▼ The study aims to analyze the effects of topiramato on the craving of crack users. It is an open crossover clinical trial involving users from the Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Drugs (CAPSad) in city of Parnamirim, RN, approved by the CEP CAAE: 38710614.1.0000.5537, respecting the norms of the resolution n. 466/2012/CNS. The study produced preliminary two scientific papers: a theoretical essay and an integrative review, as a way of seeking the state of art. The first paper was based in the theoretical framework of Hinds, Chaves and Cypress, which focuses different contexts, from the issues of individual use to the coping policies in Brazil, highlighting that the situation and the complexity of the phenome requires coping strategies for the full attention to the user, family and society. As a result of the integrative review, among the 902 retrieved records, eight of them presented therapeutic schemes with positive effects for the craving of cocaine. They used nine different drugs. It is important to spot out that there was no result for the craving of crack. The data collection was conducted from December 2014 to July 2015 and has as sample predominantly single males. The sample was composed of 30 subjects who met the inclusion criteria: adults, age from 18 years, diagnosis of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) for cocaine/crack; cognitive capacity preserved; attendance to the service, participated at least three visits in the 12 months prior to data collection; and accepted to be monitored in the proposed treatment. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics from the Statistical Package of Support for Social Sciences (SPSS) on the instruments: 1) Alcohol, Smoking, and Substance Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST), pointing out, among other results, that only 14% used crack/cocaine weekly during treatment, while 83% used daily or weekly after the washout period; 2) Barratt Impulsiveness Scale, with an average of 80.23 and 77.47 with and without drug treatment, respectively. An analysis from the Student t test show no significant differences in impulsivity with or without the drug; and 3) Cocaine-Craving Questionnaire-Brief (CCK-B), indicating that the number of users with craving intensity level is significantly higher without drug treatment (86%) than with treatment (33%). The analysis between craving and level of impulsivity showed that there is a low
correlation (Pearson) between these two variables during treatment and after the washout, demonstrating that impulsivity has low influence on the outcome of drug therapy. As conclusion, it was noted that the topiramate produces positive effect on reducing the craving for crack users and their use is a relevant strategy for efficacy in the treatment of crack users.

de nível médio
de enfermagem que prestam assistência aos usuários dos Centros
de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS) da rede
de atenção à saúde mental no Estado
do Rio Grande do Norte (RN). Método: Estudo descritivo, transversal, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa realizado no período
de junho a setembro
de 2014 nos 38 CAPS distribuídos pelo estado. Após aprovação

do Rio Grande do Norte (CEP/UFRN) sob parecer n° 508.430 CAAE: 25851913.7.0000.5537 em 20
de dezembro
de 2013 os dados foram coletados a partir
de um questioná
rio estruturado com questões fechadas e semi-abertas. A população correspondia a 75 profissionais
de nível médio
de enfermagem. Com os critérios
de inclusão: lotação no serviço por no mínimo três meses e estar em exercício no período
de coleta, a amostra resultou em 48 profissionais. A perda
de 36% dos sujeitos deu-se por não responder ao questioná
rio, afastamento, recém-lotação no serviço, férias e licença-maternidade que corresponderam aos critérios
de exclusão. Os dados quantitativos foram tabulados e analisados pela estatística descritiva com o auxílio
do software Statistical Package for the Social Scienses (SPSS) versão 20.0, aplicando-se o teste Qui-Quadrado e Exato

▼ This study is a concept analysis of the health needs of people with disabilities, according to the
model of Walker and Avant. The general objective was to analyze the concept of health needs
of people with disabilities using the Walker and Avant model. The specific objectives were: to
identify and synthesize the concept of health needs of people with disabilities through an
integrative review (IR); identify the attributes, antecedents, consequences and empirical
references of the concept of health needs of people with disabilities; elaborate a model case, a
case-related and a contrary case of the concept of health needs of people with disabilities. The
eight steps proposed by the Walker and Avant model were followed, namely: concept selection,
conceptual analysis objectives, identification of possible uses of the concept, determination of
the search criteria in the literature; concept identification; definition of the objective of the
analysis; verification of the uses of the concept; identification of defining attributes; example
of a model case; determination of additional cases; definition of the antecedent and consequent
terms to the concept; and determination of empirical references. For this study, the concept of
health needs of people with disabilities was selected, aiming to identify the main characteristics
of these needs and whether they are applied to all people with any type of disability or can be
specific to each group. A guideline protocol for an integrative review was then prepared. Data
collection was carried out in the following databases: PUBMED, SCOPUS and Cumulative
Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), accessed through the Capes Journals
Portal, using descriptors indexed in the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH); and the Latin
American Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online
(SCIELO) databases, accessed through the Virtual Health Library (VHL) with Descriptors in
Health Sciences (DeCS). For data analysis and definition of attributes, antecedents and
consequents of the concept, the concept map was used as a strategy of apprehension, which had
as central concept - the health needs of people with disabilities. The use of the concept of the
need for health of people with disabilities presented two training poles, the first one, the
understanding about health needs, and the second, the understanding of who are disabled
people. The most frequent antecedents were strongly associated with the limitations of
disability, social vulnerabilities and weaknesses, lack of accessibility and disarticulation of
health services. The defining attributes identified were the needs of health services and
psychosocial assistance, needs for autonomy and social participation; need for good living
conditions and specialized technology / equipment needs. As a consequence of this concept,
health impairment was predominantly found; social isolation and feelings of social devaluation

