Šiuo metu KTU studijas aptarnauja akademinių duomenų informacinės sistemos, kurių pagrindu yra rengiamos įvairios ataskaitos rektoratui, dekanatams ir kt., tačiau šią informaciją naudoti studijų kokybei gerinti yra problematiška dėl neapibrėžtos metodikos, nepritaikytos metrikos ir netinkamos pateikimo formos. Tyrimo pagrindinis tikslas – pagerinti universiteto Strateginio planavimo ir kokybės skyriaus procesų operatyvųjį valdymą, sukuriant studijų kokybę rodančių švieslenčių prototipus pagal šias roles: rektoriui, dekanui, katedros vedėjui, dėstytojui. Šiam tikslui pasiekti darbe bus sukurta metodika, skirta įvertinti modulio dėstymo efektyvumą naudojantis sukauptais universiteto akademiniais duomenimis. Rezultatai pateikiami naudojant duomenų hierarchijas ir pagrindinius vykdymo indikatorius (angl. KPI – key performance indicators). Tyrimas buvo atliekamas su 2011-2012 mokslo metų Informatikos fakulteto akademiniais duomenimis. Tiriamojo darbo metu, naudojantis KTU akademinių duomenų pagrindu, buvo gauti modulių dėstymo efektyvumo rezultatai pagal pateiktą metodiką. Rezultatus įtakoja metodikoje naudotos KPI minimalios, tikslo, svertinių koeficientų reikšmės, kurios gali būti koreguojamos KPI administratoriaus. Galutinė realizacija leidžia palyginti modulių, katedrų, fakultetų dėstymo efektyvumą atitinkamai pagal besimokančių studentų akademinius rezultatus.

Currently academic studies in KTU rely on academic data information systems which is as a basis for various reports prepared Rector, dean and others. However to use this information to improve the quality of studies is problematic because of its uncertain methodologies, metrics and inadequate presentation. The main goal of this study is to improve University‘s Strategic Planning and Quality department‘s operative process management, creating dashboard prototypes showing study quality for the following roles: the rector, dean, head of department, lecturer. In order to achieve this goal new methodology will be made in order to evaluate module teaching effectiveness using the data collected by the University academic information system. Results are being presented using data hierarchies and key performance indicators (KPIs). The study was done using 2011-2012 Faculty of Informatics academic data. By the use of KTU academic data, modules teaching effectiveness was calculated using new methodology. Results depend on KPIs minimal, target, weighting values which can be adjusted by KPI administrator. Final realization allows to compare modules, department, faculty teaching effectiveness by students academic results.

A presente pesquisa estudou o modelo de implementação de indicadores de desempenho desenvolvido por Neely et al. (2002) com o objetivo de empregá-lo em uma organização empresarial nacional do setor de varejo, através de uma abordagem intervencionista. Em linhas gerais, o modelo parte da identificação dos principais grupos de cliente por produto correlacionando-os com os objetivos de negócio dos quais são balanceados sob as perspectivas do Balanced Scorecard (BSC) (KAPLAN; NORTON, 1997). Na sequência leva à definição dos indicadores de desempenho juntamente com as iniciativas e atividades a serem desenvolvidas pelos principais gestores com o objetivo de proverem o alcance das metas definidas. A organização que permitiu a realização do estudo de caso foi a Padaria Brasileira, uma rede de padarias da região do ABC paulista em franco crescimento orgânico, onde a questão da pesquisa foi respondida por meio de entrevistas estruturadas e semiestruturadas, além de coleta de documentos e registro do conteúdo observatório resultante de reuniões e visitas periódicas às unidades da organização. Os dados coletados foram tabulados e compilados de acordo com a metodologia descrita pelo modelo, cada qual em um formulário específico e pré-definido. A análise dos dados seguiu os critérios sugeridos pelo autor e outros específicos em função do tipo do negócio. A despeito da organização já possuir uma série de indicadores de desempenho, o estudo possibilitou a formalização dos indicadores não declarados oficiais e a inclusão de novos indicadores, sobretudo de cunho não financeiro inclinados à perspectiva da visão cliente, dos fornecedores e dos critérios de aprendizado e crescimento. Ao final, foi possível concluir que o modelo aplicado teve aderência ao tipo de negócio, salvo pequenas adaptações em razão de algumas limitações encontradas na organização como o nível de formalidade ainda em processo de aperfeiçoamento e a centralização de comando. O estudo também remeteu a uma modesta contribuição para o aprimoramento do modelo de implementação, pois pôde identificar e mapear potenciais gaps, níveis de aderência, premissas e restrições entre o modelo de referência aplicado e as especificidades da empresa e do segmento estudado. Vale ressaltar que o framework foi desenvolvido e testado, segundo Neely et al. (2002), em organizações multinacionais do setor Industrial e de Manufatura.

