[pt] Esta dissertação tem por objetivo apontar, através de um estudo teológicopastoral, a dimensão escatológica de artigos extraídos dos aspectos considerados essenciais para a evangelização, os quais percorrem na Exortação Apostólica Evangelii Nuntiandi, do Papa Paulo VI, fruto do Sínodo dos Bispos de 1974. Afirmamos, nesta pesquisa, a relevância da dimensão escatológica, na Evangelização do Mundo Contemporâneo. Ressaltamos a pouca reflexão e aplicação da orientação escatológica na prática evangelizadora da Igreja, sobretudo nas camadas populares. E a apontamos como uma perspectiva de renovação esperançosa para a evangelização atual. A Evangelii Nuntiandi, ao trazer em seu conteúdo o desejo de dar respostas ao Mundo Moderno, tem-se preocupado em esclarecer essa perspectiva escatológica da evangelização, possibilitando um novo olhar para toda a Igreja, dessa valiosa dimensão, que se funda no núcleo central da fé no Deus da vida, que quis salvar a humanidade a partir da história, até sua plena realização na eternidade.

[fr] Cette dissertation a pour objectif d`indiquer, au moyen d`une étude théologique pastoral, la dimension escatologique d`articles extraits des aspects considérés essentiels à l`évangélisation, lesquels parcourent dans l`Exhortation Apostolique Evangelii Nuntiandi du Pape Paul VI, fruit du Synode des Évêques de 1974. Nous affirmons, dans cette recherche, la pertinence de la dimension eschatologique comme essentielle à l`évangélisation du Monde Contemporain. Nous avons souligné qu`il y a peu de réflexion et d`application de l`orientation eschatologique dans l`action évangélisatrice de l`Eglise, surtout dans les couches populaires. Et nous avons indiqué comme une perspective de renouvellement plein d espoir pour l`évangélisation actuelle. L’Evangelii Nuntiandi, en portant dans son contenu le désir de donner des réponses au Monde Moderne, a le souci de éclairer cette perspective eschatologique de l`évangélisation et de donner un nouveau regard à toute l`Église de cette dimension précieuse qui est fondée dans le noyau central de la foi au Dieu de la vie, qui voulait sauver l`humanité, qui commence dans l`histoire jusqu à sa réalisation pleine dans l`éternité.

[pt] A teologia do Espírito Santo em Víctor Codina, tecida na linha da complementação cristológica e eclesiológica pós-conciliar, relaciona o Espírito Santo e a Igreja em perspectiva histórico-crítica no processo salvífico que une Jesus à Igreja. O autor escuta e reflete teologicamente a partir da realidade existencial latino-americana e projeta consequências pastorais, frente ao silêncio da teologia moderna. O objeto dessa reflexão teológica é tratado como luz que permite contemplar objetivamente a realidade sociocultural, teológica, eclesial e cósmica. Elementos históricos e teológicos essenciais situam a pneumatologia codiniana no horizonte da matriz teológica libertadora, cuja fecundidade suscita nova experiência espiritual nascida da solidariedade compartilhada com os crucificados da história, que vivem nas sombras da morte em expansão. [en] The eschatology of love is the study of the eschatology of J. Moltmann from his understanding of God in the history of the suffering of the world and in the history of the suffering of God s solidarity for this world. Love is the Christian concept of God as Trinity that moves from His future towards His creation. It is all about the Love God who suffers (as God) in solidarity in the suffering of His creation. The Christian God is not apathetic, immobile, but love. This love bases the hope, which is a fundamental characteristic of the Christian faith. From the passage from the eschatology of an informative discourse to a performative discourse, this research points to the biographical data of J. Moltmann s theology and the implication of this data in the understanding of God since the Paschal Christ Event, which reflects the divine pathos on the cross of Christ, united to the situation of abandonment and death of man, the yes of God to this Crucified One by His resurrection and the rise up of His future by the work of the Holy Spirit. From this perspective, the Christian existence as informed by the hope is based on this revealing God s love. This research starts from the enquiry for God and hope in J. Moltmann, which goes on to deepen Moltmann s understanding of God and reflects the eschatological statement of this understanding of God as Trinity, whose invitative love liberates, transforms and integrates, characterizing the Christian faith and its praxis as an eschatological datum.