▼ Introduction: Nursing professionals working in the emergency and emergency hospital network are subjected to precarious working conditions in an unhealthy and challenging environment, putting at risk physical and mental health. Objective: To analyze the prevalence and factors associated with suicidal ideation, predisposition to depression, and job satisfaction with sociodemographic, occupational and suicide risk factors among nursing professionals from the emergency and emergency sectors of regional hospitals in
Rio Grande From north. Method: A cross-sectional study involving 56 nurses and 91 nursing technicians (n = 147) from the Public Hospitals of the Network of Emergency and Emergency Care of the II, IV and VII URSAP / RN. Data collection took place from January to November 2017, using four instruments: Socio-demographic, Occupational Characterization and Risk Factors for Suicide, Beck Depression Inventory, Beck Suicidal Ideation Scale, Satisfaction Scale in the Work by Martins. Data were entered in a Microsoft Excel® v.2016 worksheet and checked by double entry. Descriptive analysis, univariate analysis and multivariate analysis. The software SPSS v.20 and Package R v.2.7.1 were used. The level of significance was 5%. The research project was approved by CEP / UFRN under Opinion No. 1,877,910 of December 21, 2016 and CAAE: 62824216.6.0000.5537. Results: Suicidal Ideation (IS) was identified in 4.8% (n = 7) of the participants, and depressive states - minimum: 86.4% (n = 124), mild: 12.2% (= 18), moderate: 1.4% (n = 2). Mean overall satisfaction at work: 85.7% (n = 126) indifferent, 10.9% (n = 16) satisfied, 2% (n = 3) dissatisfied and 14% (n = 2) very dissatisfied. There was a statistically significant relationship between: IS and the variables sexual orientation (p = 0.006), low self-esteem (p-value = 0.010) and depressive states (p = 0.012). Depressive states and last training on emergency situations (p = 0.041), evaluation of family relationship (p = 0.012), self report of low self-esteem (p = <0001) and hopelessness (p = 0.001); Average overall job satisfaction with average length of service in the emergency and emergency area (p = 0.016), living with the family (p = 0.015) and having a family member who attempted suicide (p = 0.024). The adjusted models showed that heterosexuals were 0.60 less likely to develop suicidal ideation when compared to homosexuals (95% CI -0.44-0.83). Those with low self-esteem had 1.17 higher odds of developing IS (95% CI -1.02 - 1.34). Individuals with a poor family relationship (95% CI -3.87-12.30) and low self-esteem (CI 95% -2.07-10.57) were more likely to present mild / moderate depressive status, 1.35 and 4, 76 respectively. Conclusion: It is evidenced that the nursing professionals of this study presented processes of mental illness in the context of the hospital emergency and emergency service. ▼ Considering the high prevalence of leprosy in Brazil, as well as the incapacitating potential of
such disease even after therapy is concluded, it is assumed that those who have been
discharged from leprosy may present physical disabilities and limitations regarding
performance of activities and social participation. Such impairments might directly impact in
one`s quality of life. In this perspective, it is questioned: what is the level of these physical
and social limitations in individuals who were discharged from leprosy, and how can it be
associated with quality of life? Hypothesis 0 (H0): There is no association between the degree
of physical disability, activity limitation and social participation with the quality of life of
individuals who were discharged from leprosy; H1: There is an association between the
degree of physical incapacity, activity limitation and social participation with the quality of
life of individuals who were discharged from leprosy. The main goal of the present study is to
evaluate the association between the degree of physical disability, activity limitation and
social participation with QOL of individuals who were discharged from leprosy. This is an
analytical, cross-sectional, quantitative approach developed in the city of Natal / RN. The
population was comprised by 214 cases of leprosy reported in Natal from the years 2011 to
2015. The sample of 90 users was calculated and selected by draw and followed the eligibility
criteria. Five instruments were defined for data collection: form of clinical and social
characterization, guidelines of dermato-neurological exam, SALSA scale, Scale of
Participation and the WHOQoL-bref. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to evaluate the
distribution of the normality of the collected data, choosing to work with non-parametric tests.
The research project was submitted to Plataforma Brasil and approved by the Research Ethics
Committee, number 2,054,508 and CAAE 64874316.3.0000.5537. There was a predominance
of female individuals (61.1%), housewives, up to 59 years old (62.2%), living with a partner
(61.1), non-white (55.6%), educational level up to elementary school (45.6%) and family
income around R $ 1,800.00. In the treatment and clinical characterization, a prevalence of
new cases (87.8%) was detected by referral (90.0%) in the specialized reference center
(97.8%), classified as tuberculoid (53.3% %), negative bacilloscopy (63.3%) and lack of any
degree of physical disability at the beginning of treatment (53.3%). It is worth mentioning the
return of discharge of medication. The presence of some degree of physical incapacity,
activity limitation, and restriction of social participation was more frequent in multibacillary
cases. When it comes to quality of life, paucibacillary cases present better scores when
compared to multibacillary patients, with statistical significance for general quality of life(p =

▼ Introduction: the gestational period during the deprivation of liberty in the prison
system, as well as lactation, are delicate, complex and marginalized processes,
undermining the best experience of motherhood. The experience of the gestational
period in the prison environment enables interactions that rework the senses and
symbolic world of these women. Objective: To analyze the social representations of
the maternity of pregnant and lactating women who experienced pregnancy deprived
of liberty in the prison system. Method: This is a qualitative study, anchored in the
assumptions of the Theoretical Paradigm of Social Representations in the structural
strand, realized with 42 pregnant and lactating women who experienced pregnancy
deprived of liberty in the prison system of the state of
Rio Grande do Norte, between
May and September 2019. For data collection, we used a research instrument
consisting of a sociodemographic questionnaire, a semi-directed interview using the
free word evocation technique, associated with the substitution and
decontextualization model (mute zone), with the inducing term “being a mother in
prison” and themed storytelling. Data were analyzed by prototypic processing (fourbox table) for each matrix, for which intermediate frequencies (± 8.37 matrix 1 and ±
8.10 matrix 2) and mean evocation orders (matrix 1: ±3,08; matrix 2: ±3,01) were
automatically calculated according to the requirements. Thus, they composed the
central nuclei, the peripheries and the contrast zones. The words composition and cooccurrence test (similarity analysis) were also performed. The analytical processing
was carried out using the software Interface

les Analyses Multidimensionnelles
de Textes et
de Questionnaires (IRAMUTEQ),
version 7 alpha 2. A research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the
Federal University
do Rio Grande do Norte: 08005219.7.0000.5537. Results: the
participants were mostly young people between 18 and 39 years old (90.5%; n = 38)
and were single (50.0%; n = 21), 61.9% (n = 26) reported two or more pregnancies,
and 47.6% (n = 20) reported one or more abortions. In the prototypic analysis, it was
found that the term inductor resulted in 420 evocations and 133 distinct words. After
categorization and lemmatization, the number of different words evoked by women
were 84 between matrices 1 and 2. Excluding the evocations with frequency less than
three, resulted in 31.15% use. In matrix 1, the possible representation of being a
mother in prison crystallized, principally and semantically, by the terms: separation (f
= 27; OME: 2.9), sadness (f = 18; OME: 2.3), horrible (f = 16). ; OME: 2.1), pain (f =
12; OME: 2.8). In the substitution and decontextualization zone (matrix 2), the
representations were objectified by the terms separation (f = 18; OME: 3), sadness (f
= 13; OME: 2.5), fear (f = 11; OME: 2.2), horrible (f = 10; OME: 1.5). Thus, the only

▼ The objective of this study was to analyze the nurse's approach to children and adolescents
in situations of violence in the three levels of health care based on the line of care for children
and adolescents in situations of violence. Analytical study with qualitative approach,
conducted in the city of Campina
Grande, Paraíba, in primary, secondary and tertiary health
care services that assist children and adolescents in situations of violence. Participated in the
study 76 nurses distributed: in primary care, working in the Family Health Strategy; in
secondary care, in a municipal child and adolescent care hospital in the reception, red room
and pediatric ward sectors; in tertiary care, the nurses of the reception, red room, pediatric
observation, pediatric ward and pediatric intensive care unit of a referral trauma hospital.
Data were collected from January to March 2018 using a sociodemographic form and semistructured interviews recorded and transcribed. The collected data were analyzed by the
IRAMUTEQ software through Descending Hierarchical Classification, Similitude Analysis
and Word Cloud. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal
University of
Rio Grande do Norte with opinion no. 2,456,493. In Primary Care, from the
lexicographic analysis classes, five categories were obtained: Category I (Class 1) - Living
and identification by the nurse of situations of violence with children and adolescents;
Category II (Class 4) -Family context and violence; Category 3 (Class 5) - Health promotion
actions by nurses; Category IV (Class 3) - Multidisciplinary team and services of the care
network as support for the approach of the nurse; Category V (Class 2) -Capacitation and
performance of the nurse facing the victim of violence. In Secondary Care emerged five
categories defined as: Category I (Class 1) - Conducts directed to children and adolescents
victims of violence in the service of medium complexity; Category II (Class 4) -Scope of
medium complexity and actions of the nurse; Category III (Class 5) -Capacitation and the
nurse's way of dealing with victims of violence; Category IV (Class 3) -Nurse's perception
of the family context and the victim; Category V (Class 2) -Identification of violence against
children and adolescents by nurses through nursing consultation; and for Tertiary Care the

