Na sociedade atual, o dom�nio da Escrita considera-se um fator crucial, pois a capacidade de produzir textos escritos �, atualmente, uma exig�ncia generalizada. Desta forma, o objetivo do presente relat�rio de est�gio � refletir sobre a aplicabilidade da pr�tica da escrita, nomeadamente da Escrita Criativa, no ensino-aprendizagem da l�ngua materna (Portugu�s) e da l�ngua estrangeira (Espanhol). Primeiramente, apresento um corpo de conceitos relativos � Escrita e �s pr�ticas a esta associadas, bem como um modelo pedag�gico que oferece uma informa��o detalhada acerca do papel do escrevente, das mem�rias, dos contextos e dos passos indicados para formar escreventes capazes. Exponho, ainda, algumas considera��es sobre a escrita criativa e o papel do professor na gest�o desta metodologia de ensino-aprendizagem. Em segundo lugar, fa�o uma an�lise dos Programas de Portugu�s e de Espanhol, pretendendo verificar como � que a escrita criativa � perspetivada nos mesmos. Seguidamente, as planifica��es apresentadas, a escola e as turmas, refletem as aulas lecionadas, estabelecendo-se uma ponte entre estas e as pr�ticas da escrita que lhe est�o associadas. Assim, apresento os resultados obtidos nos question�rios, realizados pelos alunos da escola, com o intuito de divulgar as experiencias de Escrita Criativa e a sua rela��o com a Leitura. Atrav�s deste relat�rio desejo divulgar a rentabilidade das atividades de Escrita Criativa na l�ngua estrangeira e na l�ngua materna, pois n�o s� estimula a autonomia dos alunos como tamb�m derruba algumas barreiras evidentes no dom�nio da Express�o Escrita.

En la sociedad actual, el dominio de la Escrita se considera un factor crucial, ya que la capacidad de producir textos escritos es, actualmente, una exigencia generalizada. As�, el objetivo de este informe de pr�cticas es reflexionar sobre la aplicabilidad de la pr�ctica de la Escrita, especialmente de la Escritura Creativa, en la ense�anza de la lengua materna (Portugu�s) y de la lengua extranjera (Espa�ol). En primer lugar, presento un conjunto de conceptos relacionados con la escritura y las pr�cticas que les est�n asociadas, as� como un modelo pedag�gico que ofrece informaci�n detallada sobre el papel de escribiente, las memorias, los contextos y los pasos a seguir para formar escribientes capaces. Tambi�n expongo algunas consideraciones sobre la Escritura Creativa y el papel del profesor en la gesti�n de la metodolog�a de ense�anza-aprendizaje. En segundo lugar, hago un an�lisis de los Programas de Portugu�s y de Espa�ol, con la intenci�n de comprobar c�mo la Escritura Creativa es perspectiva en ambos. A continuaci�n, los planes de las clases presentados, la escuela y los grupos de alumnos reflejan las clases impartidas, estableci�ndose un puente entre estas y las pr�cticas de escritura que les son asociadas. ▼ In 1990, Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton developed in United States of America, a new system as support for decision 1, denominated Balanced Scorecard. Even supposing it is not an innovation once it is based on knowledge and principles enclosed in theories previously developed, the Balanced Scorecard has organized some of these theoretical principles, having as objective a "Control Panel" construction to manager the Companies strategy by monitoring financial results, through performance operational indicators that influence these results, growing the analysis capability and organizational knowledge. The published books and articles about Balanced Scorecard2, simplify the methodology description for its implementation and relate some of success cases occurred in companies from United States of America. The Balanced Scorecard is coming to an experimental phase in order to verify its principles and concepts adherence. Many companies operating in Brazil are implanting and implementing it, without divulgating the facilities and difficulties to align the management practices to the strategy and budget, premise that constitute the differentiation for the system to support decision. With these circumstances, the objective for this work is to contribute with the scientific research, presenting the practical experience of one company in activity in the country, by the theoretical principles of Balanced Scorecard applied, divulgating the results obtained and if the company had to recover to improvisation and adaptation to fit the situation not contemplated in Kaplan and Norton methodology developed. The research was made by bibliographical study and empirical research, in order to transmit the concepts that fundaments the Balanced Scorecard utilization, such as not mystify the facility proclaimed from its authors, from a field research done in Alcoa. The research was done based in two questionnaires, and one was constituted of 70 "opened" questions, applied in the Quality Manager, responsible to implanting and implementing the Balanced Scorecard in the company. The second questionnaire was constituted by 21 questions, tabulated in a scale like Likert, with eight levels, and it was applied in managers and users departments of Balanced Scorecard. Even though the Balance Scorecard theory establish facilities for its omplntation and implementation, the work hypothesis was confirmed, the implementation to the referred system needs adjustments and adaptations. These adjustment and adaptations are related to the people initiaves who are in the different hierarchical level to decide and the operate the actions to strategy and acquire knowledge to innovate the way of making the tasks. Other important factor is the difficult to measure objectively the strategy, throughout indicators inter-relation that mean the relation for cause and effect for these actions and iniciatives. Por?m a relev?ncia da APA UFAM, INPA, ULBRA, LAGOA DO JAPIIM, ELISA MIRANDA E ACARIQUARA, MANAUS n?o se restringe ao aspecto ecol?gico e aos servi?os ambientais prestados ? zona urbana de Manaus, pois abriga um S?tio Arqueol?gico em que, segundo o IPHAN (2008), os vest?gios humanos a? encontrados remontam a monumentos culturais das sociedades amer?ndias, sendo importantes modelos de vidas passadas, especialmente de assentamentos pr?