Jesus Christ. When publishing Teresa de Ávila´s writing, Enrique de Ossó presents her as a master and model of somebody who headed her life to Jesus Christ. Second, and in terms of theological consideration itself, with the contribution of some current theologians that study this theme, the aim is to identify briefly the christian biblical integrated anthropology. The christian faith when presents Jesus Christ´s salvation, values the human being in his/her global aspects or dimensions. The current Santa Teresa de Jesus´ Congregation, in its action plans, is in communion with its founder´s beliefs, Enrique de Ossó, continuing formation and education in a unitary view of human being. Finally, some clues for Christian life and pastoral service are presented, aiming at collaborating to overcome anthropologic dualism from Jesus Christ´s salvation as an integrating proposal for human being.

[pt] A índole escatológica da Igreja, como reflexão teológica, é muito pertinente, visto que trata da relação entre a estrutura visível da Igreja e aquela realidade pensada como meta última da atividade eclesial. A escatologia do Vaticano II trouxe à tona essa reflexão, quando salientou que a tensão escatológica entre o já e o ainda não faz parte da natureza do Novo Povo de Deus, e que, por isso mesmo, a Igreja é sinal e instrumento desta plenitude da esperança no meio da humanidade. Sendo um sinal, ela se torna, para o mundo, sacramento visível da unidade de gênero humano, com Deus e consigo mesma. Nossa pesquisa deseja enfocar a posição do Concílio Vaticano II acerca dessa situação-missão da Igreja, pois, para os Padres conciliares, a salvação prometida pelo Senhor já começou em Cristo, mas ainda não se consumou, porque o tempo da restauração de todas as coisas dar-se-á somente quando tudo estiver no Pai pelo Filho no Espírito. Então, neste instante, o homem e com ele toda a criação chegará à sua restauração final. Enquanto isso não acontecer, a Igreja é impelida a levar adiante a obra de santificação da humanidade, como missão imputada por Cristo na unidade do Espírito Santo. Esse trabalho quer, portanto, demonstrar como essa salvação de Cristo continua por meio da ação eclesial, que instrui seus filhos sobre o sentido da vida temporal, enquanto esperança dos bens futuros e compromisso com o Reino de Deus.

[en] The eschatological nature of the Church as theological reflection, it is very relevant, since it is the relationship between the visible structure of the Church and that dream reality as the ultimate goal of ecclesial activity. The eschatological nature of Vatican II brought up this discussion when he emphasized that the eschatological tension between the already and not yet is in the nature of the new people of God, and that, therefore, the Church is sign and instrument of fullness of Hope in the midst of humanity. As a sign, it becomes the world visible sacrament of the unity of mankind with God and with herself. Our research focuses on the position of Vatican II about the situation, the Church s mission, as for the Fathers, the salvation promised by the Lord already begun in Christ, but not yet consummated, because the time of the restoration of all things give will be only when all; the man and with him the whole creation reach its final restoration in Christ. In the meantime the church is compelled to carry on the work of sanctification of humanity as mission charged by Christ in the unity of the Holy Spirit. This work therefore want to show how the salvation of Christ continues through the action of the Church, instructing their children about the meaning of temporal life, as hope of eternal life and commitment to the Kingdom of God.

[pt] Em nosso atual contexto eclesiológico, descobrimos situações que ofendem a Tradição da Igreja e a eclesiologia de comunhão de Yves M.-J. Congar, cujos legados nos ensinam que a Igreja possui, na Trindade, sua origem, seu modelo, sua inspiração e meta, e que Deus, Único em Três Pessoas, assim o é, devido às relações intratrinitárias entre as Mesmas, garantidas pelo Espírito de Deus. Partindo do pressuposto relacional trinitário, buscamos elaborar, em Congar e outros autores de nossa atualidade, uma fundamentação teológica que privilegie a autonomia relacionada das Pessoas trinitárias como paradigma eclesiológico, para articular as relações de anseio de comunhão na Igreja. Esta, é Mistério radicado na Trindade e visibilizado ao mundo em suas diversas estruturas, às quais, pelo batismo, incorporam-se os membros ontologicamente iguais e ministerialmente diferentes, chamados todos à comunhão, celebrada, louvada e alimentada pela eucaristia, e que, no serviço ao mundo, encontra sua missão e consagração, a exemplo mesmo de Cristo. A Igreja, enviada como sinal de salvação à humanidade, é feita de humanos e, portanto, chamada à conversão. A comunhão é, portanto, na Igreja, o vinho novo, curtido e fermentado nos odres que buscamos ajudar a renovar, na dinâmica e potência do Espírito de Deus.