concomitantly arise undesirable feelings, which can trigger mental illness. Assuming that selfesteem and the use of alcohol and other substances may be associated with alterations in the
quality of life of people with AIDS, the following hypotheses are proposed: H1 - There is an
association of self-esteem, the use of alcohol, tobacco and other substances. quality of life of
people with HIV / AIDS accompanied by the Specialized Assistance Service. H0 –There is no
association between self-esteem, use of alcohol, tobacco and other quality-of-life substances
in people with HIV / AIDS accompanied by the Specialized Assistance Service. The objective
of this study was to evaluate the association of self-esteem, the use of alcohol, tobacco and
other substances with quality of life of people with HIV / AIDS accompanied by the
Specialized Assistance Service, in Parnamirim / RN-BR. This is an analytical study, crosssectional design and quantitative approach to treatment and data analysis, which aims to
identify aspects related to quality of life, self-esteem and use of alcohol and other substances
by people living with AIDS. The accessibility sample consisted of 150 people registered with
Specialized Assistance Services. In the data collection process, four specific instruments were
used, namely: 1. Questionnaire with sociodemographic characterization; 2. Medical Outcomes
Study 36 instrument - item Short Form (SF-36); 3. Rozemberg Self-Esteem Scale; 4. Alcohol,
Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test Questionnaire (ASSIST). Data obtained
from the four instruments were initially entered in an Excel spreadsheet, version 2016, with a
check for possible typing errors. These data were later exported to the Statistical Package for
Social Science (SPSS), version 21.0. Descriptive analyzes were performed with absolute and
relative frequencies of nominal variables, and minimum, maximum, mean (SD) and median
scores of scalar variables. To assess the reliability of the SF-36 questionnaire and Rosemberg
Self-Esteem Scale instruments, internal consistency analysis was performed using the
Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The nonparametric association tests (Chi-square and Fisher's
exact tests, Mann Whitney U test and Friedman's test) and correlation (Spearman's correlation
test) were chosen and the p <0 level was adopted. 05 of statistical significance. All ethical

▼ This study arose from an interest in knowing the reality of mental health care in
Rio Grande
do Norte (RN) on the advances and challenges in the intersectoral agreements paths and
consolidation of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) from the state. Considering
problematic and concerns were defined as objectives: Identify the knowledge of managers of
Rio Grande do Norte on the National Mental Health Policy (PNSM) in the RN State; Describe
the activities developed by health professionals in the individual service offered in the CAPS
from RN; Understanding the relationship of managers’ knowledge on national mental health
policy in professionals’ practice working in the the CAPS from the countryside. It is a
descriptive study with a quantitative and qualitative approach, carried out in 30 CAPS from
RN’s countryside, where 183 professionals answered a structured questionnaire with closed
questions about the activities they
do in individual care; and 19 mental health coordinators of
municipalities and the state coordinator of RAPS were interviewed about their knowledge on
the Mental Health Policy. Data were collected after approval by the Research Ethics
Committee of the Federal University of
Rio Grande do Norte, with the number 508.430
CAAE: 25851913.7.0000.5537 from August through October of 2014 in 26 municipalities
with CAPS from the state. Quantitative data were tabulated and analyzed using a descriptive
statistics aided by the software Statistical Package for the Social Scienses (SPSS) version
20.0. The qualitative data were prepared in a corpus and analyzed through software Analyse
Lexicale par Contexte d’um Ensemble

de Texte (ALCESTE) that allow to
perform textual statistical analysis and categorization from their comments, submitted to
Bardin content analysis. Five categories were generated approaching the managers’
knowledge, namely: Back to society: leadership and users’ role and autonomy; The gap
between policy and practice; Barriers that affect the service; Structuring the Psychosocial
Care Network; Multidisciplinary team: attribuitios and activities. The CAPS professionals’
ages ranged from 20 to 58 years, prevailing females, with 76.5% of the total, the majority
were social workers (16.8%), psychologists (15.3%), nurses (14.8%) and nursing technicians
(14.8%). The results showed precariousness in care associated with physical workload regard
to high workload and low wages of the CAPS professionals' and, also, it was possible to
observe a large involvement of professionals in care delivery, despite the difficulties
encountered in services. It was found little knowledge in managers regarding the National
Mental Health Policy having as causes of this reality the poor education and training of these
professionals. The responses of professionals working in care reveals strong consistency with

▼ In the Brazilian network of psychosocial care, health professionals are important actors in the
process of transformation of mental health public policies among various services. In the
reality of psychiatric hospitals, one should understand the need to expand the debate about the
current context of practices developed. This study aimed at analyzing the process of
psychiatric reform and the mental health policy in the State of
Rio Grande do Norte (RN)
from the profiles and practices of higher-level professionals in two psychiatric hospitals. This
is a cross-sectional and descriptive research, with quantitative and qualitative data, conducted
in two psychiatric hospitals of RN. The universe of the target population was 95
professionals, taking into account the margin of error of 8%, non-response rate and the
inclusion criteria: holding effective link with the institution by means of approval in public
examination for, at least, six months, being state or municipal servant; having a minimum
weekly workload of 20 hours in service; participating in care and/or activities with patients
and families in a direct way. The final sample consisted of 60 professionals. The tool for data
collection was a questionnaire with closed and semi-open questions about socioeconomic
profile, and mental health policies, practices and training. Quantitative data were tabulated in
the statistical software SPSS, and simple and bivariate statistics, chi-square type, was used for
analysis by adopting the significance level with the value p<0,05. In order to analyze data, the
content analysis of Bardin was used. The qualitative findings obtained with the semi-open
questions in Analyse Lexicale par Context d'un Ensemble
de Segments
de Texte (ALCESTE)
were grouped into four thematic axes: Professional action in mental health; Mental health
training; Scenarios of psychiatric reform and psychiatric hospitals; Mental health policies and
practices: challenges for professionals in hospitals. The profile of professionals has revealed
the majority of women (89,7%), nurses (36,7%), aged 50-59 years (42,9%), weekly workload
of 40 hours (52,4% ), time of completion of graduation from six to 15 years (57%), and
21,4% reported to have specialization in mental health. Regarding the practices developed in
individual care, it was found an association between those who
do not build or partially
conducts the therapeutic project and those who conduct care related to observation and
annotation. In family care, it was obtained care consultation during crisis; and, in group care,
recreational activities. In the analysis of thematic axes, it was noted that, despite changes

integrity, bodily changes and functional limitations related to the disability state. It was aimed
to analyze the social
representation, stress level and experiences of fishermen victims of
spinal cord injury caused by diving accident in the Northern beaches of Brazil. It is a
descriptive
-
exploratory study with quantitative, qualitative and representational data
developed i
n fishermen’s villages in nine beaches of Northern shore/RN, between October
2013 to August 2014, after the approval of the Ethics Committee in Research of the