[pt] O presente trabalho procura desenvolver mais um diálogo entre teologia e literatura. Tomando como referenciais a escatologia cristã e Orfeu da Conceição de Vinícius de Moraes, a pesquisa discorrerá sobre temas como sofrimento, morte e luto, correspondentes entre si nestas suas fontes principais, visando encontrar contribuições para uma teologia mais relevante e acessível. Num primeiro momento, serão levantadas as informações a respeito do poeta e sua obra especificando informações relativas à peça teatral com vistas a demonstrar como nela é expresso, da parte do poeta, opiniões sobre os temas do sofrimento, da morte e do luto. Para isso serão examinadas: as questões relativas à violência presente nas brigas descritas pelo poeta; as duas mortes ocorridas na narrativa; e, os lutos vividos pelas personagens da peça. Num segundo momento, serão apresentados pareceres teóricos da teologia relativos aos temas do sofrimento, em suas causas e em sua presença incontestável na realidade humana; da morte, entendida como parte constitutiva da vida e como expressão limite da existência; e do luto, enquanto expressão de amor do enlutado por aqueles que se foram. Essas proposições têm por objetivo acrescer à pesquisa a chave de leitura da peça teatral, a fim de desenvolver sustentação teológica para o diálogo pretendido. [en] The present work seeks to develop another dialogue between theology and literature. Taking as reference the Christian eschatology and Orfeu da Conceição from Vinícius de Moraes, the research will speak about subjects such as suffering, death and mourning, related to each other in these main sources, with the intention to find contributions for a more relevant and accessible theology. At a first moment, information about the poet and his work will be taken into consideration, specifying information related to the piece theatrical with a view to demonstrate how it is expressed, and the poet s opinions about the subjects suffering, death and mourning. This will be examined: the issues related to violence present in the fights described by the poet; the two deaths occurred in the narrative; and, the mourning experienced by the characters in the play. At a second moment, theology theory related to the subjects suffering, in its causes and in its undeniable presence in human reality; death, understood as a constitutive part of life and as the limiting expression of existence; and mourning, as an expression of love of the mourner for those who are gone. O modelo se encontra explicitado na vida, ministério, morte e ressurreição de Jesus de Nazaré, histórico, pleno em humanidade e divindade, e no modo como se deu a sua kenosis. Este ato de despojamento do Mestre ocorre em vias de revelação, salvação e serviço abnegado a todo aquele que dele necessitar, e no limite de tal necessidade. Além disso, provoca a esperança de que aquilo que ele viveu poderá ser vivido por toda pessoa de fé, anunciando o Reino de Deus como presente e futuro. Aplica-se, aqui, ao esvaziamento o termo autodoação a fim de conceituar os aspectos de liberdade e gratuidade desta entrega. [en] Make your own the mind of Christ Jesus (Phil 2,5) is an invitation of somewhat a follow of The Risen Jesus. The model is clearly found in Jesus of Nazareth s life, ministry, death and resurrection, his history, full humanity and divinity, and in how his kenosis has occurred. This act of bereavement happens in the routes of revelation, salvation and selfless service to all who need him with no limit for such need. In addition, he brings the hope that what he lived could be experienced by every person of faith, proclaiming the Kingdom of God as present and future. The understanding of self-giving is applied in order to characterize aspects of freedom and giving without expecting nothing in return. As a result, the radical and discipleship follow occurs in the same way as that offered by Christ. The disciple acts in his own kenosis in order to reveal, save and serve others. However, this radicalism will become possible only by assuming a redefinition of reality, a hermeneutics of existence, which allows live the same life in a new path. This hermeneutics results from the Christian hope that while an eschatological power, it originates in the acts of the Son in the human history and it is directed towards him. Therefore, it is concluded that the act of hope, the selfgiving practice, appears as paradigm of Kingdom of God s citizenship, a living in a radical giving toward the other and within the limits of their own necessity.