-colombianos, que contribuem para o entendimento sobre os processos de ocupa??o da regi?o, h? milhares de anos. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa deu-se por meio de busca bibliogr?fica acerca da forma??o e da consolida??o da ?rea de influ?ncia da APA; entrevistas semiestruturadas com dois grupos distintos, denominados de grupos I e II, sendo respectivamente o I, composto por moradores do Conjunto At?lio Andreazza e profissionais que atuam na ?rea de influ?ncia direta do S?tio Arqueol?gico (entorno do Conjunto, como a ULBRA e a UFAM); e o II, composto exclusivamente por estudantes de gradua??o da ULBRA. O universo total foi de 26 entrevistados no per?metro, mas tamb?m houve a colabora??o do ?rg?o gestor da Unidade de Conserva??o. A an?lise quantitativa dos dados obtidos foi dimensionada no programa de planilhas e gr?ficos Microsoft Excel 2010; e a an?lise qualitativa das entrevistas foi feita por meio da an?lise do conte?do em rela??o ao contexto socioambiental. Para a an?lise espacial, foram utilizadas t?cnicas de geoprocessamento. ▼ The stock market in Brazil had a great evolution in the participation of small investors from the currency stabilization and the ease of access to information of public companies using home brokers and the internet . The ease of access and interest by retail investors brought a need for better preparation and understanding of the mechanisms involved in these investments . The preparation of this public suggests the need for a greater amount of technical information in order to assist them in making decisions . These new investors without a proper preparation and a high level of good technical information possibly present weakness in facing financial crises like the 2008 . Moreover , the Bovespa index is comprised largely of commodity companies , there is seen a strong influence of performance concentrated in a few very large companies that are Petrobras , Vale and some banks . For the best view of the market , BM & FBovespa own set of comparative indicators such as: Bovespa Index , the IBrX50 the large Mid Cap , Small Cap , sector indices among others . In general , the indexes are formed having as a criterion only its liquidity and turnover , balance sheet does not include criteria or shareholder return . This methodology led Dow to rethink their criteria for inclusion of companies in such indices . She has revised its classification criteria , including for example, the value of the shares that will be in effect in 2014 , yet no performance criterion in firms' balance sheets was considered . This work , in turn , evaluates asset portfolios formed by companies participating Indexes IBrX50 , large Mid Cap and Small Cap and have higher ROE - Return on Equity . Thus , it can be seen what would be the performance of these portfolios , whereas a given investor had applied its resources to such criteria between September 2008 and September 2013 , ie , exactly five years after the onset of the global financial crisis . The results suggest that the portfolio of companies participating in the Small Cap Index , and higher ROE showed better performance measured by the Treynor Index in relation to a portfolio that had a return in accordance with the Bovespa index . Em Portugal, continua observ�vel pouca reflex�o sobre a import�ncia da �rea de Gest�o Documental. A falta de sensibilidade, agregada � falta de especializa��o, faz com que n�o haja condi��es para a exist�ncia de aliados para um normal e devido funcionamento. Desde sempre, a Gest�o Documental teve um papel important�ssimo, mas cada vez mais se torna imperativo refletir, motivar e qualificar colaboradores, aperfei�oar sistemas de qualidade, rendibilizar os recursos humanos e materiais. Com efeito, para haver um Plano da Moderniza��o Administrativa, nomeadamente na simplifica��o e na normaliza��o de procedimentos de trabalho, o arquivista ou o trabalhador que tenha a responsabilidade de tal tarefa deve ter presente que esta vasta �rea, transversal nos sistemas de arquivo das Organiza��es, � tarefa �rdua e complexa, mas compensat�ria para quem a realiza. Atualmente, e depois deste trabalho de pesquisa, verificou-se alguma discrep�ncia entre diferentes organismos p�blicos no que diz respeito aos diversos tipos de arquivo. Uns arquivos s�o descentralizados, ou seja cada unidade org�nica tem o seu arquivo. Outros Organismos t�m arquivo centralizado, ou seja os documentos s�o recebidos s� por um �nico �rg�o. Existem tamb�m os Arquivos dirigidos, que s�o a fus�o dos dois sistemas.

En Portugal, todavia no se reflexiona mucho sobre la import�ncia que debe darse ao �rea de Gesti�n Documental. La falta de sensibilidade unido a la falta de especializaci�n en este campo, dan como resultado que no existan condiciones para crear recursos y tener um normal funcionamento. Desde sempre, la Gesti�n Documental tuvo un papel important�ssimo, y cada vez m�s se hace necess�rio pensar en motivar y cualificar colaboradores, perfeccionar sistemas de calidad, rentabilizar los recursos humanos y materiales. De hecho, para hacer un Plan de Modernizaci�n Administrativa, como es la simplificaci�n y normalizaci�n del procedimento en el trabajo, el archivero o trabajador que tenga la responsabilidade de esta tarea, debe tener presente que, en esta gran �rea, el reorganizar los sistemas de archivo de las Organizaciones es tarea �rdua y compleja, pero tambi�n muy satisfactoria para quien la realiza. Actualmente y despu�s de este trabajo de investigaci�n, se han verificado algunas discrep�ncias entre los diferentes Organismos P�blicos, en lo que se refiere a los diversos tipos de archivo. Unos archivos son descentralizados, o sea, cada Unidad Org�nica tiene su pr�prio Archivo. Otros Organismos tienen archivos centralizados, es decir, los documentos s�lo san recebidos en un �nico �rgano. Y existem, tambi�n los Archivos dirigidos, que son los que fusionan los dos sistemas.

