▼ Cette thèse interroge l’apprentissage du calcul de durée entre deux instants au format Heure Minute (HM) dans le système français sur l’exemple de la Guadeloupe dont le système éducatif est largement organisé selon le modèle national. En particulier, en mathématiques, les prescrits en vigueur et les manuels employés sont les mêmes qu’en France hexagonale.Compte tenu de la complexité du concept de temps, nous avons cherché, dans une première partie, à en préciser certains aspects (philosophiques, anthropologiques, physiques, sociaux) afin de mieux comprendre sa place dans l’institution scolaire française. Nous abordons la question du calcul de durée sous l’angle de la transposition didactique (Chevallard, 1985), de la théorie anthropologique du didactique (Chevallard, 1985) et du site local d’une question (Silvy & Delcroix, 2009). Les pratiques des professeurs, concernant cet enseignement, sont analysées au travers du concept de PCK (Shulman, 1987) et de ses approfondissements (Magnusson, Krajcik & Borko, 1999 ; Mangane et Kermen, 2016). Ce cadre théorique est complété d’une étude de l’évolution des programmes scolaires français de 1882 à 2016 qui montre que l’apprentissage de la soustraction en colonne de nombres complexes HM a bénéficié d’un traitement analogue à celui de la soustraction de nombres décimaux jusqu’à la réforme des mathématiques modernes des années 1970. Puis, cet apprentissage cesse d’être exigé par les programmes au profit du calcul raisonné à l’aide d’utilisation de ligne numérique (virtuelle ou dessinée). Depuis 2016, l’apprentissage de la soustraction de nombres HM est de nouveau un attendu des programmes.Dans une première enquête, nous nous sommes interrogés sur les effets des bouleversements institués par les différents programmes sur les manuels scolaires. Nous avons pu constater que les manuels scolaires français anciens présentaient différentes techniques de calcul de la soustraction de nombres HM (par complément, par emprunt ou par compensation), mais que depuis 1970, une seule technique subsiste. Cette enquête est parachevée par une étude de propositions d’enseignement d’Angleterre, dans la mesure où – dans ce pays – les systèmes d’unités à base autre que décimale sont très présents et que cela pouvait influer sur les conceptions à l’égard de l’enseignement des nombres complexes HM. Nous avons ainsi mis en évidence dans ce pays des techniques s’appuyant principalement sur les entiers relatifs.Un deuxième volet d’enquête questionne les pratiques de formation des conseillers pédagogiques du premier degré en mathématiques de Guadeloupe et d’enseignement de six professeurs du premier et du second degré relativement au calcul de durée. Dans la limite de notre enquête, de nature qualitative, il semble que les enseignants ne maitrisent que la technique présentée dans les manuels et qu’ils ne disposent plus des technologies liées à cet apprentissage.En conclusion, il nous semble avoir montré que les propositions d’enseignement et les connaissances des professeurs semblent actuellement… Advisors/Committee Members: Delcroix, Antoine (thesis director), Silvy, Christian (thesis director).

[pt] O Sistema elétrico brasileiro é baseado quase que integralmente em energia produzida por Usinas Hidroelétricas. Estas Máquinas Hidroelétricas possuem um comportamento diferenciado das máquinas turbo geradoras, cujo comportamento já foi identificado e classificado em pesquisas anteriores. Este trabalho investiga o uso de um Sistema baseado em Conhecimento para o diagnóstico precoce de falhas em Máquinas Hidrogeradoras, visando redução de custos advindos principalmente de paradas operacionais não necessárias na máquina para manutenção. O sistema foi criado com informação obtida a partir dos seguintes meios: sistemática de manutenção executada nas Usinas Hidroelétricas, através de entrevistas à equipe responsável pela manutenção da usina de Furnas (MG); da identificação do comportamento eletromecânico da máquina; e do estudo de casos. O Sistema é capaz de identificar, a partir dos sensores localizados nas máquinas, eventuais falhas, permitindo executar paradas programadas de maneira otimizada. Foi criado um protótipo de um sistema computacional baseado em Conhecimento implementando tal modelo de forma bem flexível. A modelagem criada, a implementação do protótipo computacional e, principalmente, a explicação do raciocínio empregado, agregado com a possibilidade da modificação do conhecimento através da aquisição automática, são contribuições inovadoras deste trabalho. É descrito o Domínio do Problema de diagnosticar falhas em Máquinas Hidrogeradoras, identificado durante análise das informações coletadas da equipe de manutenção na usina de Furnas e de especialistas no comportamento eletromecânico das máquinas. É descrito também o modelo simbólico criado, representativo do domínio, utilizando interface projetada, visando a implementação prática nas usinas. É apresentado uma solução de desacoplamento das informações advindas dos sensores eletromecânicos da máquina e o sistema, através de módulo baseado em Lógica Nebulosa (Fuzzy Logic) que converte as informações numéricas em informações simbólicas compreendidas pelo sistema de diagnóstico, permitindo o uso do sistema, sem alteração em máquinas que possuam características diversas. Finalmente, é apresentada a metodologia de testes adotada para validação do modelo implementado através da simulação de dados de vibração e oscilação, cujo relacionamento com eventuais falhas é parcialmente conhecido, assim como uma conclusão sobre a viabilidade e praticidade de um modelo simbólico na solução do diagnóstico das máquinas hidrogeradoras. Durante o desenvolvimento da tese verificou-se que o conhecimento sobre falhas em Máquinas Hidrogeradoras ainda não está consolidado e que então, um Sistema baseado em Conhecimento com aquisição de conhecimento automático mostra-se uma excelente ferramenta de modelagem para os especialistas.