This research has studied the implementation model of performance indicators developed by Neely et al. (2002) in order to use it in a national business organization from retail sector, through an interventionist approach. In general, the model identifying key customer groups by product correlating them with the business goals of which are balanced under Balanced Scorecard perspectives (BSC) (KAPLAN, NORTON, 1997). ▼ Effektiv logistik är ofta nyckeln bakom framgångsrika företag. Då logistik är ett väldigt komplext problemområde har det blivit nödvändigt att utveckla intelligenta system som hjälpmedel vid beslutsfattande. Klassificeringssystem av artiklar är ett sådant system, vilket ska underlätta att flytta fokus från den enskilda artikeln till artiklar som kräver extra mycket uppmärksamhet. En stor del forskning har utförts inom klassificeringsområdet de senaste åren. Denna har dock varit av ren matematisk karaktär där olika lösningar presenterats vilka i grund och botten behandlat skapande av en artikelrangordning utifrån en samling parametrar. Hur parametrarna väljs och vilka implikationer valet av matematisk modell får är ännu obehandlat ur ett logistiskt perspektiv. Denna rapport syftar till att påbörja fyllandet av den lucka som återfinns inom klassificeringsområdet. Detta innebär framtagande av ett systematiskt förhållningssätt vid byggande av ett klassificeringssystem, där val av parametrar och matematisk modell utgår från företagets behov och förutsättningar. Parametrarna att bygga klassificeringen på är systemets verkliga kärna och utgör därmed grunden för de beslut som fattas utifrån det. För att klassificeringen på ett effektivt sätt ska kunna ligga till grund för beslutsfattande inom ramen för logistik krävs att hänsyn tas till företagets hela logistiska verksamhet. Parametrarna identifieras därför genom att analysera en artikels huvudsakliga kontaktytor med en organisation, där rapporten avgränsas till inköp, lager och kund. Vid de tre stegen identifieras parametrar vilka är mått på de direkta såväl som indirekta kostnader förknippade med de olika artiklarna, samt hur stort värde de tillför organisationen i stort. Valet av matematisk modell får implikationer både för det slutgiltiga klassificeringssystemets precision såväl som hur stor kostnad skapandet utgör, där mer komplexa modeller ger ett mer pålitligt klassificeringssystem samtidigt som de är mer resurskrävande att implementera. Genom att följa rapportens riktlinjer kan ett klassificeringssystem byggas vilket möjliggör en differentierad materialhantering där operativa och strategiska beslut är väl underbyggda, och där de resurser som förbrukas i och med hanteringen av de olika artiklarna får maximal utdelning.