.5537. The sample was composed by 44 fishermen with spinal cord injury,
defined from inclusion and exclusion criteria of the participants. It was used as instrument to
collect the data a semi structured interview. Quantitative data was analyzed by descrip
tive
statistics, showing the data through table, boxes and graphics by Microsoft Excel. Data from
interviews were submitted to the software called Analyse Lexicale par Contexte d’un
Ensemble
de Segments
de Texte (ALCESTE) using the analysis of the Social R
epresentation
Theory and Center Core Theory. It is shown the outcomes of the research through four
articles, following the normative recommendations of the journals. Participants of the study
were all male, age mean 49,6 years, elementary school (68,2%), m
arried (77,3%); paraplegia
sequel (50,0%). Most of them showed stress (75,0%), almost in the exhaustion stage (33,3%),
prevalent insomnia symptoms (95,5%) in the last hours; hypertension (97,7%) in the last
week and sexual troubles (95,5%) in the last mont
h). Decompressive illness caused spinal
cord injury (57,1%), occurred prevalently in low summer (75,0%), northern shore (96,4%),
having as main consequences the paresthesia and pain in the upper and lower limbs (67,9%),
followed by death (25,0%). Interview

sectional study conducted in five CAPS in Campina
Grande city. The study sample consisted
of five coordinators, 42 graduate professional

level (technical and auxiliary nurses,
and caregivers), and the medical records pertaining to 413 users followed up. Data were
collected using validated questionnaires (CAPSUL

rating CAPS in southern Brazil) and

05.30.2014. Results: From the structure analysis were identified contextual factors that
influenced the work process of CAPS professionals, such as: deficiencies with regard to

uman resources; forms of health professionals employment and qualifications; temporary
contract existence. As to process dimension, it was found that the home visits performance by
health professionals shows to be ineffective, given its insufficiency and i
rregularity, which
can be explained by the high demand, reduced staff and transportation lack. It was low
coverage of items inherent to Therapeutic Individual Project, as the income generation
program, insertion at work and home visit. The reference and co

not satisfactorily organized. There was statistically significant difference for the diagnosis,
with a predominance of mood disorders related to stress among women and those related to

▼ The reformist movements in the field of mental health have pointed battle flags,
among which the prioritization of production of mental health care out of the asylum
environment should be highlighted, aiming the reduction of psychiatric beds, greater
control over the hospitalization, family co-participation and the rescue of the
citizenship of the social players involved. With the progressive reduction of asylum
beds, associated with a lot of structural problems in the health services, the
occurrence of crises outside the hospital environment has been increasingly
frequent, thus giving the family an important therapeutic role. In face of this scenario,
there is an urgent need to understand the social construction of the care for
psychiatric emergencies, identifying the meanings assigned by family members to
their constituent aspects. This study seeks to answer the following research question:
what are the social representations of family members about the care of psychiatric
emergencies in the city of Mossoró,
Rio Grande do Norte? Therefore, the aim is to
analyze the social representations of family members about the care of psychiatric
emergencies in the city of Mossoró,
Rio Grande do Norte. This is an exploratory and
descriptive study, with a mixed approach, making use of multimethods: for collection,
the semi-structured interview and the Technique of Free Association of Words; for
data analysis, the Thematic Analysis of Bardin and its steps was used, with the
informational support of the softwares ALCESTE (Analyse Lexicale par Contexte d'un
Ensemble
de Segments
de Texte) and Iramuteq (Interface
de R pour les Analyses
Multidimensionnelles
de Textes et
de Questionnaires); and the theoretical support of
social representations. The study participants totaled 72, and they were selected
from the following criteria: older than18 years, with degree of kinship with users
suffering from some mental and behavioral disorder, and who have already
witnessed a situation of crisis, rescued by the SAMU or other means and taken to the
psychiatric hospital or general emergency room. Preliminary results point out:
1.Previous note of the research project with the aim to disseminate it in the scientific
community and ensure the intellectual property of the work; 2.The contextual analysis
of the care for emergencies in the study place. Reflection about the phenomenon
provide a name to the care for the psychiatric emergencies, which is called
immediate context; the technical and operational aspects that influence the care, as a
specific/ general context; and mental health policies in Brazil are identified as
metacontext; 3. The systematic review from randomized clinical trials in the
databases PubMed, COCHRANE, LILACS, SciELO and SCIRUS, with the use of the
descriptors: ‘Physical restraint’, ‘Psychiatric emergency services’, ‘Restraint’,
‘Physical and Emergency Services’, ‘Psychiatric’. Only one work met the search

The complexity surrounding a blood donation includes temporary disabilities, with emphasis on anemia; Increasing the maximum age for a blood donation from 67 to 69 years and the social representations of loyal donors - considering that the Theory of Social Representations is about transforming something unknown into something known and family. Three instruments were used to collect the data: a review of the area literature for concept analysis; Registration worksheet for collecting secondary data in electronic medical records; Questionnaire with voice recording of the participants to collect the primary data from guiding questions. It was based on the understanding that these instruments are complementary to each other, allowing the triangulation of the information necessary to carry out the study. The data collected by the questionnaire were submitted to ALCESTE and thematic analysis in light of the social representations and the central core theory. Results: They were discussed in four Article: Article I – “Loyal blood donor: a conceptual analysis”, which demonstrates the lack of a consensual concept about what is a "loyal blood donor" or metrics to measure and extend it in a consistent, universal, equitable and integral manner; Article II – “Anemia as a temporary unfitness factor for blood donation”, in which a quantitative cross-sectional study with data collected in the Clinical Triage module of the Hemote Plus® software is carried out. The results demonstrate that anemia is the most prevalent cause of disability, impairing the health of Population and blood stocks in hemotherapy services; Article III – “Elderly blood donor: necessary and current contribution”, refers to a cross-sectional, descriptive study performed with 86 elderly people, who donated to meet the need of a patient. ▼ Introduction: Millions of suicides and parasuicides occur all over the world, every
year, which are issues recognized as a Public Health priority. In the last decade,
international researches have been demonstrating associations among psychological
and social aspects in the suicidal behavior of transgender people. In Brazil, there are
no researches that have tracked and evaluated the aspects associated to the Suicide
Ideation (SI) among these people. Objective: To analyze the association among
Suicidal Ideation and the aspects related to the issues: sociodemographic; healthillness;
depression; violence and suicidal behavior in transgender
people Method: This research presents a quantitative approach, descriptive-analytical
and transversal type; which was developed with the collaboration of four Non-
Governmental Organizations (NGOs) concerning the Civil Rights of Transvestite and
Transsexual People in the State of
Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. This population was
constituted by 58 individuals. Data collection occurred between November, 2015 and
June, 2016. Three specific instruments have been used: (1) Beck’s Suicidal Ideation
Scale; (2) Beck Depression Inventory; and (3) a Questionnaire involving
sociodemographic, health-illness, violence and suicide information behavior. The
collected data were organized and stored in a database built in the software Microsoft
Office Excel®version 2016, with double entry; these data were then imported into the
software R version 3.3.1 to provide tests realization. Regarding the descriptive
analysis, the following criteria were considered: relative and absolute frequency and
measures of central and dispersion tendency. In order to verify the association among
the variables, Pearson's Chi-Square Test of Independence was used, and when the
prerequisites weren’t met, Fisher's Exact Test was applied instead. It was adopted a
5% significance level. The study was authorized by the collaborative NGOs, approved
by the Research Ethics Committee, and all participants signed a Free Informed Term
of Consent. Results: SI was detected in 41,38% of the participants, among them
prevailed the following characteristics: transsexual gender identity (62,07%); young
individuals – age range varying from 18 to 29 years old (68,97%); singles (81,03%);
educational level – high school or lower (77,59%); black or brown race (68,97%); under
prostitution activities (29,31%) or without any occupation (17,24%); and with a monthly
income up to the Brazilian minimum wage (44,83%).It was verified an association,
statistically significant, regarding the presence of SI and the following variables: depression levels (p=0,002); school violence (p=0,012); expulsion from the family
environment due to the gender identity (p=0,020); suicide attempts background
(p=0,008): and dying wishing intensity during the last suicide attempt (p=0,028). SI was
not associated to the sociodemographic aspects, neither to the health-illness

