This work presents a study of the interaction of the laser light with tissue of beans seeds (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.). It is a contribution for the development of biospeckle technique applied to recognition of alive tissues of beans seeds contaminated with fungi and its differentiation by the frequency specter. Biospeckle is an interference optic phenomenon that occurs when the laser light reaches a surface where some dynamic process occurs, due to biological activities or purely physic changes. The technique involves image treatment and do distinguish the contribution of each activity material in the seeds, the technique of Inertial Moment and frequency analysis were used. For frequency analysis, the Fourier Transform preceded of the convolution was applied. A great challenge in this area is to identify the elements that contribute to increase the activity of biospeckle, such as water, microorganisms, among others. In this direction, this research work had given one more step aiming to characterize the interaction of the laser with the biological material. Three groups of bean seeds were used, one of healthy seed and two groups of seeds contaminated with Aspergillus and Fusarium fungi, and the biospeckle were analyzed considering its activity and its frequency spectra. The seeds were illuminated each-by-each in a randomly order. The results had shown differences in the average values of IM of the three groups of seeds in all the illuminations. Also, it was observed the presence of some different harmonic in the biospeckle of the groups and differences between the harmonic for seeds of the same group. This work allow to confirm that it is possible to differentiate contaminated seeds from noncontaminated seeds using frequency analysis of the biospeckle laser.

Este trabalho apresenta um estudo da interaÃÃo da luz laser com tecidos de sementes de feijÃo (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.), contribuindo para o desenvolvimento da tÃcnica do biospeckle laser para reconhecimento de tecidos vivos de sementes de feijÃo contaminadas com fungos e sua diferenciaÃÃo pelo espectro de freqÃÃncia. O biospeckle à um fenÃmeno Ãptico de interferÃncia que ocorre quando a luz laser incide sobre uma superfÃcie onde se desenvolve um processo dinÃmico. Para diferenciar os dados obtidos na anÃlise foram utilizadas as tÃcnicas de Momento de InÃrcia e anÃlises de freqÃÃncia. Para a anÃlise de freqÃÃncia foi utilizada a Transformada de Fourier precedida da convoluÃÃo. Um grande desafio nessa Ãrea à conseguir identificar e diferenciar os diversos elementos que contribuem para o aumento de atividade do biospeckle, tais como atividade de Ãgua, presenÃa de microorganismos, entre outros. Neste sentido, este trabalho buscou dar um passo a mais visando caracterizar a interaÃÃo do laser com o material biolÃgico; para tal, amostras com tecidos vivos de feijÃo contaminados e nÃo contaminados foram avaliadas quanto a sua atividade e a sua freqÃÃncia. Image processing techniques have been widely used on the analysis and monitoring of several phenomena In farming it contributed with the process of animal reproduction aiming to eliminate human subjectivity when interpreting results in quality analysis of samples In the field of ruminants reproduction among others supervised attributes it was analyzed the whirl formed by the spermatozoon s massal movement This work aims to present alternatives for analyzing Ovis aries semen images available from optical microscopy using techniques such as inertial moment image segmentation and vortex The techniques were evaluated through an Ovis aries film of semen which was collected during its life time The inertial moment technique was able to follow the semen s activity levels through time It was even possible to observe all the changes in the sample produced by temperature adjustment The image segmentation technique enabled the separation of semen in miscellaneous grey levels offering the analyst more information for quality analysis The vortex movement present in semen were monitored following the kinetic displacement of the semen s islands in their vorticity behavior adding more information to the analysis