I dagens samhälle befinner sig tillverkningstekniksindustrin i en övergångsfas på väg in i en digital era. Till skillnad från Industry 3.0 som involverar automatisering av enstaka maskiner och processer omfattar Industry 4.0 digitalisering och uppkoppling av alla aktiviteter i sin värdekedja. Mängden av tillgängliga data ökar hela tiden. Målet med detta examensarbete var att ta reda på vad digitalisering kan tillföra till Scanias motortillverkning med fokus på förbättring av nuvarande KPI:er (Key Performance Indicator). För att säkerställa att det ovanstående målet uppfylls formulerades nedanstående frågeställningar: • Hur kan Scania Motortillverkning förbättra KPI i bearbetningsprocesser genom insamling och analys av data från maskiner? o Vilka faktorer påverkar Scanias nuvarande KPI? o Vilka av dem har potential att utvecklas vidare eller styras genom införande av digitalisering? o Vilka maskindata är nödvändiga att samlas in för att öka KPI:er och på vilket sätt kan data samlas in? För att besvara frågorna och identifiera vilka data som kan tillföra nytta, användes främst kvalitativa metoder. Data samlades in från olika aspekter av genom praktik, observationer, intervjuer och studiebesök. För att kunna dra generella slutsatser och för att bekräfta hypoteser från de kvalitativa studierna utfördes även en kvantitativ studie som utförs på vevstakeline, genom sortering och analys av de befintliga insamlade data i dagens produktion. Efter en litteraturstudie kombinerad med intern informationssamling, kunde fokusområdet avgränsas ytterligare till OPE (Overall Production Effectiveness) som är väsentlig för produktiviteten och ofta inte når målvärdet i nuläget. Genom en analys av PUS (Produktionsuppföljningssystem) kunde faktorer som har en negativ inverkan på OPE tas fram. Genom intervjuer med olika funktioner inom Scania kunde författarna identifiera många konkreta parametrar, vilka kan fördelas till tre kategorier, Maskindata, Verktygdata och Processdata. En teknisk skanning av verktygs- och maskintillverkare genomfördes också för att kunna redogöra för vilka data som är möjliga att samla in med befintliga insamlingsmetoder. Resultatet från detta examensarbetet bildar en utgångspunkt för att kunna digitalisera Scanias motorbearbetning, digitaliseringen kräver en del nya investeringar som författarna anser komma att löna sig på många plan.

Bakgrund: Prestationsmätning syftar till att implementera ett företags strategi. För att lyckas med det krävs tillgång till relevant information för att ta rätt beslut. Nya alternativa organisationsformer som shared service centres har lett till en ökad efterfrågan på ny anpassad ekonomistyrning. En förfrågan om att utvärdera P2P-processens prestationsmätningssystem på IKEA AB, Finance Services ledde till utvärderingsstudien. Syfte: Syftet med utvärderingsstudien är att utveckla en modell med dimensioner, för att analysera prestationsmätningssystem på shared service centres. Analysmodellen kommer appliceras på P2P-processen inom IKEA AB, Finance Services. Om brister identifieras finns avsikten att föreslå hur de bör åtgärdas. Metod: Undersökningsdesignen för studien är en utvärderingsstudie. Empiriskt material har hämtats in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Slutsats: Avsaknaden av mål leder till otydlighet gentemot intressenter. Samtidigt görs en generalisering där samtliga mått benämns som KPIs för att förenkla styrningen. Det påverkar verksamheten eftersom det saknas riktlinjer för hur prestationer bedöms och om de ligger på en rimlig nivå. En tydligare uppdelning av prestationsmåtten skulle leda till en bättre styrning av verksamheten och lägga mer fokus på att nå övergripande mål.

Background: The purpose of a performance measurement system is to implement a business strategy. In order to successfully implement this will the resources of relevant information be required. New options of organization structures creates an increasing demand of suitable financial control systems. A request to evaluate the performance measurement system on the P2P-process on IKEA AB, Finance Services made this evaluation study possible. Purpose: The purpose with this evaluation study is to develop a model with dimensions, used for an analysis of performance measurement systems on shared service centres. The model will be used to evaluate the P2P-process on IKEA AB, Finance Services. If deficits are detected we intend to suggest solutions for these problems. Method: The method used in this study is an evaluation study. The empirical data was gathered through semi-structured interviews. Conclusion: The absence of concrete goals creates vagueness to stakeholders. In addition, all the performance measures is named KPIs to make the financial control easier for employees. This affects the business because it lacks to provide guidance regarding how to assess performances and whether the performances seems to be at reasonable levels. A transparent distinction between the performance measures would create a better operations management and focus more on achieving strategic goals.