Les travaux présentés dans cette thèse ont pour objectif de contribuer au développement des cellules photovoltaïques hybrides employant un colorant organique pour sensibiliser un semi-conducteur de type p (NiO). Ces travaux de recherche ont porté sur la synthèse, l’étude théorique par des calculs DFT, les caractérisations physico-chimiques (absorption, émission, électrochimie et spectro-électrochimie) et les mesures photovoltaïques de sensibilisateurs innovants. Des modulations de structures sur la base du motif dicétopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) ont permis d’étudier l’influence d’une entité électrodonneuse ainsi que le rôle crucial de différents groupes électroaccepteurs sur la durée de vie de l’état à charges séparées (NiO+/colorant-) et sur les performances photovoltaïques. L’intensification et l’élargissement des bandes d’absorption de nouveaux colorants fondés sur cette même famille de sensibilisateur (DPP) ont accru considérablement la densité de courant. L’étude de nouveaux matériaux organiques de type donneur-accepteur et l’application d’une stratégie employant deux groupes accepteurs successifs de forces croissantes ont été réalisées. Cette partie a mis en lumière la nécessité de développer de nouveaux groupes électrodonneurs et fonctions d’ancrage mieux adaptées aux p-DSSC. Cette problématique a été abordée par la conception de colorants de type pérylène-monoimide dont la structure varie uniquement par la nature de la fonction d’ancrage. Ces colorants ont été testés dans des cellules sur des cathodes poreuses de NiO et de CuGaO2 et ont pu montrer que la fonction hydroxyquinoline conduit à des performances photovoltaïques supérieures à la fonction acide carboxylique.

This thesis aims at contributing to the development of dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC) that are based on an organic dye and a p-type semi-conductor as photocathode such as NiO. In this context, these studies focus on the synthesis, the theoretical study by DFT calculations, the physicochemical characterizations (absorption and emission spectra, electrochemistry and spectroelectrochemistry) and photovoltaic characterizations of these innovative sensitizers. Structure modulations on a diketopyrrolopyrrole dye (DPP) investigate the influence of an electron-donating group and the crucial role of different electron-withdrawing groups on the lifetime of the charge separation state (NiO+/dye-) and on the photovoltaic performances. Enhancement and broadening of the absorption bands with new sensitizers have enabled to considerably increase the photocurrent density and to reach among the highest values reported in the literature with the best dyes. Synthesis of new organic push-pull dyes and the application of a strategy using two successive electron-withdrawing groups of growing strengths have been realized. This part highlights the necessity to develop new electron-donating and anchoring groups for p-type dye sensitized solar cells. ▼ In this era of fast advances in nanotechnology and electronics Ni has become an interesting element because its oxidized form possessing semiconducting properties is enabling several applications such as gas sensors, dyed sensitized photocathodes and electrodes in alkaline batteries. In addition, recently NiO has been utilized as a resistive switching (RS) memory [1], [2], [3], and energy-saving application as an electrochromic (EC) [4], [5], [6] smart window. In particular, NiO has promise for RS memory to replace Flash memory beyond the 14 nm process node. RS memory guarantees rapid speeds in reading and writing, high storage density and non-volatility with lifetimes of ten years or more. [7]The EC property of the NiO is also a driving force behind futuristic technologies such as smart windows and non-volatile displays. However, the exact mechanisms behind certain phenomena such as RS and EC are still not fully understood. In addition, in recent years there has been lots of research in Diluted Magnetic Semiconductor (DMS) materials because of their important utilization in spintronic devices. DMS materials have charge and spin degrees of freedom enabling the realization of devices with magnetic, electronic and optical functionalities. DMS electronic devices can have a higher speed and a lower switching energy than traditional electronic devices. NiO is an antiferromagnetic p-type semiconductor because of the presence of vacancy at Ni2+ sites [8], [9]. [10]The magnetic structure of NiO consists of ferromagnetic sheets of Ni2+ parallel to the (111) plane with opposite spin directions in neighboring planes. The Fe doping of NiO leads to Fe-doped NiO (Permalloy Oxide) which exhibits advantageous DMS properties over NiO. However, the effect of transition metal (TM) ion doping on the magnetic properties of NiO at higher iron concentration has not been fully determined yet. The effect iron doping has on the Neel temperature of NiO is also still unknown. The study of switching properties of NiO or Fe-doped NiO in resistive randomaccess memory (RRAM) devices can be easily possible by using optical or magnetic techniques that is why their physical properties such as optical or magnetic properties are also of interest in this thesis. In this thesis research, the physical properties of NiO, and Fe-Doped NiO were determined via theoretical and experimental methods. a) Theoretical Methods: For the theoretical part of the research, computer simulations were performed, and the physical properties were determined with the Density Functional Theory (DFT) using Vienna ab initio Simulation Package (VASP). Electronic, optical and magnetic properties of 4-atom NiO, 32-atom NiO, and 32-atom Fe-doped NiO supercells with spin polarization in the (111) planes were calculated using (GGA) and GGA+U methods. The theoretical outcome was compared with the experimental one or other findings from the literature. We began with simulations of 4-atom NiO, and 32-atom NiO. Dans la perspective du développement de vitrages électrochromes « en milieu protonique », des films minces électrochromes à coloration anodique, à base d’oxyde de nickel, ont été synthétisés et caractérisés. Afin d’améliorer la durabilité des films minces à base de NiO, trois approches ont été envisagées. (i)Des films d’oxyde de nickel et d’oxyde mixte nickel/lithium, déposés par PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition). Nous avons étudié l’influence du lithium sur les propriétés physico-chimiques (‘amorphisation..), et les caractéristiques électrochromes (électrochimique-optique) en milieu aqueux KOH 1M. (ii) Des films composites, préparés par voie chimique (solution), constitués d’une phase amorphe (en diffraction des Rayons X), de composition Ti1-xZnxO2-x?x, englobant des cristallites de NiO de ~ 5 nm de diamètre. Les courbes voltampérométriques révèlent que seule la phase NiO est électrochimiquement active, mais la phase amorphe, grâce aux lacunes anioniques neutres, ?x, renforce la tenue mécanique des films déposés sur les substrats FTO/verre. Il s’ensuit que ces films composites sont plus stables au cyclage, en milieu aqueux KOH 1M, que leurs homologues TiO2/NiO. (iii) Des films minces d’oxyde de nickel dopés par du carbone, préparés par une voie sol-gel originale, présentant une remarquable tenue en cyclage (> 25000 cycles en milieu aqueux KOH 1M), jamais observée jusqu’ici pour NiO.

Aiming at enhancing the electrochromic properties of NiO thin films, deposited on FTO substrates, we have employed three different approaches. They deal with: 1) lithium doping of NiO, the corresponding thin film-deposition method is PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition); 2) NiO nanoparticles embedded into zinc doped amorphous titanium oxide matrix, a solution method is used to deposit the corresponding thin films ; 3) Carbon-doped NiO thin films deposited using, a specific sol-gel method. Owing to lithium doping of NiO, we could induce film amorphization, thereby enhancing the film electrochemical-capacity. Most importantly, the adhesion between the film and the FTO substrate was improved leading to enhanced electrochemical cyclability in aqueous KOH electrolyte. We could enhance the electrochromic performances of TiO2/NiO composite thin films by doping TiO2 with Zn2+, forming to a new composite thin film Ti1-xZnxO2-x?x-NiO. Finally we have successfully stabilized the electrochromic properties (durability and optical property) of NiO thin films in aqueous KOH electrolyte, owing to the development of a specific sol-gel method leading to carbon-doped NiO nanoparticles. For the first time 25000 cycles were successfully achieved without significant decrease of the electrochromic performances.

O uso da tecnologia da Informa??o e Comunica??o (TIC) como vetor estrat?gico nas organiza??es e as constantes mudan?as no ambiente interno e externo, aumentaram a necessidade de um planejamento dedicado para essa ?rea. A TIC passa para um status de parceira estrat?gica de todos os setores e contribui diretamente para o melhor desempenho organizacional, aumentando tamb?m a demanda por investimentos e recursos. Ter um planejamento estrat?gico para ?rea de TIC, alinhado ao planejamento estrat?gico institucional (PEI) que seja flex?vel e ?gil, ? essencial para atender ? volatilidade dos cen?rios, interno e externo, de uma organiza??o. Esta pesquisa teve como foco principal propor um modelo de planejamento estrat?gico de tecnologia da informa??o e comunica??o (PETIC) utilizando conceitos do framework Scrum, a partir de um estudo de caso que utilizou a observa??o no Centro de Tecnologia da Informa??o e Comunica??o (CTIC) da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM) e a pesquisa documental nos artefatos gerados durante seu processo de elabora??o e execu??o do planejamento estrat?gico de TIC para o per?odo de 2016-2017. A partir do estudo de caso, foi poss?vel descrever o processo realizado na UFAM e produzir um processo de PETIC com base nos conceitos do Scrum.

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a strategic vector in organizations and the constant changes in the internal and external environment have increased the need for dedicated planning in this area. ICT becomes a strategic partner of all sectors and contributes directly to the best organizational performance, also increasing the demand for investments and resources. Having a strategic planning for the ICT area, aligned with flexible and agile strategic strategic planning (ISP), is essential to address the volatility of an organization's internal and external scenarios. The main objective of this research was to propose a strategic planning model for information and communication technology (PETIC) using concepts from the Scrum framework, based on a case study that used the observation in the Information and Communication Technology Center (CTIC) of Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) and documentary research on the artifacts generated during the process of elaboration and execution of strategic ICT planning for the period 20162017. From the case study, it was possible to describe the process performed in UFAM and to produce a PETIC process based on Scrum concepts.