[pt] O horizonte teológico, assim como a realidade humana, é um desafio a enfrentar na atualidade Para os cristãos, Jesus Cristo, suas palavras e ações se tornam a perspectiva por meio da qual se avalia a realidade. A dissertação tem como objeto o princípio cristológico na relação entre Criação e Salvação. Para tal, primeiramente, foi feita uma revisão dos textos bíblicos e da tradição sobre a criação do homem e sua relação com Deus, para evidenciar o direcionamento da criação para a salvação em Cristo. A Constituição Gaudium et Spes declarou que o fundamento do ser humano e do seu destino último só pode ser compreendido a partir do mistério de Cristo. A partir do princípio cristológico buscou-se apresentar o ministério de Jesus e a importância do tema do seguimento para evidenciar como o ser humano adquire sua identidade em Cristo. Por fim, através da discussão do significado teológico da ressurreição foi possível demonstrar que a esperança permanece radicada na vitória de Cristo, e, portanto, que já pode ser experimentada na perspectiva da produção de sentido para a vida humana, recuperando sua fonte mais genuína em Cristo. Concluiu-se que o ser humano é criado em Cristo, e traz em si a imagem de Deus que é Cristo, pois na encarnação o ser humano visualiza Aquele do qual foi criado imagem, Cristo, e o seu caminho no seguimento de Jesus participando do Reino de Deus. Por isso, Cristo é a identidade e a esperança do ser humano.

[en] The theological horizon, as well as the human reality, is a challenge today. For Christians, words and actions of Jesus Christ become the perspective through which one evaluates the reality. The Christological principle in the relationship between Creation and Salvation is the subject of this dissertation. To address this issue, first, a review of the biblical texts and the tradition on the creation of man and his relationship with God was made to show that the guidance of creation to salvation in Christ. In the Constituição Gaudium et Spes in order to find the essence of the human being and his destiny can only be understood through the mystery of Christ. The dissertation sought to present the Ministry of Jesus and the importance of the topic to highlight how the human being acquires his identity in Christ. Finally, by discussing the theological significance of the resurrection it was possible to demonstrate that hope remains rooted in Christ s victory and, therefore, may already be experienced in human life by recovering its most genuine source in Christ. Thus, it can be concluded that the human being is created in Christ and that he brings within the image of God, which is Christ, because in the human incarnation the human being sees Him from whom his image was created, Christ. The human being also sees his path in following Jesus participating in the Reign of God. Christ is the identity and human hope.

[pt] A missão do Espírito Santo possui aspectos que com o avanço da teologia ganharam maior atenção pelos teólogos e as diversas tradições cristãs. Jurgen Moltmann, entre um grande número de teólogos, desenvolve uma reflexão original e complexa sobre o Espírito Santo, começando em sua famosa Teologia da Esperança e tendo como ápice a produção do livro O Espírito da vida, obra dedicada exclusivamente à reflexão sobre o Espírito Santo. Ele produzirá uma Pneumatologia que será orientada pela sua concepção de Escatologia cristã e pelos textos do bíblicos do Apóstolo Paulo. Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo principal fazer uma abordagem sobre como Jurgen Moltmann apresenta a relação entre o Espírito Santo e a Esperança Cristã, tendo como ponto de partida os acenos teológicos que ele desenvolveu na Teologia da Esperança, seu primeiro livro. Nossa abordagem se dividirá em três diferentes etapas. Em um primeiro momento, iremos nos dedicar a apresentar os principais textos produzidos por teólogos ao refletirem sobre o Espirito Santo. Em seguida, este trabalho vai fazer uma apresentação dos principais aspectos da Pneumatologia moltmanianna através de suas principais obras. O último passo, então, é discorrer sobre como Jurgen Moltmann compreende a relação entre Espírito Santo e a Esperança Cristã. Após a pesquisa, concluímos que nosso autor produz uma Pneumatologia que deve ser lida a partir da Escatologia que ele fomenta em sua Teologia da Esperança. O Espírito Santo é compreendido como o poder vivificante de Deus que faz com que homens e mulheres possam experimentar as promessas do futuro, parcialmente, ainda no presente. [en] The mission of the Holy Spirit has aspects that with the advancement of theology have gained more attention by theologians and the diverse Christian traditions. Jurgen Moltmann, among a large number of theologians, develops an original and complex reflection on the Holy Spirit, beginning with his famous Theology of Hope and having as its apex the production of the book The Spirit of Life, a work that he dedicates exclusively To reflection on the Holy Spirit. He will produce a Pneumatology that will be guided by his conception of Christian eschatology and by the biblical texts of the Apostle Paul. This research has as main objective to make an approach on how Jurgen Moltmann presents / displays the relation between the Holy Spirit and the Christian Hope taking as starting point the theological nods that it builds in the Theology of the Hope. [pt] A práxis do Reino de Deus na vida de Jesus Cristo e de seus discípulos se constitui como categoria teológica para a constatação da antecipação escatológica do Reino de Deus na História. Partindo da Escatologia presente nas obras de Edward Schillebeeckx, este estudo demonstra como o Reino de Deus, esperado para o futuro pós-histórico, antecipa-se na história mediante as práticas de justiça e de misericórdia a favor da vida plena para todos. Inicia-se com a demonstração da práxis do Reino de Deus presente nas obras do Autor, a fim de pôr em relevo a Escatologia presente em suas obras. A seguir, faz-se uma demonstração da cristologia escatológica de Schillebeeckx destacando a tipologia adotada pelo Autor, para se chegar ao contexto teológico e eclesial latinoamericano, a fim de demonstrar nele como o Reino é antecipado historicamente pela práxis dos discípulos do Reino na América Latina. O método usado nesta pesquisa foi o da revisão bibliográfica das obras de Schillebeeckx, em diálogo com outros teólogos e teólogas que tematizam ou se interessam pela temática da práxis do Reino de Deus. Da práxis de Cristo à práxis de seus discípulos, em todos os tempos, o Reino de Deus se antecipa e se manifesta na prática do amor, da verdade e da justiça, que socorre os pobres e lhes anuncia a esperança da salvação, já experimentada na caminhada na Terra, mas que terá seu acabamento no futuro glorioso e eterno em Deus. Desta Tese, a Escatologia recebe a contribuição temática aqui aprofundada, ao mesmo tempo em que a mesma Tese abre o caminho para ulteriores desenvolvimentos, a fim de enriquecer mais ainda a produção literária na área da Teologia Sistemática.