▼ The objective is to seek evidence of validity of the instrument for the assessment of needs in health for people with physical disabilities, auditory and/or visual. This is a methodological study for development, content validation, validation semantics and appearance of an instrument of evaluative dimension. The process of construction and validation follows the precepts of Pasquali, following the steps of the polo theoretician, through two phases: 1) Identification of the settings pane and the operational construct and preparation of items that comprised the instrument called a tool for evaluation of health needs of people with physical disabilities, Auditory and Visual (IANC-PcDFAV), through integrative literature review performed in the first quarter of 2015 in databases CINAHL, MEDLINE, LILACS and SCOPUS; experience of researchers; and in the taxonomy of Health Needs Of Matsumoto and Cecílio; 2) The theoretical analysis of the items held in the period from September 2015 to May 2016, through two steps. Step 1 - Validation of content through Delphi Technique. In this step, we search through the Lattes platform, to identify health care professionals with expertise who acted as judges of the instrument. The sample consisted of 33 experts in Delphi 1 and 18 for Delphi 2. For data collection submitted via online, the form of specialists. The analysis by adopting the Content Validity Index (CVI) > 0.80 and Cronbach's alpha > 0.80. The Mann-Whitney test was used to investigate the differences between phases Delphi 1 and 2 with p > 0.05. Step 2 - Validation semantics and appearance we used random non-probabilistic by convenience with eight PWD, being two with physical disabilities, four with hearing disabilities and two with visual disabilities enrolled in three institutions to support the PWD in Mossoro/RN. There were applied three instruments: the ians-PcDFAV, the questionnaire DISABKIDS® - overall impression, and the questionnaire DISABKIDS® - specific prints. The analysis was based on descriptive statistics. They considered themselves the principles of Resolution 466/2012. In the process of validation of the content there was established in the first Delphi, it showed that five items of the scale demographic data and two items of the scale living conditions did not reach the index of content validity. The remaining items were agreed, with CVI ranging from 0.82 to 1. In the second round, once accepted the suggestions of the experts, all items assessed have achieved excellence. It showed significant differences in the dimensions of demographic data, living conditions and in domain 1. With respect to the average requirements for evaluation, all items obtained medium best in the second evaluation, with statistical significance (p= 0.026) in requirement usefulness/appropriateness and general assessment of the instrument (p= 0.031). de Saúde SUS) presupposes a human-resources policy which prepares professionals of health to guide
the services and sanitary practices. The nurse, a member of health staff, takes over an important role in implementation of principles and standards of SUS, being its professional
formation necessary to labor organization in this purpose. In this way this study objectifies to analyse the process of formation of the male nurse in the Politic-Pedagogical Project (Projeto Político-Pedagógico PPP) in the perception of learning and teaching of the Faculty of nursing FAEN of the University of The
Rio Grande do Norte State UERN. It treats about a descriptive-exploratory study with qualitative and quantitative approach carried out with learning and teaching of the graduation nursing course. In the field research carried out between the months of november, 2006 and february, 2007, were used like instruments the documental research below PPP´s, structured interview directed to the learning and the closed questionnaire applied to the students of eighth and ninth semesters of graduation course. The results of data about the questionnaires elaborated according to National Curricular Patters (Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais DCN) and the Instrument of Evaluation Course of Graduation MEC were organized according to six lists about the profile of the learning and teaching that participate of the research; of the didactical-pedagogical organization and PPP´s objectives to the just-graduates person to the didactical-pedagogical curriculum organization. For considering the interviews it was adopted thematic analysis of content discribed in lexical analysis by informatical program ALCESTE which provided the organization of the material in five categories: daily problems of SUS consolidation versus nurse formation, dichotomies about FAEN´s nursing course of curriculum versus principles of integralization of graduating process, the just-graduated one from FAEN and its professional insertion united to SUS politic-pedagogical project and the concern about the overcoming of dichotomies of graduation process abilities and necessary competences to the SUS performing nurse. The analysis of informations deriving from documental performance and field research resulted on
the verification that, in spite of good intentions, the implementation strategies showed themselves fragile to cope with the rendering of expressed ideal on PPP. There is still a great gap between what´s thought as innovating graduating process and what´s being really implemented

▼ Comprehending social representations of users relatives of Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS) from Natal-RN, about their participation in the activities of these services, was the
purpose of this study. The research instrument used was a semi-structured interview, led to 28 relatives of users of East and West CAPS II, East and North CAPS-ad, involved in the Relative Therapeutic Group, in Relative Meeting, in the Assembly of Users, Technicians and Relatives, according to the therapeutic schedule of each health services, between August to November 2007. Data obtained in family and users identification were characterized with the aid of charts and boards in absolute and/or percentage values. The discursive material from the guide from interviews was submitted to the informational resource ALCESTE (Analyse
Lexicale par Contexte d'un Ensemble of Segments of Texte), and analyzed on the basis of the Theory of Social Representations and Central Nucleus Theory. Most of the relatives were women, married, aged over 50 years, who participated for more than two years in CAPS activities, and a coexistence of more than 11 years with the user. From the classification system of ALCESTE were selected categories, identified by: Category 1, Treatment
Improvements and Expectations; Category 2, Living User Before and After; Category 3, Activities Relevance, Contradictions and Suggestions; Category 4, Guidelines –
Psychopharmacology and Medicalization; Category 5, Family Participation and Activities; and Category 6, Therapeutic Conditions Thanks, Tips and Vulnerability. The social
representation of the family exists in the desire for change, identifying that we need to promote change by the continuity of therapeutic activities and overcome the detected inconsistencies, targeted by strengthening and by the stability of improvements in living and health conditions of users, experienced in CAPS treatment. The central nucleus had corresponded to positive changes in health and living conditions of users, and the peripheral
elements were constituted by family conducts before and during treatment, and the expectations of changes in activities, especially in workshops. Despite this family