本論文は、経営管理に役立つ業務プロセス改革を効率的かつ効果的に進めるために、①業務レベルの課題として、効率的かつ効果的な現状業務の可視化、②管理レベルの課題として、業務プロセス改革に最適なＫＰＩ（Key Performance Indicator:重要業績指標）の設定、③戦略レベルの課題として、戦略・戦術にひもづいた業務プロセス改革対象業務の抽出の３つに分けて探究し、それぞれに新手法を考案した上で、実務での適用効果を確認したものである。第１章では、本研究の目的とフレームワークを明確にしている。すなわち、業務レベル、管理レベル、および、戦略レベルにおける業務プロセス改革の課題を整理し、課題解決の考え方と新手法について考察し、実務での適用と結論に至る筋道を示している。第２章では、業務機能の可視化について考察している。すなわち、加工組立型製造業の業務機能調査表を基にして、自己チェックで現状業務を可視化する新手法「業務機能プール」を考案し、その詳細について検討している。さらに、「業務機能プール」で可視化された現状業務を、業務フローで表現する新手法「Stream+」を考案し、その詳細についても検討している。新手法を実際に製造業の国内業務、および、海外生産拠点における業務プロセス改革プロジェクトに適用し、いずれも効率的かつ効果的に活用できることを確認している。第３章では、最適なＫＰＩの設定について考察している。まず、多くの業務プロセス改革事例から１，１８７のＫＰＩを収集整理している。つぎに、ＫＰＩの設定を支援する新手法「ＫＰＩプール」を考案し、その詳細について検討している。さらに、「ＫＰＩプール」を実際に業務プロセス改革プロジェクトで適用し、経営管理の改善に役立つＫＰＩを抽出できることを提示している。第４章では、戦略・戦術に役立つ業務プロセス改革について考察している。まず、「ＫＰＩプール」の改修を行っている。つぎに、「業務機能プール」と「ＫＰＩプール」を使って、戦略・戦術と業務プロセス改革対象の業務機能候補およびＫＰＩ候補を同時に抽出できる新手法「戦略展開フロー」を考案し、その詳細について検討している。さらに、「戦略展開フロー」を業務プロセス改革研修に適用しその効果を検証した上で、中堅機械製造企業の経営計画策定に実際に適用し、その効果を確認している。第５章では、本論文の結びとして、本論文の発見事実と貢献、今後の研究の展望について取りまとめられている。

Sammanfattning Bakgrund och syfte: Företag i det privata näringslivet, som tillverkar högteknologiska produkter, möter en dynamisk marknad som styr hur kärnverksamheter med nödvändighet måste anpassa sig för att på ett konkurrenskraftigt vis möta efterfrågade varor och tjänster. För att kunna producera varor och utveckla en verksamhet krävs stödverksamheter som till exempel hanterar fastighetsbehov och facility management tjänster (FM-tjänster). Ett sätt att mäta kostnadseffektivitet i fastighetsbestånd och FM-tjänster kan vara mätbara key performance indicators (KPI). KPI är genom tidigare studier kända. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka KPI som är mest kostnadseffektiva. Metod: Studien har inhämtat data genom analys av fastighetsbeståndets delar ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv. Koncernens fastighetbestånd på två olika orter (A & B) har komparativt studerats med målsättningen att hitta skillnader i prestanda och kostnadseffektivitet vid jämförelse av KPI mellan de båda orterna. KPI beräknades och av utvald data kunde analysen finna att det finns större potential i vissa KPI och de har därmed större inverkan på kostnadseffektiviteten. En modell skapades för beslutsprocessen vid förvärv, bibehållande och utveckling samt anskaffning av fastigheter och FM-tjänster. Resultat: Det finns kostnadsposter med hög potential för besparing men vilken post som är mest lönsam att göra besparing i skiftar mellan orterna. KPI måste inte skilja mellan orterna vilket kan betyda att de är kostnadseffektiva eller att de är lika kostnadsdrivande på båda orterna. Optimala värden för KPI saknas (normvärde). Konklusion: KPI kan prioriteras och har olika stor inverkan på kostnadseffektivitet i fastighetsbeståndet. KPI har en inbördes relation. Hur stark relationen är behöver undersökas genom framtida studier.