[en] On our actual ecclesiological context, we descover situations which hurts the Church Tradiction, and, also Y. M.-J. Congar s conception of the Ecclesiology of Communion, which inheritance teach us that the Trinity is the original model, inspiration and finality of the Church; and that God, Unique in Three Persons is so, because, of the intratrinitarian relations between themselves, guaranteed by the Spirit of God. Departing from the trinitarian relational presuposition, we have tried to elaborate, reflecting on Congar s theology and on other authors too, a theological foundation which privileges a relational autonomy of the Trinitarian Persons as an ecclesiological paradign in order to articulate the desire of communional relations in the Church. The Church is a Mystery embeded in the Trinity and made visible to the world through its diverse structures, to which, by the Baptism, are incorporated members ontologically equals and ministerially different, both called to communion between themselves and God. Communion is celebrated, praised and nourished by the Eucharist and must be a service to the world, field of Church s mission and consecration, following Christ s example. The Church sent to the world as a sign of human salvation is composed by human beings, who are called to conversion. So, communion is in the Church, a new wine, fermented and tanned in wine-skins which we have tried to renew under the potency and dynamic of the Spirit of God.

▼ [pt] O trabalho Criação e Salvação - Um estudo sobre a afirmação teológica da Criação e Salvação sob o dínamis do Espírito, segundo Pierre Gisel está dividido em quatro capítulos de modo a se perceber a seguinte estrutura metodológica. O primeiro capítulo discorre acerca dos pressupostos da problemática, enfocando o problema que envolve uma abordagem teológica, com as dificuldades de uma reflexão relacional. São tratadas as articulações que contribuíram e ainda contribuem para uma certa dissociação entre criação e salvação, no seio do cristianismo. Interpretações dualistas fizeram que o cristianismo tomasse outra direção, distanciando-se de sua base epistemológica. Com isso, passou a haver um descompromisso com a causa do humano, imagem e semelhança de Deus; e também um descompromisso com a própria criação. Quanto aos pressupostos da Modernidade, deixaram também sua marcas com o advento da Ciência Moderna, e a ênfase sobre a razão fez acontecer um desdobramento antropológico. Mas, há um resgsate teológico da criação e salvação. E, para isso os escritos de Pierre Gisel oferecem uma grande e profunda colaboração, conforme se observa no trabalho. O segundo e o terceiro capítulos formam a base da Tese, onde são analisados os fundamentos bíblicos e teológicos da criação e salvação, as dimensões teológicas resgatadoras e suas conseqüências antropológicas e cosmológicas. O segundo capítulo penetra profundamente nos textos das origens do mundo e do ser humano, com uma compreensão bíblica do Deus criador e salvador. Os horizontes de Gênesis 2.4b-3.24 mostram o Criador, a criação e o homem. Também em Gênesis 4 se observa a situação do homem diante do seu semelhante, e na seqüência a reafirmação do projeto criador de Deus no coração da história, e a cidade monolítica e totalitária com multipliação das línguas. Para compreensão do aspecto criacional faz-se ver também a releitura sacerdotal e a através da vias judaica e cristã, proporcionando à história do dogma da criação seus principais momentos subscritos no trabalho. Subscrição que tem a ver com a postura de alguns Padres da Igreja com suas reflexões inexoráveis. Quanto ao terceiro capítulo está voltado para as dimensões teológicas resgastadoras da criação e salvação. E, para compor essas ênfases a teologia de Pierre Gisel ocupou lugar indispensável. Dimensões que se apresentam como resgastadoras, com conseqüências antropológicas e cosmológicas. Afirmar o mundo como criação é viés teológico fundamental. O mundo como produto da Palavra e submetido à ordem dessa Palavra instituidora, com marca de profunda alteridade em exterioridade. Assim, a Escritura e a Tradição Teológica são configurações que indicam uma providência divina que cria, salva e governa. Dimensão que encontra no polo cristológico-pneumatológico a sua legítima identidade e sua dinâmica. A pessoa de Jesus Cristo como mediador da criação e da salvação é marcante no âmbito de um movimento dinâmico, segundo o Espírito, no sentido de haver uma realidade de Deus para fora. [pt] Durante um longo período o tema da afetividade esteve fora do discurso religioso. Este discurso religioso tendeu mais para a matiz da tradição grega, dando preferência para o discurso da razão na teologia. Contudo, a tradição cristã é formada pelo entrecruzamento de duas grandes Tradições religioso-culturais: a referida Tradição grega, baseada no discurso racional; e a Tradição semita, baseada na antropologia do coração, onde o conhecimento é visto como sabedoria e amor. Isso indica que, por detrás do componente afetivo existe uma real possibilidade de se conhecer, experienciar e, conseqüentemente, amar a Deus. A estrutura afetiva do ser humano torna-se, assim, em virtude de constituir-se basicamente como estrutura de acolhida, a maneira mais legítima de acolher a Deus. A afetividade humana garante, então, que toda a experiência de Deus seja uma experiência amorosa que revela ao ser humano sua verdade mais profunda: o ser humano é um ser em relação com seu Deus Criador e Salvador. A afetividade possibilita, assim, a apropriação da parte do ser humano da graça redentora que Deus lhe comunica numa relação sempre salutar. Jesus Cristo - o dom do Pai à humanidade - realiza em sua pessoa a salvação que Deus quer comunicar ao ser humano. A salvação consiste na participação do ser humano na vida divina mediante a ação do Espírito Santo que co- naturaliza o ser humano com Deus.