▼ The Community Therapy (CT) is in a practice of therapeutic effect and may also be considered as a technology takes care of the therapeutic procedure group, whose purpose is to promote health, prevent illness, developed within primary care in mental health. In this study we sought to understand the social representations of health professionals who work with the Community Therapy, on use of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) in the city of Joao Pessoa. This is a field research with a qualitative view Moscovician Theory of Social Representations, held with seven professionals of the FHS, therapists of Community Health District II. The empirical data were obtained by carrying out two thematic therapies in April 2009, which were wheeled CT. It was used as a technique for analyzing the
collective subject discourse, and the data presented through graphs, charts, maps, pictures and graphics and arranged in three stages: Subjects of the study, characterizing the study
participants; Social Representations of Therapist Community presenting and discussing the social representations of therapists community studied on CT, and Consequences of
Community Therapy at the Family Health Strategy, discussing the meanings attributed by the study participants about changes in FHS. Meanings were attributed to the CT by the
therapists studied originated from the speeches, songs, drawings and constructed, and that presented by schematic illustration show the relation between the representations: life,
listening, faith / light, change, transformation. The web, symbol of CT, appeared on the images constructed by the representatives of the study and represents the formation of
bonds that allows the construction of social support networks that strengthen relationships among community. In the study, proved by professionals who have the meanings about the
changes in the work process from the introduction of CT, and shown that the change took place within a more welcoming attitude on the part of professionals, the relationship between Team members had no significant changes, explained by the low compliance of team members to the CT in relation to the user front, the bond was strengthened, and this involved strengthening the role of the therapist community. It is recognized, thereby transforming the character of CT in building links with users, requiring, however, that the team is viewed as offering therapeutic services, not the professional therapist. Therefore, the CT for being a new phenomenon in health services and community belonging, it fits like a novelty which affects the construction of a representation dispute. Still, can
contribute to the reorganization of mental health care in line with the new model of mental health care advocated by the Psychiatric Reform.

▼ Tuberculosis is considered one of the most ancient human diseases, cases were registered 3900 years before Christ, and it is currently regarded as a serious public health problem in the
world due to several factors such as income mismanagement, precarious standard of life and some sort of prejudice comprised by the word tuberculosis. Taking this into consideration, it
was developed a descriptive and exploratory study aiming at analyzing the social representations of tuberculosis made by its patient from the Unidades
de Saúde da Família (Family Health Units a public health program) in Campina
Grande City PB, in relation to the decentralization of the policies that administrate the disease. It was interviewed 34 tuberculosis patient that were being treated from 2007 to 2008. The age group of the
interviewees varied from 10 to 60 years old, but most of them were between 36 and 60 years old (58,8%, n=20), some were young adult and adult (21 35 years old), with 11 (32,3%)
respondents, and, less frequent, children and teenagers (11 20 years old), with 03 (8,8%) participants. Data was collected through semi-structured interview. The questions that guided
the research were elaborated based on the operational recommendations of DOTS strategy; that is: access to laboratory examinations; medication guarantee; directly observed treatment. Besides that, the experiences of the patient were considered in their relation with the family
and the different social groups. The analysis of the discursive material was submitted to the Analyse Lexicale par Context d un Ensemble

Data interpretation showed five categories for the social representations of the tuberculosis patient that participated in DOTS strategy: 1) the accessibility of the health assistance service; 2) the patient perspective of the disease; 3) the change in the operation of the productive life;
4) the signals and symptoms of the tuberculosis disease; 5) the rearrangement and mechanisms used to face the disease. The Central Nucleus reveals that tuberculosis is a transmissible disease that can be prevented by people through educational practices, health promotion, active search for symptomatic respiratory and control of the carriers communication; these mechanisms should be incorporated to the routine of all participants of the family health groups. The Intermediate Elements, based on quotidian life, as well as the individual experiences of the tuberculosis patient, reveals prejudiced attitude and beliefs that lead to isolation and restriction of interpersonal relationship. Peripheral Elements were constituted by themes that showed the patient feelings of indignation because of the social barriers they had to face in the Family Health Units during the treatment. ▼ We believe that the dissatisfaction arising from the lack of belief in the possibilities of change in the workplace, which cause difficulties to achieve professional results in the professional psychological distress that currently fits into the context of mental health. This is a qualitative, descriptive and representational research aiming to discover how the professional nurses represent the very psychological distress from work in the hospital environment. Aided and supported by specific objectives of identifying factors that generates this suffering and strategies for defense and confronting these professionals in the hospital. 22 nurses participated in this research, officials of the University Hospital Onofre Lopes, located in the city of Natal / RN, with length of service in the institution more than one year and less than five, and they accepted, by signing the Term of Free and Informed Consent, participate in the study. We use plurimethodological approach: a questionnaire, a semi-structured interview and the design-story with a theme adapted from Trinca with the support of the Theory of Social Representations and that nurses
do in their psychological distress of the Central Core. We reviewed the data from the results generated by the ALCESTE software, based on hierarchical categorization downward, leading seven classes used as categories: Work process: completeness vs. incompleteness; labor contradiction of the nurse; qualitative aspects of interpersonal relationships; hospital surveillance: Challenges, muteness and neglect; Expectations, conflicts and feelings in the work process; Leisure: the other side of the work process, and Suffering generating aspects of in the work process. We consider the analysis of quarters generated by the program, which SLQ houses in the central core of the representations; the SRQ and the DLQ the intermediaries elements and the DRQ the peripheral elements that nurses
do in their psychological distress. We analytically adequate results in the three belonging dimensions of social representations: the Subjectivity, the Intersubjectivity and Trans-subjectivity. We infer that the interpersonal relationship, the extra work, the deviation in the role of nurse show themself as the factors responsible for psychological distress of it. In that sense, the central core of SR of this profession is based on the level of trans-subjectivity and understood as a Social Representation controversy