En raison de leur faible consommation d'énergie, les mémoires non volatiles (MNV) sont En raison de leur faible consommation d'énergie, les mémoires non-volatiles sont particulièrement intéressantes pour l'électronique portative (clé USB, téléphone, ordinateur portable …). Les mémoires Flash, qui dominent le marché, atteignent leurs limites physiques et doivent être remplacées. L'introduction de nouveaux matériaux et architectures mémoire est proposée. Les mémoires OxRRAM (Oxide Resistive Random Access Memory) sont des candidats potentiels. Il s'agit de structures M-O-M (Métal-Oxyde-Métal). Le stockage de l'information est basé sur la modulation de la résistance de l'oxyde à l'application d'un champ électrique ou d'un courant. Une meilleure compréhension du mécanisme de changement de résistance de ces dispositifs est nécessaire pour contrôler leurs performances. Nous nous intéressons au claquage diélectrique de l'oxyde, qui initie le mécanisme de changement de résistance. Les mesures physico-chimiques à l'échelle nanométrique sont indispensables à sa compréhension et font défaut dans la littérature. Dans cette thèse, nous proposons des mesures physico-chimiques, des mesures électriques et des méthodes de préparation d'échantillon adaptées. Les oxydes de nickel et d'hafnium sont investigués. En plus de la dégradation électrique (chute de résistance), les modifications de ces deux oxydes sont investiguées à trois niveaux : la composition chimique, la morphologie et la structure électronique. Mots-clés : mémoire résistive, mécanisme de changement de résistance, claquage diélectrique, NiO, HfO2, spectroscopie de photoélectrons, microscopie électronique en transmission, microscopie à forme atomique, lacunes d'oxygène.

With low energy consumption, non-volatile memories are interesting for portative applications (USB, mobile phone, laptop …). The Flash memory technology is reaching its physical boundaries and needs to be replaced. New materials and architectures are currently investigated. Oxide Resistive Random Access Memory (OxRRAM) is considered as a good candidate. It is based on a M-O-M (Metal-Oxide-Metal) stack. The information is stored using an electric field or a current that modulates the resistance of the oxide. A better understanding of the resistance switching mechanism is required in order to control the performances of the devices. We investigate the dielectric breakdown that activates the resistance switching properties. Physico-chemical characterization at the nanoscale is required. In this work, we propose proper physico-chemical and electrical measurements. Sample preparation is also considered. Nickel and hafnium oxide are investigated. Besides the evolution of the electrical properties, we analyze the oxide modification at three levels : the chemical composition, the morphology and the electronic structure. ▼ Resumo: Durante os processos de sinteriza??o (diminui??o da porosidade) existem crescimento de gr?os, que podem ser analisados por meio de teorias como a de Ostwald (2),teoria LSW ( 3,4,5 e 6 ) e teoria de Kahlweit ( 8,9 ). Queremos entender o transporte controlado por rea??o na interface, e para tal, foram analisados tais processos no sistema WC-Ti, dentro da faixa de temperatura de 1000 a 1400 ?C, fazendo-se uso da lei temporal ( Dx = Ktn ) , assim como das energias de ativa??o no processo de transporte e rea??o dos elementos. Tais an?lises foram realizadas com o aux?lio da Microssonda Eletr?nica, Microsc?pio de Varredura Eletr?nica, acoplado a um sistema de detec??o de raio-X ( SEM) e microsc?pios ?ticos. Determinou-se a forma??o de diferentes zonas durante o tratamento t?rmico, que foram analisadas detalhadamente para a compreens?o dos processos envolvidos. O crescimento das fases ligadas ? zona de solu??o carbeto-metal, mostrou uma varia??o no expoente n da lei temporal, apresentando valores desde aproximadamente 1 at? 0,3 , indicando uma mudan?a sucessiva no processo de crescimento, onde o valor 1 indica rea??o na interface, e o decr?scimo deste valor indica processos controlados por difus?o ( n = 0,5 ) e processos de forma??o de camadas isoladas, que bloqueiam o transporte dos elementos ( n = 0,3 ). As an?lises das energias de ativa??o forneceram, para as diversas regi?es encontradas, uma varia??o desde 15 a 20 kcal/mol para a zona de rea??o at? 50 kcal/mol para a regi?o mais pr?xima ao tit?nio puro, e foram comparadas com as teorias s?bre crescimento de gr?os para o caso controlado por rea??o na interface,onde os valores experimentais para sistemas semelhantes, apresentaram energias de ativa??o variando entre 80 e 175 kcal/mol. Para estas experi?ncias n?o existe a possibilidade de separar os dois processos b?sicos envolvidos, ou seja, a solu??o de pequenas p?rticulas ou a representa??o no crescimento dos gr?os, sendo que cada processo tem esnergia de ativa??o determinada. Nossos resultados mostraram um processo de solu??o comenergia de ativa??o de 15 a 20 kcal/mol, comprovando que para a teoria LSW, o processo de solu??o n?o pode controlar a rea??o. ▼ Resumo: As esp?cies Pterodon pubescens Benth. (sucupira) e Cordia verbenacea DC s?o plantas utilizadas pela popula??o pelas suas propriedades analg?sicas, anti-inflamat?rias e antirreum?ticas. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito farmacol?gico da associa??o do extrato bruto dos frutos de Pterodon pubescens Benth. (Pp) com o ?leo essencial de Cordia verbenacea DC (Cv) em modelos experimentais in vivo de nocicep??o e inflama??o. Adicionalmente, os extratos, a associa??o dos extratos e dois dos principais compostos ativos, ?-Humuleno e os is?meros de posi??o ?ster 6?-acetoxi-7?-hidroxi-vouacapano-17?-oato de metila e ?ster 6?-hidroxi -7?- acetoxi -vouacapano-17?