[en] The praxis of the Kingdom of God in the life of Jesus Christ and his disciples constitutes a theological category for the confirmation of the eschatological anticipation of the Kingdom of God in History. Starting from the Eschatology present in the works of Edward Schillebeeckx, this study demonstrates how the Kingdom of God, awaited for the post-historical future, anticipates in history through the practices of justice and mercy in favor of a full life for all. It begins with the demonstration of the praxis of the Kingdom of God present in the works of the Author in order to highlight the eschatology present in his works. The following is a demonstration of the eschatological Christology of Schillebeeckx highlighting the typology adopted by the Author to reach the Latin American theological and ecclesial context in order to demonstrate in him how the Kingdom is historically anticipated by the praxis of the disciples of the Kingdom in Latin America. [pt] No livro dos doze, Ageu é o segundo em extensão perdendo apenas para Abdias. Neste pequeno livro, constituído de apenas dois capítulos, está uma mensagem que busca animar os construtores do templo pós-exílico. O oráculo em Ag 2,1-9 chama a atenção porque demonstra um interesse de YHWH pelo templo. O presente trabalho propõe-se a analisar Ag 2,1-9, com o objetivo de identificar pontos que demonstrem um enunciado escatológico profético e qual a dimensão escatológica do templo pós-exílico. Tal objetivo pôde ser alcançado, após a análise do texto, que tomou por base os aspectos da escatologia vétero-testamentária para identificá-lo como um oráculo escatológico salvífico.

[en] In the book of the twelve, Haggai is the second in a less extent, second only to Abdias. In this small book, consisting of only two chapters, is a message that seeks to encourage the builders of the post-exilic temple. The oracle in Hag 2.1-9 points out the reason why it has an interest in the temple of YHWH. This study proposes to examine Hag 2.1-9, with the aim of identifying points that demonstrate a prophetic eschatological statement and which the eschatological dimension of the post-exilic temple is. Such a goal could be reached after examining the text, which was based on the aspects of eschatology vetero-testamentary to identify him as an oracle eschatological salvation.