▼ The Family Health Strategy (ESF) is emerging as a possible restructuring of services and new practices of intervention in health care; it requires skilled professionals to work with that framework. Within this purpose, we established the Education Programme for Work and Health (PET-Saúde), in order to integrate teaching and service activities, focusing on primary care. On this basis, the aim of this work is to apprehend the social representation of nurse, doctor and dentist (Project PET-Natal Health RN preceptors) on the ESF, while practice field of them. It is a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in 07 Family Health Units (USF) included in the PET-Saúde Natal (RN). The population was composed of 35 professional components of the primary care team with bachelor's degree of the USF linked to this project. The sample was composed of 05 nurses, 05 physicians and 05 dentists, for a total of 15 subjects. Data were collected through three instruments: the drawing-themed story, a semi-structured individual interviews and field diary. The data relating to the identification of the subjects were entered and tabulated by the Microsoft Excel software 2007 version. The drawing analysis and interpretation is given by the significance attributed to the resource chart from title and keywords assigned by the subjects, considering the ESF as an inductive term. The stories and interviews were transcribed and typed and then subjected to read/listen the material and a lexical analysis through Alceste. After this process, the discursive material was analyzed and discussed by theoretical and methodological feature of the Social Representations theory. The majority of health professionals were female, aged between 46 and 52 years old, married, income less than six minimum wage, time since graduation ranged from 22 to 29 years and working time in the ESF range from 02 to 11 years. From the classification system ALCESTE were selected categories identified by: Category 1 - ESF: relations and territory; Category 2 - Training and bond profile; Category 3 - Working process in the ESF; Category 4 - Articulation between teaching and service; Category 5 - Health care and disease prevention. The representational field construction, while a process, followed the logic of structural cores in existing categories. In this sense, it is clear that the ESF is an environment rich in diversity, experience and relationships with potential such as the relationship "very subject-subject" and the link established between professional-community, but also has some weaknesses such as poor working conditions, lack of popular participation and management support, thus difficulties in the achievement of teamwork. Being essential to that end, the teaching-service aimed at the formation of a new health professional able to work in the ESF. ▼ The psychiatric care and mental health are undergoing constant change over the History. The Brazilian Psychiatric Reform, which brings up the deinstitutionalization as a structuring in the restorative care process. The Reform has as one of the mainly substitutive services the Centers for Psychosocial Care (CAPS), which work from the Singular Therapeutic Project (PTS) in order to restore the autonomy and restore the dignity of users. The therapeutic workshop is some of the resources used and work several kinds of activities as: writing, handcraft, music, poetry, and so forth. This study set up to apprehend the social representations of helping of the music workshop carried out in the CAPS II east of Natal/RN, from the reports given by the participants of the workshop, using the focal group as technique. This is a descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach. A total of 16 users participated in four musical therapeutic workshops from April to May 2010. The study was approved by the Ethics and Research Committee of UFRN. The discursive material from the workshop was submitted to the informational resource of Analyse Lexicale par Contexte d um Ensemble

de Texte, ALCESTE, and analyzed based on the Theory of Representations and the Central Core Theory. The majority of subjects were men (62.5%), single (62.5%), aged 40-49 years (37.6%) and elementary school level (56.2 %). The reports were transcribed and submitted to the classification system of ALCESTE, which elected the following categories: Category 1 - Experience in the Word Family Sung, Category 2 - Musical Experiences and Approaches, and Category 3 - Feelings and emotions evoked by music. The representation of these individuals is anchored in the experience they have with the CAPS, lived and socialized by common sense, through this particular social group workshop objectified in music therapy as a therapeutic modality enjoyable. The central core
revealed the intrinsic relationship between users and the music, establishing a relationship of openness to use the same while its therapeutic use in workshops of substitute services for mental health. Peripherals elements issues are related to listen, share and experience music in the family. Intermediary Elements relate to the feelings and emotions evoked by music, given her close relationship with it. It was found in the study that music can be construed as an artifact of good therapeutic responsiveness to users, configuring it as an invigorating and enjoyable therapy, confirming the need for continuity of this activity, as well as its expansion into the service

▼ Brazilian health public assistance is going through two Reforms, Sanitary and Psychiatric,
and through these the assistance is guaranteed in the three levels: primary, secondary and
tertiary. Thus, mental health assistance should be offered since preventive cares until the
ones that demand larger technological apparatus. Programs like Health Community Agent's
Program (HCAP) and Family Health Strategy (FHS), besides increasing the services
coverage, have been making possible the system reorientation in the meaning of
integrality, universalization and equity. Thus, united intervention of mental health team
and FHS can offer several benefits to the population, providing assistance and follow-up to
patients with mental disorder. It was aimed to assess health community agents facing the
user of Family Health Strategy in depressive state. This quanti-qualitative study took place
in the municipal district of Abaiara-CE. Semi-structured interview was applied with health
community agents and Beck Depression Inventory with the users registered in Family
Health Strategy. It was verified that among the 64 users interviewed, 12.5% didn't present
symptoms of depression, 10.9% presented symptoms of light depression, 14.1% symptoms
of moderate depression and 62.5% symptoms of serious depression. For the 22 health
community agents interviewed, they all reported the existence of people with symptoms of
depression in their personal micro-areas, being difficult to work with them, once the FHS
team is not qualified to work with mental health problems. It was verified that the
Municipal district doesn't have specialized professionals, making difficult the routing and
treatment. Based on these results, it was concluded that in spite of the articulation of
mental health with FHS is necessary and benefactor to the population, it still doesn't exist,
worsening the situation, mainly in small Municipal districts, once they don't have mental
health services. Thus, the population is exposed and without follow-up, which allows the
identification of installed diseases and with gravity, like depression, because there are no
prevention and control activities. It is recommended, due the extreme need, the elaboration
and implantation of a mental health program in these municipal districts, articulated with
FHS

▼ In Brazil, the mental health network proposed by the Psychiatric Reform inserts the
intermediate and replacement services in the pursuit of alignment or resocialization of patients
with mental and behavioral disorder in the community. Was adopted, among other services,
the Center for Psychosocial Care, Home Therapy, Sheltered Home, Day Hospital and
psychiatric beds in general hospital. In this context, the State of
Rio Grande do Norte
implanted the Day Hospital Dr. Elger
Nunes (HDEN) in Natal / RN in 1996, linked to State
Department of Public Health. At HDEN happened a multi and interdisciplinary therapeutic
work, besides being the scene of disciplinary practices, and extension projects for graduate
courses in Higher Education Institutions in the city. However, with the process of
decentralization of local services, the hospital was terminated by an administrative state act in
2006, leaving damage to the activities provided to users, disciplinary practices and extension
activities. From this breakdown, the objective was to narrate the trajectory of HDEN through
a multidisciplinary team of professionals and teachers who used it as a field of disciplinary
practices. It is characterized as a documental and qualitative, backed in the technique of
thematic oral history, following the phases: authorization of the interviewee, interview
recording, transcription, textualization and transcreation of the material obtained. We used
documents, ordinances, general reports of activities, among others, plus interviews to fifteen
employees who used this service, being thirteen part of the multidisciplinary team of
professionals and two graduation professors of health care area, nursing and medicine. The
stories collected were organized according to the technique chosen, respecting its steps. In
preparing the body subjected to ALCESTE computer program, priority was given to the vital
tone for the formation of categories and classes elected by the program, structured in three
thematic areas. In the first axis, called Trajectory of HDEN, were recalled the beginning of its
activities, the steps of that time, their activities, and its actors - users, families, professionals,
and teaching practices. The second axis has dealt with the process of extinction of HDEN,
rescuing the feelings of employees, the main reasons given at the time and immediate postextinction
scenario. And the third axis revealed in an articulated form the situation of mental
health in Natal / RN, listing to the challenges and prospects for the psychosocial care, starting
from the trajectory of HDEN with emphasis on activities. Moreover, the trajectory of HDEN
provides recognition of the historical basis outlined in the constitution of the network of
substitute services present in the current scenario of psychosocial care in the city of Natal and
in RN.