-oato de metila (vouacapano com m/z 404 ? C1) foram avaliados na migra??o e prolifera??o de queratin?ticos imortalizados humanos (HaCaT) e na atividade anti-inflamat?ria (VEGF e IL-8) in vitro em c?lulas estimuladas pelo fator de necrose tumoral alpha (TNF-?). A administra??o oral das associa??es n?o causou altera??es nos par?metros comportamentais dos animais, no aumento de peso nos testes de toxicidade aguda e teste de campo aberto. A intera??o entre a associa??o dos extratos avaliada pelo m?todo do isobolograma foi classificada como uma intera??o de sinergismo. No teste de formalina, as associa??es foram apenas significativas na fase inflamat?ria. Nos modelos de placa quente e retirada de cauda, as associa??es n?o mostraram efic?cia. No modelo de edema de pata induzido por carragenina, as associa??es mostraram uma redu??o significativa do edema. No modelo de edema de pata induzido por PGE2, a associa??o mostrou uma redu??o significativa do edema. Na migra??o de leuc?citos na peritonite induzida por carragenina, as associa??es n?o reduziram significativamente a migra??o de leuc?citos. Na alodinia mec?nica induzida por Adjuvante Completo de Freund, os dados mostraram que as associa??es foram efetivas na fase aguda com pronunciado efeito na fase cr?nica. Na avalia??o da migra??o celular in vitro, foi demonstrado que o Pp, o Cv e a associa??o de ambos inibiram a prolifera??o e a migra??o celular in vitro. Nestas ?reas, alteram o ambiente, danificam cultivo de arroz e ocasionam preju?zos econ?micos. A preda??o ? uma rela??o ecol?gica interespec?fica que afeta a distribui??o e a abud?ncia das esp?cies. Neste estudo, revisamos o uso e aplica??es desses gastr?podes considerados como pragas que podem ser uma alternativa para um manejo conservador e investigamos a preda??o de ovos do gastr?pode Pomacea dolioides em Itacoatiara, AM, comparando a preda??o entre ?reas rurais e urbanas, per?odos do dia, massas sombreadas e n?o sombreadas, altura das massas, prefer?ncia dos predadores por ovos rec?m-colocados ou maduros e o comportamento dos predadores. Caramujos s?o criados como recurso alimentar para humanos ou ra??o animal para caranguejos, camar?es, galinhas, patos, r?s, porcos e muitas esp?cies de peixes e controle de ervas daninhas em fazendas de arroz. Al?m disso, estes gastr?podes podem ser indicadores de polui??o por cobre, c?dmio, tributilestanho e muitos outros contaminantes. Tamb?m s?o ?teis para a sa?de humana, sendo utilizados no controle de planorb?deos, doen?as de pele e outros tratamentos na medicina tradicional. Entre abril de 2017 a julho de 2018 observou-se 962 massas de ovos nos diferentes per?odos do dia, 492 nas ?reas rurais com 68 preda??o, e nas ?reas urbanas das 470 apenas 9 foram predadas. Houve diferen?a para a m?dia da altura das massas de ovos entre as ?reas (t=15,9223; GL=960; P=0,0016). O substrato mais freq?ente de preda??o nas ?reas rurais foi a planta Montrichardia linifera e nas ?reas urbanas o substrato de madeira. A taxa de preda??o de forma geral foi significativamente diferente entre as duas ?reas (?2=39,637; GL=1; P>0,0001). Os predadores mais frequentes nas ?reas rurais no per?odo do dia foram formigas dos g?neros Solenopsis invicta (N=18; 45%) e Crematogaster cf. carinata (N=6; 15%) e os mais abundantes S. invicta (N=271; 49,82%), Wasmannia aff. inheringi (N=162; 29,78%) e C. cf. carinata (N=62; 11,40%). ▼ Composite NiO-C0.9Gd0.1O1.95 (NiO-GDC), one of the materials most used for the manufacture of anodes of Cells Solid Oxide Fuel (SOFC) currently, were obtained by a chemical route which consists in mixing the precursor solution of NiO and CGO phases obtained previously by the Pechini method. The nanopowders as-obtained were characterized by thermal analysis techniques (thermogravimetry and Differential Scanning Calorimetry) and calcined materials were evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Samples sintered between 1400 and 1500 ° C for 4 h were characterized by Archimedes method. The effects of the composition on the microstructure and electrical properties (conductivity and activation energy) of the composites sintered at 1500 ° C were investigated by electron microscopy and impedance spectroscopy (between 300 and 650 ° C in air). The refinement of the XRD data indicated that the powders are ultrafine and the crystallite size of the CGO phase decreases with increasing content of NiO. Similarly, the crystallite of the NiO phase tends to decrease with increasing concentration of CGO, especially above 50 wt % CGO. Analysis by Archimedes shows a variation in relative density due to the NiO content. Densities above 95% were obtained in samples containing from 50 wt % NiO and sintered between 1450 and 1500 °C. The results of microscopy and impedance spectroscopy indicate that from 30-40 wt.% NiO there is an increase in the number of contacts NiO - NiO, activating the electronic conduction mechanism which governs the process of conducting at low temperatures (300 - 500 °C). On the other hand, with increasing the measuring temperature the mobility of oxygen vacancies becomes larger than that of the electronic holes of NiO, as a result, the high temperature conductivity (500-650 ° C) in composites containing up to 30-40 wt.% of NiO is lower than that of CGO. Variations in activation energy confirm change of conduction mechanism with the increase of the NiO content. The composite containing 50 wt. % of each phase shows conductivity of 19 mS/cm at 650 °C (slightly higher than 13 mS/cm found for CGO) and activation energy of 0.49 eV. Este estudo visa a definição de condições de síntese e processamento cerâmico que possibilitem a obtenção do componente anódico com características adequadas para a operação de uma SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell), ou seja, boa distribuição microestrutural do NiO na matriz de YSZ e porosidade cerca de 30% após redução de NiO. As rotas de síntese selecionadas englobaram a coprecipitação em meio amoniacal, mistura mecânica dos pós e combustão a partir de sais de nitrato. As técnicas de caracterização de pós empregadas incluíram a difração de raios X, microscopia eletrônica de varredura, microscopia eletrônica de transmissão, difração a laser, adsorção