[en] During a long time, the theme of affection was outside of religious discourse. This religious discourse tended more to the shade of Greek tradition, giving preference to the discourse of reason in teology. However, the Christian tradition is formed by the intersections of two big cultural religious Traditions: the so called Greek Tradition, based on rational discourse; and the Semitic Tradition, based on antropology of heart, where knowledge is seen by wisdom and love. It signals that, behind the affectionate component, there is a real possibility of knowing oneself, experiencing and, consequentely, loving God. So, the affectionate structure of human being becomes the most legitimate way to welcome God since it was set up basically as a welcome structure. Thus, human affection guarantees that every experience of God is a loveling experience that reveals to human being his deeper truth: human being is a being regarding his Creator Saviour God. The affection enables in that manner the human being appropriation from part of the redeeming grace that God communicates to him in a salutary relation like always. Jesus Christ - the Father's gift to humanity - does in His person the salvation that God wishes to communicate to human being. The salvation consists in joining human being in divine life through the action of Holly Spirit that co-naturalizes human being with God.

[pt] Diálogo e anúncio, a partir do Vaticano II é uma dupla atividade que a Igreja tem desenvolvido, de modo inauferível, com a nova aproximação religiosa surgida desde então. Muito embora a Igreja tenha dialogado, ao longo de sua existência,com os diversos povos aos quais levou o anúncio da salvação cristã, a progressiva aproximação inter-religiosa, que surge desde o Concílio Vaticano II, traz elementos novos e geradores de uma considerável tensão: dá-se,indubitavelmente, um entrechoque, na participação concreta do diálogo, entre as propostas de cada tradição religiosa, para a solução daquelas questões que tanto inquietam o ser humano, no mais íntimo de seu ser. Qual a sua origem? Qual o seu fim último? Assim, o interesse deste trabalho se volta para o trato com este duplo aspecto presente hoje na missão da Igreja: a sua participação no diálogo inter-religioso, atendendo às exigências que lhe são peculiares, sem, entretanto, deixar de cumprir o seu dever de anunciar a todos os povos a salvação trazida por Jesus Cristo.

[en] Dialogue and announcement, from the Vatican II are a double activity that the Church has developed, in an inherent way, with the new appeared religious approach since then. Even though the Church has dialogued, throughout its existence, with different kind of people to which it took the announcement of the Christian salvation, the gradual Inter- religious approach, that appears since Vatican Council II, brings new and generating elements of a considerable tension: it is given, doubtless, a shock , in the concrete participation of the dialogue, among the proposals of each religious tradition, for the solution of those questions that disturb the human being, in the closest of its being. Which is the origin? Which is the last end? Thus, the interest of this work is about the treatment with this double present aspect in the mission of the Church today: its participation in the Inter-religious dialogue, taking into consideration the requirements that are peculiar, however, fulfilling its duty to announce to the people the salvation brought by Jesus Christ.

