Resumo: O desenvolvimento de escoamentos turbulentos na presen?a de paredes ocorre tanto em aplica??es industriais quanto na natureza. Essa classe de escoamentos turbulentos possui grandes diferen?as comparando-se com turbul?ncia livre e os avan?os em t?cnicas experimentais e poder computacional est?o permitindo entender mais profundamente sobre as estruturas turbulentas encontradas em tais escoamentos. Neste trabalho, estudamos escoamentos turbulentos incompress?veis e compress?veis em canais utilizando a t?cnica de simula??o de grandes escalas. Escoamentos incompress?veis em canais com varia??es de forma s?o estudados com o prop?sito de se entender os efeitos de varia??o de gradiente de press?o e curvatura na forma??o de instabilidades de streaks. Al?m disso, os efeitos de varia??o de forma na anisotropia do escoamento tamb?m s?o investigados atrav?s de uma an?lise dos invariantes to tensor de Reynolds e do balan?o espectral de energia cin?tica turbulenta. Escoamentos supers?nicos em canais lisos tamb?m s?o analisados com o intuito de se compreender os efeitos de compressibilidade e n?mero de Reynolds na turbul?ncia e a import?ncia dos modos hidrodin?micos, t?rmicos e ac?sticos nas estruturas turbulentas coerentes. Para isso, uma an?lise dos efeitos de velocidade de advec??o de estruturas de velocidade e propriedades termodin?micas ? apresentada. Finalmente, t?cnicas de an?lise modal s?o aplicadas para investigar a f?sica das estruturas coerentes em escoamentos supers?nicos na presen?a de paredes para diferentes n?meros de Mach e Reynolds; Abstract: The development of turbulent flows in the presence of walls occurs in both industrial and nature applications. This class of turbulent flows has great differences when compared to free turbulence and the advances in experimental techniques and computational power allow a deeper understanding of the turbulent structures found in such flows. In this work, we study incompressible and compressible turbulent flows in channels using the large eddy simulation technique. Incompressible flows in channels with shape modifications are studied in order to understand the effects of pressure gradient variations and curvature in the formation of streak instabilities. In addition, the effects of shape variation on flow anisotropy are also investigated through an analysis of the anisotropic Reynolds stress tensor invariants and the turbulent kinetic energy spectral balance. Supersonic flows over smooth channels are also analyzed in order to understand the effects of compressibility and Reynolds number on turbulence and the importance of the hydrodynamic, thermal and acoustic modes in the coherent turbulent structures. This analysis is performed through an assessment of the advection velocities of the velocity components and thermodynamic properties in different regions of the boundary layer.