gasosa (BET) e picnometria de hélio. Os resultados obtidos indicaram que empregando-se a técnica de coprecipitação, a perda de Ni2+, na forma de complexo [Ni(NH3)n]2+, pode ser minimizada pelo controle do pH em 9,3, mantendo-se a concentração de Ni2+ na solução inicial em 0,1M. No método de mistura mecânica a melhor condição de dispersão dos pós, sem a sedimentação diferencial, foi obtida para valores de potencial zeta em pH 8,0, fixando-se a concentração de dispersante em 0,8% em massa. Na síntese por combustão observou-se que para composições pobres em combustível, os produtos finais apresentaram-se amorfos e com alta área superficial (120,2 m2.g-1). Para as composições ricas em combustível, uréia, os pós obtidos apresentaram-se cristalinos sendo que a intensidade das reflexões do padrão de DRX aumenta com o aumento do excesso de combustível, devido ao aumento da temperatura de reação. No estudo de sinterabilidade dos compactados preparados a partir de pós preparados pelos três métodos determinou-se a temperatura ao redor de 1300 ºC para máxima taxa de densificação e porosidade entre 6,0 e 14%. Os resultados da redução em atmosfera de H2 dos compósitos confirmam que a cinética de reação ocorre em duas etapas, sendo que a primeira etapa com comportamento linear é controlada por reação química na superfície. Na segunda etapa a redução passa a ser controlada pela difusão do gás nos micros poros, gerados pela redução do NiO, diminuindo a taxa de redução.

This study aim the definition of synthesis and ceramic processing conditions of the anodic component suitable for operation of SOFC, i.e, homogeneous distribution of NiO in YSZ matrix and porosity after reduction above 30%. The selected synthesis routes included the co-precipitation in ammonia media, mechanical mixing of powders and combustion reaction from nitrate salts. The characterization techniques of powders included the X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, laser diffraction, nitrogen gas adsorption technique (BET) and Helium pycnometry. Nanomaterials are generally defined as those materials that have a characteristic length scale smaller than 100 nm (1 nm= 10 9 m). In recent years, many studies have been focused on reducing the size of semiconductors to the nanoscale regime, led to a fascinating class of novel materials that possess characteristic between bulk and molecular descriptions. This review involves the preparation, structural, morphological, optical, magnetic, electrical and high pressure electrical resistivity characterizations of semiconducting nanoparticles as functions of dopants, dopant percentage, temperature and pressure. Chapter 1 describes the significance of nanoscaled materials and their unique properties. Chapter 2 summarizes the most common type of instrumentation and characterization techniques. Chapter 3 details the preparation and investigations of magnetic, electrical and high pressure electrical resistivity studies on transition metal (Co, Ni and Cu) doped TiO2 nanoparticles. Chapter 4 summarizes the preparation and investigations of magnetic, electrical and high pressure electrical resistivity studies on copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles. Chapter 5 summarizes preparation and investigations of magnetic, electrical and high pressure electrical resistivity studies on NiO nanoparticles. NiO nanoparticles were prepared through the novel precipitation method. An analysis of the conducting mechanism of NiO revealed that, and#963;ac varies conspicuously with temperature dependence. High pressure electrical resistivity with two different particle size of NiO results the continuous drop of resistivity at lower pressure region and it showed a nearly constant value at above 5 GPa. In conclusion, the absence of abrupt increase in electrical resistivity could infer the scarcity of structural disorder or any other phase transition. ▼ Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) solar cells are the current leader in thin film photovoltaic technologies: with record device efficiencies comparable to any other thin film photovoltaic, and a lower cost per watt-peak than any other industrial photovoltaic. Yet device efficiency and cost must be further improved to continue making these devices economically competitive. This thesis discusses cost reduction of CdTe solar cells by creating ultrathin (< 1 µm thick) CdTe absorber layers through Magnetron Sputter Deposition. Previous research on these devices has demonstrated excellent stability, but significantly reduced efficiency when compared to CdTe devices with thicker (typically > 3 µm thick) absorber layers. To avoid this efficiency reduction, research is conducted on adding a < 10 nm NiO layer between the CdTe and the metal back contact. Ideally this NiO layer would act as electron-blocking / hole-transporting layer (HTL), which is typically necessary with ultrathin solar absorbers. NiO layers were grown by Atomic Layer Deposition, with surface topography characterized through Atomic Force Microscopy (ALD), crystal structure characterized through Grazing-Incidence X-Ray Diffraction, and optical absorption characterized through UV-Vis Spectrometry. These methods demonstrated that the ALD NiO films were conformal and continuous, p-type, and had an electronic band-gap of 3.55 eV. 500 nm CdTe solar cells developed with 3.5 nm NiO also yielded promising results: Fill Factor was enhanced by 6.74%, and Photon Conversion Efficiency (PCE) was enhanced by 1.12% with the addition of a 3.5 nm NiO layer. Beyond these experimental tests, additional simulation work using Analysis of Microelectronic and Photonics Structures (AMPS) software demonstrated that CdTe simulations gained 247 mV of open-circuit voltage, and a PCE increase of 6.13% with the addition of a 3.5 nm layer of NiO. The results demonstrate that NiO could act as an effective HTL, and that further experimental work should be conducted on solar cells utilizing ultrathin CdTe.