[pt] O oitavo capítulo da Carta aos Romanos é, aparentemente, o seu centro: um tratado sobre o espírito sob vários aspectos – humano, divino e outros. A unidade literária Rm 8,14-17 é considerada o núcleo deste capítulo. A perícope desenvolve as causas e os efeitos da adoção filial divina com uma terminologia igual e distinta alhures (e.g., Gl 4,4-7); o texto contém expressões vinculadas à tradição judaica (vv. 14-15) e também uma segunda feição mais ecumênica/helênica (vv. 16-17), configurando uma estrutura retórica dual e, concomitantemente, convergente, devido aos elementos da semântica de uma e de outra cultura: yiothesίas (v. 15) e herdeiro (v. 17). Isto, de certa maneira, elucida e confirma a formação cultural e intelectual do Apóstolo: judaica e helênica à luz do cristianismo. Na primeira dimensão do texto destaca-se a fórmula aramaico-grega, tida como litúrgica; na segunda, o texto atrai por sua quantidade e qualidade de co-construtos: symmartyrei, herdeiros, compaixão syndoxasthomen (neologismos paulinos ou de uso ímpar). A singularidade da combinação destoa do convencional sugerindo um Sitz im Leben e/ou contexto específico: estratos de paternidade idolátrica (Zeύs-patnr) e reminiscências de sincretismo salvífico das religiões de mistério em virtude dos compostos co-, comuns nas fórmulas destes ritos greco-romanos. O presente trabalho entende que o acumulo de dados e a análise componencial dos mesmos em Rm 8,14-17 proporcionou aos seus sintagmas uma compreensão semântica colidente à idolatria e ao sincretismo.

[en] The eighth chapter of Romans is apparently its center: a treaty about spirit on various aspects – human, divine and others. The literary unit Romans 8:14-17 is considered the core of this chapter. The pericope develops the causes and effects of the divine filial adoption [yiothesίas, children of God / god tékna] with an equal and distinct terminology elsewhere (eg, Gal 4:4-7); the text contains linked expressions to the Jewish tradition (vv. 14-15) and also a second more ecumenical/Hellenic feature (vv. 16-17), setting up a dual rhetorical structure and, concomitantly, convergent, due to the semantic elements of one and another culture:yiothesίas (v. 15) and hereditary (v. 17) . This, in a way, elucidates and confirms the cultural and intellectual formation of the Apostle: Jewish and Hellenistic in the light of Christianity. The first dimension of the text highlights the formula Aramaic-Greek ABBA patnr, regarded as liturgical; in the second, the text draws on its quantity and quality of co-constructs: symmartyrei, heirs, compassion, syndoxasthomen(Pauline neologisms or a singular use). The uniqueness of the combination deviates from its conventional, suggesting Sitz im Leben and/or a specific context: strata of an idolatrous paternity (Zeύs-patnr) and reminiscences of salvific syncretism of mystery religions because of co-compounds, common in these Greco-Roman rites formulas. [pt] O sofrimento e o mal levantam uma série de questões sempre recorrentes. Tratando-se de homens e mulheres no contexto da mentalidade moderna, surge a indagação: como harmonizar a afirmação de um Deus Todo-Poderoso com a realidade do sofrimento e do mal, salvaguardando a autonomia do ser humano e do mundo? Através de três teólogos contemporâneos, Andrés Torres Queiruga, Jürgen Moltmann e Jon Sobrino, buscamos responder a esse questionamento, enfatizando a contribuição de cada um dos autores estudados, percebendo as lacunas e debruçando-nos sobre as críticas para completar, enriquecer e aprofundar suas reflexões. Nosso estudo parte de uma questão pastoral, refletida de forma teológico- sistemática, em vista de uma práxis cristã coerente para erradicar, amenizar e/ou integrar o sofrimento e o mal.

[en] Suffering and evil always raise a series of recurring questions. In dealing with man and woman, in the context of modern mentality, there arises an inquiry: how can we harmonize the affirmation of an All-Mighty God with the reality of suffering and evil, safeguarding the autonomy of the human being and the world? In dialogue with three contemporary theologians, Andrés Torres Queiruga, Jürgen Moltmann and Jon Sobrino, we try to deal with this questioning, emphasizing their contributions, detecting lacunas, and discerning the critiques in order to complement, enrich and deepen their considerations. Our study departs from a pastoral question, analyzed in a systematic-theological way, in order to establish a coherent Christian praxis which seeks to erradicate, ease and/or integrate the suffering and evil.