[pt] A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo principal estudar o modo como se relacionam, no profeta Malaquias, a crise do sacerdócio, descrita de modo particular em 2,1-9, e a perspectiva escatológica apresentada em 2,17 – 3,5. A pesquisa considera que, embora em 2,1-9 prevaleça o discurso de juízo sobre os sacerdotes faltosos, no v. 4 é delineada uma perspectiva salvífica. Tal perspectiva é desenvolvida em 2,17 – 3,5, onde o tema da purificação do sacerdócio e do restabelecimento do culto domina a maior parte do texto (cf. 3,2-4). Para o estudo das unidades textuais seguiu-se o Método Histórico Crítico nas suas etapas essenciais, conjugando-o, de modo particular no comentário aos textos, com a análise sincrônica, considerando-se cada uma das perícopes na sua forma final e canônica. Com relação a 2,17 – 3,5 procurou-se identificar os elementos que permitem caracterizar este texto como escatológico e delinear suas perspectivas principais. O estudo conjunto das perícopes demonstrou que, em Malaquias, o juízo previsto em 2,1-9 é revertido a partir da perspectiva escatológica apresentada em 2,17 – 3,5. Uma vez que os sacerdotes são os ministros do culto e este é a manifestação da dimensão propriamente religiosa da relação de Deus com seu povo, YHWH mesmo agirá, em primeiro lugar por meio de seu mensageiro, purificando os sacerdotes e restabelecendo o culto na sua integridade e, depois, atuando como testemunha contra os que não o temem.

[en] The aim of this research is to study how the prophet Malachi relates the priesthood crisis, described in particular in 2:1-9, with the eschatological perspective presented in 2:17 – 3:5. The research considers that while in 2:1-9 the judgmental discourse on the faulty priests prevails, in v. 4 is outlined a salvific perspective. This perspective is developed in 2:17 – 3:5, where the theme of priesthood purification and the reestablishment of worship dominates most of the text (cf. 3:2-4). For the study of the textual units, was followed the Critical Historical Method in its essential stages, combining it, particularly in the commentary on the texts, with the synchronic analysis, considering each of the pericopes in its final and canonical form. With respect to 2:17 – 3:5 it was tried to identify the elements that allow characterizing this text as eschatological and delineating its main perspectives. The joint study of the pericopes has shown that in Malachi the judgment predicted in 2:1-9 is reversed from the eschatological perspective presented in 2:17 – 3:5. Since the priests are the ministers of worship and this is the manifestation of the properly religious dimension of God s relationship with his people, YHWH himself will firstly act through his messenger, purifying the same priests and restoring the integrity of the worship, and so he will act as a witness against those who do not fear him.

[pt] A pergunta acerca das imagens de Deus questiona vários pressupostos da fé e da tradição. A compreensão de Revelação talvez seja a primeira e mais importante. Daí decorre um itinerário que esse trabalho quer abordar apontando algumas consequências para a fé e a vivência dessa fé. Não é mais possível alimentar um discurso fantasioso como justificação ou legitimação de um agir egoísta. Não se nos atermos à transformação necessária na imagem de Deus, que não castiga, interfere ou escolhe apenas alguns. A superação dos limites de um deus externo e interventor gera uma postura nova naquele que crê. Essa pesquisa segue esse caminho, de libertação dos conceitos acerca de Deus apontando como consequências o diálogo, com Deus e com o outro, a autonomia e liberdade do ser humano e a responsabilidade que disso advém em relação ao mundo e à realidade criada. [en] The question about the images of God challenges several pillars of faith and tradition. Perhaps the undestanding of Revelation is the first and most important one. Considering that, an itinerary arises, and this work intends to follow it, pointing few consequences for the faith and for the experience of this faith. There is no possibility anymore to strenghten a fantastic speech as justification or legitimization for a selfish acting. Not if we focus on the necessary transformation of the God s image, that doesn t punish, doesn t interfere, doesn t select only a few ones. Overcoming the limits of an external and intervenor god generates a new attitude from that one who has faith. This research, follows this path for to release the concepts about God, by pointing as consequences the dialogue with God and with each other, the human autonomy, freedom and the responsabily that comes from that, about the worl and all reality created by God. For that purpose, this dissertation compares and analyses different authors about the subjects matters, granting a large space to reflection of Andrés Torres Queiruga.

