2. Long, Cecelia. An Experiment With Mineral Pigments in a Prepared Frit.

It was the purpose of the writer to conduct a series of line blend experiments with mineral pigments in a prepared fritted glaze with the intention of finding: (1) the effects of the different mineral pigments, and (2) the desired quantities of these coloring agents in a given glaze. It was expected that the experiment would result in a set of sample tiles which could then be used in teaching. Advisors/Committee Members: Dr. Charles W. Saale, Mr. Glenn Hogue, Miss Lillian Bloomer.

3. Haskins, Keith E. Problems of Attendance in the Elementary School.

Although education is essentially a state function, the very nature of school attendance makes it primarily a local administrative problem. Therefore, the purpose of this study is three-fold: 1. To explore certain problems of pupil attendance on the elementary school level. 2. To identify and study problems which directly affect school attendance adversely. 3.