Background and purpose: Companies in the private sector, which manufactures high-tech products, face a dynamic market that controls how the core activities necessarily have to adapt to a competitive way to meet demand goods and services. In order to produce goods and develop a business requires support activities such as handling property needs and facility management services (FM) services. One way to measure the cost of the property portfolio and FM services can be measurable key performance indicators (KPI). KPI is through previous studies known. The purpose of the study is to investigate the KPI that is most cost effective. Method: The study has collected data through analysis of property portfolio share from an economic perspective. The Group's property portfolios in two different locations (A & B) have been comparatively studied with the aim to identify differences in performance and cost when comparing the KPI between the two places. ▼ Det är inte bara produkter och tjänster som konkurrerar med varandra, utan även försörjningskedjor i stor utsträckning. I ett företags omvärld sker det ständiga förändringar som sätter hög press på att kunna leverera produkter och tjänster i enlighet med evigt föränderliga marknader som företaget verkar inom. Nyttan av att se över sitt företag i termer av effektivitet kan i slutändan leda till att komperativa fördelar kan uppnås relativt konkurrenterna. Ett led i att uppnå effektivitet i marknaden och således skapa kundvärden är att se över sin försörjningskedja och utvärdera dess effektivitet i termer av komparativa fördelar. I sökandet efter den mest effektiva försörjningskedjan, erfordras det av företaget ha en rigid överblick över dess kedja, från produktion till slutkonsument. Men en sådan överblick bör även ske på andra gogrunder än effektivitet; utvärdering av försörjningskedjan bör i termer av effektivitet, även skapa en viss medvetenhet företagsledningar likväl. När vi talar om logistiken i företag kan man inte undgå att tänka på de kostnader som kan tänkas uppstå med de aktiviteter som inryms i en kedja. I strävan mot en mer effektivare försörjningskedja, kan det tänkas som sådant att kostnadseffektiviteten bör tänkas utgöra en vägledning till hur väl ett företag företar sig att skapa komparativa fördelar. I detta examensarbete har således kostnadseffektiva logistiska prestationsmätningar utvärderats gentemot gängse modeller och ramverk föreslaget av olika teorier. Resultat visar entydigt på att prestationsmätning av ett företags kostnader, logistiska kostnader det vill säga, bör innefattas av en rigid och strukturerad process där avsaknandet av mer detaljerade kostnader skapar [mycket] svaga prestationsmätningar till följd av detta. Propositionen om att information är en vägledande variabel, är inte helt utan fog; utan ett detaljerat kostnadsinformationsflöde, kan ett företag inte företa ta sig att skapa modeller och strukturer av prestationsmätningar rörandes kostnader i logistiken, enligt vad examensarbetet påvisar. Detta är eller kan vara till följd av att integration mellan olika aktörer i försörjningskedjan som exempelvis tredjepartlogistik och andra logistiska partners saknas och detta medför att man "håller inne" med detaljerade information som annars skulle kunna begagna och skapa 8 trovärdiga prestationsmätningar av kostnader. I fallet med Company AB, visar resultaten entydigt på att integration mellan aktörer i än mer omfattning än dagens uppsättning just på detta. Observera dock att detta inte bör vara fallet i andra företag, men just i Company AB var detta påtagligen. Vidare kan det hävdas, i enlighet med examensarbetets resultat att det ändock går att utföra prestationsmätning om än information saknas; med lite information tillshands kan man utföra prestationsmätning men då i en begränsad omfattning. Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur professionella tjänsteorganisationer mäter och följer upp prestationer i verksamheten samt vilken funktion som prestationsmätnings-systemet har för implementering och uppföljning av organisationens strategier och mål. Metod: Metodvalet är en kvalitativ studie byggt på undersökningens syfte att bättre förstå hur studieobjektet i detta fall en kunskapsintensiv organisation mäter och följer upp prestationer för att nå sina strategiska mål. Den analytiska processen har utgått från att objektivt undersöka om det finns en överenstämmelse mellan befintlig teori och den empiriska undersökningen. Samtidigt har det varit viktigt att vara öppen för en djupare och subjektiv tolkning av det empiriska materialet för att på så sätt finna nyskapande och meningsfulla insikter inom det undersökta området. Genom att använda en intervjuguide istället för ett detaljerat frågeformulär anser vi att vi har uppnått en större följsamhet under intervjuarbetet samtidigt som respondenterna självständigt har kunnat utveckla sina tankar och åsikter. Slutsatser: Slutsatserna som författarna dragit i denna studie är att professionella tjänsteorganisationer generellt bör använda relativt få indikatorer vid användandet av prestationsmätningssystem för att implementera och genomföra strategier. Bakgrunden är att dessa företag många gånger kännetecknas av komplexa processer som kan vara svåra att styra och följa upp. Författarnas uppfattning baserat på analysen av empirin och den refererade forskningen, är att det idag många gånger saknas ett integrerat prestationsmätningssystem som mäter och följer upp att prestationerna utvecklas i linje organisationens strategier och mål. Visserligen sker prestationsmätning lokalt ute i organisationen där ansvaret för genomförandet är delegerat till linjecheferna. Emellertid anser författarna att det inte sker en medveten uppföljning och utvärdering på ledningsnivå vilket därmed riskerar leda till att prestationsmätningssystemet fulla potential inte utnyttjas i organisationen. Istället för att vara ett integrerat prestationsmätningssystem för strategisk implementering och utvärdering i organisation blir det ett socialt och värdeskapande system där prestationsmätningen sker rutinmässigt enligt direktiv från ledningen och HR-funktionen. Skall prestationsmätningssystemet fungera som ett integrerat ledningssystem anser författarna att ledningen måste vara ytterst ansvarig och delaktig i genomförandet och uppföljningen av att prestationerna sker i linje med organisationens strategier och mål.

Bakgrund: Ökad decentralisering och ökade krav på kostnadseffektivitet har tillsammans med andra faktorer gjort att företag med global produktionsstrategi möter nya utmaningar när det kommer till att utforma prestationsmätningssystem. Få studier har gjorts i syfte att belysa hur ett vertikalt och horisontellt styrningsperspektiv kan användas för att utforma en effektiv prestationsmätning inom företag med global produktionsstrategi. Genom att möjliggöra integrering av ett vertikalt och horisontellt styrperspektiv kring prestationsmätning görs ett försök att lösa de utmaningar som finns kring att styra företag med global produktion. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att genom kartläggning, och jämförelse av prestationsmätning inom tre företag med global produktionsstrategi identifiera aspekter för en effektiv prestationsmätning med vertikal och horisontell styrning. Aspekterna ämnar mynna ut i en empiriskt förankrad referensram gällande prestationsmätning för företag med en global produktionsstrategi. Metod: Studien är en kvalitativ flerfallstudie på tre globala produktionsföretag. Teoretiskt material sammanställdes till en konceptuell modell som låg till grund för empiriinsamlingen. Datainsamlingen har skett genom intervjuer med personal på fallföretagen samt interna och externa dokument. Slutsats: Värdeskapande genom standardiserade produktionssystem har identifierats som viktigt för att kunna vara kostnadseffektiv med en global produktion. Dessutom blir en nedbrytning av vision och strategi och informationsutbyte mellan enheter viktigt för att skapa en likartad struktur i prestationsmätningen. För en effektiv styrning krävs även en mix av mått som även kan användas för jämförelser. Prestationsmätningen kan visualiseras med hjälp av ett kommunikationsverktyg som sammanlänkar olika enheter och möjliggör beslutsfattande på olika nivåer.