▼ Understanding and controlling the electronic structure of materials are longstanding endeavors in semiconductor physics and technology, especially in the transparent conducting oxide community. In thin films of CdO and NiO, such control has been attempted on these individual materials through alloying with other binary oxides. No such studies, however, exist on the electronic structure evolution of the combined CdO-NiO alloy system. This dissertation addresses this issue by conducting and reporting a bandgap engineering study on NixCd1-xO alloys. This dissertation first reviews previous bandgap engineering studies performed on other systems, initially focusing on alloying and later focusing on other advanced bandgap engineering methods. A discussion of the earliest point defect and ADM theory studies then justifies the dissertation’s selection of CdO—it’s strong electrical properties are suitable for bandgap engineering. Investigations of previous literature involving the Group II-oxides of ZnO, MgO, and CdO lead to two key conclusions. First, few studies exist in which CdO is a primary alloying material. Second, the properties of CdO are tunable with better complementary materials such as NiO, a transition metal (TM) oxide, instead of commonly used ZnO and MgO. Given their unique properties, there is an opportunity to investigate the structure, properties, and behavior of CdO system after alloying it with NiO. Hall effect, optical reflectance and transmittance and X-ray diffraction measurements are utilized first and the structural, electrical transport and optical properties of NixCd1-xO films sputtered in argon (Ar) with radio frequency (RF) magnetron are then reported. This initial study shows that NixCd1-xO alloys are rocksalt-structured and exhibit a monotonic shift of the (220) diffraction peak to higher 2θ angles with increasing Ni concentration. The electron mobility and electron concentration decrease with increasing Ni—becoming highly resistive for Ni content greater than 43.4% Ni. This decrease in n-type conductivity is consistent with the movement expected from a virtual crystal approximation (VCA) of the conduction band minimum (CBM) from below to above the Fermi stabilization energy (EFS). The optical absorption edge of the alloys is tunable from CdO to NiO. An intrinsic, carrier-free bandgap of the alloys, Eg, was calculated from the electrical and optical measurements, accounting for Burstein-Moss carrier filling and carrier-induced bandgap correlation effects. An unusual super linear composition dependence of the intrinsic bandgap is revealed when accounting for these effects. The super linear behavior was initially attributed to an interaction between the conduction-band extended states and localized donor and acceptor d-states of Ni. ▼ Composite NiO-C0.9Gd0.1O1.95 (NiO-GDC), one of the materials most used for the manufacture of anodes of Cells Solid Oxide Fuel (SOFC) currently, were obtained by a chemical route which consists in mixing the precursor solution of NiO and CGO phases obtained previously by the Pechini method. The nanopowders as-obtained were characterized by thermal analysis techniques (thermogravimetry and Differential Scanning Calorimetry) and calcined materials were evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Samples sintered between 1400 and 1500 ° C for 4 h were characterized by Archimedes method. The effects of the composition on the microstructure and electrical properties (conductivity and activation energy) of the composites sintered at 1500 ° C were investigated by electron microscopy and impedance spectroscopy (between 300 and 650 ° C in air). The refinement of the XRD data indicated that the powders are ultrafine and the crystallite size of the CGO phase decreases with increasing content of NiO. Similarly, the crystallite of the NiO phase tends to decrease with increasing concentration of CGO, especially above 50 wt % CGO. Analysis by Archimedes shows a variation in relative density due to the NiO content. Densities above 95% were obtained in samples containing from 50 wt % NiO and sintered between 1450 and 1500 °C. The results of microscopy and impedance spectroscopy indicate that from 30-40 wt.% NiO there is an increase in the number of contacts NiO - NiO, activating the electronic conduction mechanism which governs the process of conducting at low temperatures (300 - 500 °C). On the other hand, with increasing the measuring temperature the mobility of oxygen vacancies becomes larger than that of the electronic holes of NiO, as a result, the high temperature conductivity (500-650 ° C) in composites containing up to 30-40 wt.% of NiO is lower than that of CGO. Variations in activation energy confirm change of conduction mechanism with the increase of the NiO content. The composite containing 50 wt. % of each phase shows conductivity of 19 mS/cm at 650 °C (slightly higher than 13 mS/cm found for CGO) and activation energy of 0.49 eV.