▼ We aim to understand the social representations of man's aggressive behavior from the perspective of women in situations of domestic violence. This is a descriptive, exploratory and representational study, whose methodological approach falls into the qualitative category. We chose as a scenario for research, by the Reference Center for Citizen Women (CRMC), Natal / RN. The criteria for selection of participants were women who lived/live in situations of domestic violence, with affective or relationship bonding with the assailant, in psychological and emotional positions appropriated to the reality; that are being protected or assisted by the service listed above; whose aggressor is male. We adopted as data collection instruments: questionnaire, Drawing-Story (
DE) and a field diary. For analysis of textual data, we decided to use the ALCESTE software conjugated to editing analyze and initial reading. Were investigated 20 women victims of domestic violence, whose author of the attacks was the husband/partner. We identified, from the respondents, that 70% (n = 14) of men with aggressive behavior also had a family history of violence and fragile family relationships. About the physical and emotional condition of the assailant at the time of violence, 50% (n = 10) of these men, regardless the use of alcohol, had often quarrelsome and/or nervous behavior, impatient and unpredictable humor facing a setback, worry or annoyance. Regarding the nature of violence, we observed that women were victims of all types of violence, however, the psychological prevailed in 100% of cases. The corpus "Men" has three classes, whose focuses are, respectively: resignation, denounce and violence/aggression, being possible categorizing them as well: Category 1: The imprisonment of women; Category 2: Violence and its meanings; Category 3: Breaking the violent cycle. We show that the social representations of man s aggressive behavior, from the women in situations of violence, are anchored in the social roles of men in family and society, becoming a dominant model of masculinity. It is aimed, on one hand, from the reproduction of what is already known and/or experienced by male aggressors in the family, as repetitions of behavior. And on the other, present themselves as a state of illness, addiction or psychopathy

▼ This study aims to analyze and compare the opinion of professionals, managers and users about the mental health care in the Family Health Strategy (FHS). It is characterized as an Operations Research or Health System Research with a cross-sectional design and a descriptive quantitative nature. The study was developed from the application of the Opinion Measurement Scale allied to techniques of observation and structured interview in the city of Parnamirim / RN. The sample consists of 409 subjects, 209 professionals of the Family Health Strategy, 30 of the Oral Health Strategy, 19 of the Family Health Support Center, 24 directors of Basic Health Units, plus 68 users with mental disorders and 59 caregivers, respecting the ethical parameters of Resolution 196/96 of the National Health Council, trial registration number: CAAE 0003.0.051.000-11. Quantitative data were submitted to the Epi-info 3.5.2 for analysis. The network of mental health in Parnamirim involves the flow between the FHS, Psychosocial Care Centers, clinics and hospitals, having as main barriers the fragility of the referral and counter-referral system, of the municipal health conferences, of the FHS teams by the limitations in material and human resources as well as the population´s lack of acknowledge about the organization of the mental health network, issues that affect the integral attention. Even though the FHS professionals recognize the importance of their actions, they question their role in mental health care, experiencing difficulties in accessing psychiatric services (76.5%). Although most agree that the mentally ill is best treated in the family than in hospital (65.2%), the community health workers were the predominant category in the partial or total disagreement of this statement (40.8%), who is the professional in greater contact with the family. Nevertheless the caregivers miss the support of the FHS as the main focus of attention is on revenue control. The views of professionals, mental patients and caregivers converged in several statements, showing the main weaknesses to be focused by the mental health network of the city, as the perceptions that: (a) physical strength is needed to take care of mental patients for its tendency to aggression, requiring it to stay in the sanatorium for representing danger to society, (b) only a psychiatrist can help the person with emotional problems, (c) the user of alcohol and drugs does not necessarily develop mental illness, (d) the access barriers and doubts about the quality of psychiatric services, (e) caring of a mental health patient does not bring suffering to professionals. Therefore, the commitment to consensus building, monitoring and evaluation of the network are important mechanisms for an effective management system, reflecting in the importance of strengthening the health conferences and approximating different institutions. ▼ In the Brazilian network of psychosocial care, health professionals are important actors in the
process of transformation of mental health public policies among various services. In the
reality of psychiatric hospitals, one should understand the need to expand the debate about the
current context of practices developed. This study aimed at analyzing the process of
psychiatric reform and the mental health policy in the State of
Rio Grande do Norte (RN)
from the profiles and practices of higher-level professionals in two psychiatric hospitals. This
is a cross-sectional and descriptive research, with quantitative and qualitative data, conducted
in two psychiatric hospitals of RN. The universe of the target population was 95
professionals, taking into account the margin of error of 8%, non-response rate and the
inclusion criteria: holding effective link with the institution by means of approval in public
examination for, at least, six months, being state or municipal servant; having a minimum
weekly workload of 20 hours in service; participating in care and/or activities with patients
and families in a direct way. The final sample consisted of 60 professionals. The tool for data
collection was a questionnaire with closed and semi-open questions about socioeconomic
profile, and mental health policies, practices and training. Quantitative data were tabulated in
the statistical software SPSS, and simple and bivariate statistics, chi-square type, was used for
analysis by adopting the significance level with the value p<0,05. In order to analyze data, the
content analysis of Bardin was used. The qualitative findings obtained with the semi-open
questions in Analyse Lexicale par Context d'un Ensemble
de Segments
de Texte (ALCESTE)
were grouped into four thematic axes: Professional action in mental health; Mental health
training; Scenarios of psychiatric reform and psychiatric hospitals; Mental health policies and
practices: challenges for professionals in hospitals. The profile of professionals has revealed
the majority of women (89,7%), nurses (36,7%), aged 50-59 years (42,9%), weekly workload
of 40 hours (52,4% ), time of completion of graduation from six to 15 years (57%), and
21,4% reported to have specialization in mental health. Regarding the practices developed in
individual care, it was found an association between those who
do not build or partially
conducts the therapeutic project and those who conduct care related to observation and
annotation. In family care, it was obtained care consultation during crisis; and, in group care,
recreational activities. In the analysis of thematic axes, it was noted that, despite changes
identified in the profiles and practices of higher-level professionals in care services for mental
health, with the implementation of new public policies for this field, the findings indicate the
confluence of asymmetries and divergences in the actions of the teams in psychiatric

representation, stress level and experiences of fishermen victims of
spinal cord injury caused by diving accident in the Northern beaches of Brazil. It is a

defined from inclusion and exclusion criteria of the participants. It was used as instrument to
collect the data a semi structured interview. Quantitative data was analyzed by descrip