▼ Over the last decades, air traffic facilitates the movement of people and goods all over the world, enabling economic growth and development. Despite the impact air traffic has on industries and systems all over the world, the aviation industry is influenced by the same factors as well. Energy prices, the economic situation, population growth and other aspects do impact airline businesses, as the most recent economic downturn illustrates perfectly. The world we live in over a couple of decades may vary in many aspects and it is impos- sible to predict all the factors, decisions and actions that will shape it in the future. The understanding of world as one global system, its dependencies and dynamics can never be perfect, and is limited by our knowledge. Now and in the future. Despite the ability to make perfect forecasts how the world will look like in the future, scenarios can help to define how factors will act so a variety of future pathways can be explored. In order to help airline businesses and organisation, such as the IATA, formulating and validating strategies, this work focuses on the development of a framework that enables the forma- tion and validation of scenarios that are based on dynamics, dependencies and relations of the global system. Based on a system dynamics approach, a Integrated Assessment Model is developed based on proven concepts of socio-economic and climatological modelling. This model will form the basis for the other models that will be added to calculate the demand for passenger kilometers, irrespective of the transport mode. Based on pricing and time expenditures of a journey by a transport mode, a distribution of passenger kilometers per transport mode is calculated. An Air Transport Model is used to mimic airline operations based on three types of aircraft. In this model, the transport demand, expressed in RPKs, is used to drive the demand for flights. Depending on the utilisation capacity ratio, an airline is able to cope with the demand. Above capacity utilisation ratios, the airline has to delay flights or order new assets (aircraft or runways) in order to accommodate the transport demand. Under some situations, this might leed to higher airfares or higher time expenditures per flight, which affect the balance of transport kilometers in respect to the other transport mode. Based on the performed amount of flights and RPKs, the Air Transport Model calculated essential KPIs, which are used to express the performance of the airline businesses. A Value Operations Methodology is used to validate the performance for both economic and non-economic aspects of an airline. By this methodology, several aircraft options and airline strategies can be validated under different socio-economic scenarios. ▼ La implementació de les Tecnologies de la informació i la Comunicació (TIC) i la digitalització de la imatge medica ha suposat un canvi en tot el progres clínic assistencial per part de radiòlegs i metges nuclears encarregats de realitzar l'informe diagnòstic i les intervencions radiològiques. Actualment, els sistemes d'informació coneguts com Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS), i Hospital Information System (HIS) permeten el maneig dels estudis adquirits, el seu informat i el seguiment dels processos de gestió associats als fluxos de l'activitat assistencial. Propiciat per aquest profund canvi han nascut noves oportunitats i necessitats que, desafortunadament, no han sigut resoltes i integrades en la majoria dels entorns hospitalaris. Per exemple, gracies a la digitalització de la imatge i als avanços en investigació, és possible obtindré dades quantitatives de l'exploració adquirida que reflecteixen l'estat d'una malaltia o de l'efecte d'un fàrmac sobre aquesta. Aquestes mesures es coneixen com biomarcadors d'imatge. Per altra part, actualment els informes realitzats pels metges especialistes no tenen una estructura que impedisca una variabilitat en el contingut i en conseqüència l'absència potencial d'informació rellevant pel metge peticionari de l'exploració. El disseny i desenvolupament dels informes estructurats mitjançant l'ús de lèxics normalitzats i plantilles es factible amb les TIC. Aquests informes deuen establir-se per malalties i lesions concretes, i deuen estar consensuats entre els metges especialistes de la imatge i els metges peticionaris. Degut al volum de dades generades pels sistemes d'informació citats anteriorment, es crea contínuament una font de coneixement de dades que no son explotades. L'extracció d'aquest coneixement a través d'indicadors deu de permetre visualitzar l'estat actual dels serveis de radiologia i de medicina nuclear, de tal manera que es possibilite corregir els colls de botella i realitzar accions correctores oportunes front a una situació critica. El proposit final és promoure un funcionament òptim dels serveis i facilitar la presa de decisions fonamentades a les dades d'activitat que millor s'ajusten per a una millor atenció al pacient. Aquesta Tesi Doctoral té per objectiu l'integració eficient dels biomarcadors d'imatge, els informes estructurats, i els indicadors d'activitat en la pràctica assistencial dels serveis de radiologia i de medicina nuclear. Per aconseguir aquest objectiu s'utilitzaren estàndards d'imatge medica com el Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine (DICOM) i altres com eXtensible Language Market (XML). Mitjançant la tecnologia JAVA es desenvolupà una plataforma per a la integració dels biomarcadors d'imatge. Mitjançant l'utilització de lèxics com el Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine - Clinical Terms (SNOMED-CT) i Radiology Lexicon (RADLEX), més l'estàndard DICOM i l'estàndard HML5, es va implantar una aplicació que permet l'integració de l'informe estructurat.