[pt] Nos últimos anos, as bandas de frequências nas comunicações sem fio estão começando a saturar devido ao incremento do tráfego e o aumento dos usuários, é devido a isso que, é necessário estudar as bandas de frequências que não estão sendo utilizadas nas áreas das comunicações como a banda milimétrica e sub-milimétrica. A transmissão de dados na banda EHF o banda milimétrica constitui uma possível solução para conseguir transmitir maiores quantidades de informação a altas velocidades de transmissão aliviando as bandas de frequências atuais. Neste trabalho se estuda a transmissão de dados em frequências de 100, 200, 300 e 400 GHz, empregando a modulação Quadrature Phase-Shift Keying (QPSK) mediante uma arquitetura baseada no batimento de dois lasers, cujas frequências são combinadas em um Beam Splitter, para que a corrente resultante da soma dos campos elétricos dos dois lasers seja convertida em um sinal de alta frequência por meio de uma antena fotocondutora. O batimento dos dois lasers, com diferentes comprimentos de onda e com a mesma potência, ao interagir com uma antena fotocondutora dá como resultado uma frequência na ordem de Gigahertz. No experimento utilizaram-se dois tipos de diodos receptores, um de banda larga (menor que 4 GHz) e outro de banda estreita (menor que 1 MHz). As duas antenas foram testadas em diferentes distâncias e com diferentes frequências de portadora para verificar qual delas tinha o melhor desempenho na banda EHF para poder realizar a transmissão de dados.

[en] In recent years, the frequency bands in wireless communications are beginning to saturate due to the increase of traffic and the increase of users, and it for that reason that is necessary to study the frequency bands that are not begin used in the communication areas like millimeter and sub-millimeters bands. Data transmission in the EHF band is a possible solution to be able to transmit large amounts of information at high transmission speeds, alleviating current frequency bands. In this work, the transmission of data in frequencies of 100, 200, 300 and 400 Gigahertz is studied, using Quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) modulation with an architecture based on the beat of two lasers, whos frequencies are combined by means of Beam Splitter, so that result of the electric fields of two lasers is converted into a high frequency signal with the aid of a photoconductor antenna. The.beating of the two lasers, with different wavelengths and with the same power, when interacting with a photoconductor antenna results in a frequency in the order of Gigahertz. In the experiment, two types of receiver diodes were used, one Broadband (less than 4 GHz) and the other of narrowband (less than 1 MHz). The two antennas were tested at different distances and with different carrier frequencies to verify which one had the best performance in the EHF band in order to perform the data transmission.

▼ The hotel industry is presented today as one of the most important sub-sectors of the Spanish tourism industry and economic sector. Its impact on both the economy as well as the environment is significant and also strategic for the country's development and its area of influence. In recent years, the industry has based its strategy on an excessive development of market supply. There have been a number of changes and down turns in demand during this period, caused by the ITC revolution, the emergence of new segments and an increasing demand for value for money, to which the hotel industry has failed to adapt. To date, and although quality has been an element valued by the industry, not much progress has been achieved with regard to the implementation of that philosophy. The Spanish public sector has decided on its implementation through developing quality standards; the private sector, in parallel, has developed seals of quality and tourism brands to enhance the quality of establishments. In spite of all these measures, implementation is not as high as it has been in other sectors, which has led experts to consider whether the plans developed are in fact suited to the sector. To respond to the above-described problem - and following a review of the literature related to quality, service quality and service quality applied to the hotel industry - this paper puts forward the identification and prioritisation of those management aspects which lead a hotel chain to improve its service quality. In developing the paper, we have considered the views of a group of expert hotel managers and the results of a survey carried out among hotel chains in Spain. The analytical methodology used is twofold: on the one hand the concept mapping technique has been applied to the views of a group of expert hotel managers, which, after applying a multidimensional scaling and cluster analysis, led to the identification of 84 management aspects grouped into seven clusters reflecting seven management areas to be considered by hotel chains. These are: Human Resource Management, Strategic Marketing Management, Client Information Management, Internal Hotel Chain Management, Internal Quality Management, Strategic Hotel Chain Management and Strategic Quality Management. On the other hand, a qualitative reasoning procedure based on the orders of magnitude has been used with the aim of identifying the priority areas of the findings for the previous phase. The results of a survey on hotel chains in Spain have been used to carry out the procedure. These results reveal an import shift towards strategic thinking among hotel chains but without there being one cluster that is more significant than the rest.