[pt] A tensão já e ainda não em Oscar Cullmann e suas implicações e possibilidades para a missão da Igreja caracteriza-se por um trabalho de pesquisa que se desenvolve em perspectiva de diálogo entre a Escatologia e a Missiologia. O objeto principal de análise é o paradoxo temporal clássico da teologia conhecido por já e ainda não do Reino de Deus. O trabalho parte da pergunta pela natureza temporal da esperança do povo de Deus. Ele começa na Escritura, passa pela trajetória da Igreja através dos séculos e chega até os tempos atuais. Percebe-se como a expectativa pelo cumprimento das promessas de Deus alternou-se ao longo da história. Às vezes, a orientação pendia para uma ênfase futurista e celestial. Outras vezes, ela se concentrava em questões contemporâneas e terrenas. A reflexão descobre então, em Oscar Cullmann, uma proposta significativa para resolver o problema da polarização da temporalidade escatológica. Cullmann, a partir de sua exegese do Novo Testamento, vê como o Reino de Deus e suas promessas reivindicam uma dupla aplicação temporal, um aspecto já inaugurado na pessoa e obra de Jesus Cristo, já presente entre nós, e outro ainda não consumado, o qual é esperado para o futuro, para a parusia. Nascia o insight já e ainda não. Em seguida, esta dissertação vai mostrar como a tese escatológica de Cullmann foi recebida e reverberada por outros teólogos de seu tempo. E por último, esta reflexão conduz ao subtítulo deste trabalho, o qual busca explorar como a tensão já e ainda não informa a mensagem e afeta a postura missional da Igreja.

[en] The tension already and not yet in Oscar Cullmann - possibilities and implications to the mission of the Church – is a research that proposes a dialogue between the Eschatology and the Missiology, in which the main goal is to analyze the classic paradox in theology known as the already and the not yet of the Kingdom of God. The essay starts by exploring the question about the temporal nature of the hope that God s people have nurtured. It begins in the Scripture, passes through different epochs in the record of the Church up to the state of the issue in our days, perceiving how the people s expectation for the fulfillment of God s promises has alternated throughout history. Sometimes it displayed a more futuristic and celestial emphasis. In another period, it pointed to a more present-day and worldly orientation. The research discovers then, in Oscar Cullmann, a significant proposal to solve the dilemma of any eventual polarization. Cullmann, from his exegetical work in the New Testament, see how God s Kingdom and its promises have a double timing application: an aspect already inaugurated by the person and work of Jesus Christ, already present among us, and another not yet consumed, which is still awaited in the future, in the breakthrough of the parousia. Afterwards, this dissertation will show how Cullmann s thesis was received and reverberated across the thought of various theologians. [pt] A história, a memória e a teologia, preservada nos versos das canções produzidas pelas Comunidades Eclesiais de Base, são de suma importância para a História Eclesiástica. Os cantos do Cancioneiro Popular das CEBs constituem uma realidade presente na Igreja do Brasil. Era preciso adentrar a história desses cantos, revisitar suas memórias e analisar sua teologia para compreender melhor o valor que a CNBB atribui a estas canções. Esta dissertação objetiva analisar a construção da história, memória e teologia das canções do Cancioneiro Popular das CEBs. Objetiva analisar de maneira histórico-teológico a arte produzida pelos adeptos da Teologia da Libertação. Essas Canções de Esperança são um patrimônio vivo, que trazem em si o legado das lutas, vitórias e derrotas dos que a todo custo tentaram denunciar as injustiças e anunciar que o reino já está entre nós. As canções cebianas trazem em si uma antecipação escatológica de uma realidade já existente, porém, ainda não completada. Nas canções das CEBs são facilmente encontradas traços da Teologia da Práxis e da Teologia da Esperança, por isso, a teologia apresentada nestas canções provocam uma inquietação no homem que por causa de Cristo não se contenta com a realidade dada, deseja contradizê-la. Percebe-se, assim, que a tensão faz parte da vida cristã – apesar da esperança – e que toda a vida do homem está embebida da índole escatológica que deve ser vivida à luz da Esperança maior que se faz realidade já aqui, mas ainda não é aqui. Logo, essas canções fomentam a luta para que a realidade do já seja uma antecipação do ainda não.

[en] The history, memory and theology, preserved in the verses of the songs produced by the Ecclesial Base Communities, are of paramount importance for Ecclesiastical History. The songs of the Popular Songbook of CEBs are a present reality in the Church of Brazil. It was necessary to enter the history of these songs, revisit their memories and analyze their theology to better understand the value that the CNBB attributes to these songs. This dissertation aims to analyze the construction of the history, memory and theology of the songs of the Popular Songbook of CEBs. It aims to analyze in a historical-theological way the art produced by the followers of Liberation Theology. These Songs of Hope are a living heritage that bring in themselves the legacy of the struggles, victories and defeats of those who at all costs tried to denounce injustice and announce that the kingdom is already among us. The Cebian songs bring in themselves an eschatological anticipation of an already existing reality, however, not yet completed. In the songs of CEBs, traces of the Theology of Praxis and Theology of Hope are easily found, so the theology presented in these songs provokes an uneasiness in the man who, because of Christ, is not content with the given reality, wants to contradict it. It is thus perceived that tension is part of the Christian life - in spite of hope - and that the whole life of man is embedded in the eschatological nature that must be…

[pt] O objeto central desta Tese Doutoral é a questão da atividade profética cristã no livro do Apocalipse, com a finalidade de propor, através da análise literária de Ap 10,1-11, uma possível descrição do profeta cristão e das características do seu lugar sócio-eclesial no Apocalipse de São João. Parece existir, até certo momento histórico, no interior da eclesialidade cristã primitiva uma figura individual ou grupal, denominada profh,thj, com sua silhueta, função e autoridade próprias, diversas do profeta clássico veterotestamentário, conhecido inclusive no N.T, através da figura de João Batista. Duas premissas estão inter-relacionadas: a hipótese de uma adequada abordagem sócio-literária, sem que isso signifique o mero uso dos resultados empíricos da sociologia da religião aplicados a textos bíblicos neotestamentários; e, ao mesmo tempo, a hipótese plausível do acesso à realidade contextual destes membros da comunidade denominados nos textos do Apocalipse como profetas. A nossa tese não só abordará a questão, na sua pertinência bíblico- exegética, mas incluirá também a discussão acerca da atualidade desta temática. Por que falarmos ou nos interessarmos por estes profetas, encerrados, como tantas outras formas, nos antigos textos cristãos? Que fenômenos contemporâneos, eclesiais ou não, estão exigindo uma reavaliação desta questão.

[en] The central object of this Doctoral thesis lies in the issue of the Christian prophetic activities in the book of Revelation. It aims to propose a probable description of the Christian prophet as well as the characteristics of his socialecclesiastic place as such, by means of the literary analysis of Rev 10, 1-11. There seems to be, up to a certain historical moment, within the primitive Christian ecclesiasticism an individual or group figure named profh,thj, who had a silhouette, a function and an authority of his own, diverse from the classic Old Testament prophet. This latter known in the New Testament for the figure of John the Baptist. Two premises stand inter-related: the hypothesis of a proper socio-literary approach, that does not mean a mere use of the empirical results of sociology of religion to the New Testament; and, alongside it, the reasonable hypothesis of the access to the contextual reality by the members of the community so called prophets in the texts of the Revelation. Our thesis not only approaches the biblical-exegetic relevance of the issue, but also includes its present discussion. Why do we talk or matter about these prophets that are summed up to the ancient Christian texts like so many other forms? Which contemporary phenomena, ecclesiastic or not, demand a re- evaluation of such issue?

[pt] Jesus foi um judeu piedoso de seu tempo, observante da Lei, preocupado em cumprir a vontade de Deus. Perceber a relação de Jesus com a Lei nos ajuda a entender a situação das comunidades seguidoras dele na Palestina, em constante confronto com outras propostas de fidelidade à Torá. Nessa dissertação propomos uma análise exegético-teológica de Mateus 5,17-20, para compreender essa relação de Jesus com a Lei, como ele a cumpriu, e que exigências fez a partir de sua própria prática. A afirmação de Jesus, de que veio para cumprir, já suscitou todo tipo de interpretação, e o fato de estar no centro do discurso conhecido como Sermão do Monte só aumenta o seu interesse. Com o auxílio do método históricocrítico, e ainda a criteriologia elaborada para a pesquisa do Jesus Histórico, é possível fazer uma aproximação do texto ao mesmo tempo científica e piedosa, legitimamente interessada nas afirmações daquele que é considerado o maior mestre de todos os tempos.

[en] Jesus was a piety Jew in his time, a Law observer, worried about fulfilling the God`s will. Realizing the relationship between Jesus and the Law help us how to understand the situation of his followers communities on Palestine, in constant confrontation with other proposals of faithfulness to the Torah. This dissertation proposes an exegetical- theological analysis on Matthew 5,17-20 to understand this relationship between Jesus and the Law, the way he fulfilled it, and which demands he made from his own practice. The Jesus saying, that he came to fulfill, have already caused every kind of interpretation an the fact of being in the speech`s center known as Sermon on the Mount just increases the interest for it. With the historical-critical method and still the criteria elaborated to the Historical Jesus research, it is possible to do an approach of the text at same time scientific and piety, legitimately interested on the statements of whom is considered the greatest leader of all times.
